Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga. I failed to really appreciate this game the first time I played but now I'm going in very excited. It seems like a somewhat underappreciated RPG but I think it's awesome. I think it holds pretty well despite the big graphical changes that happened recently. And it has an amazing OST, probably one of my favourites.

Does anyone know of any good science fiction RPGs out there? I've finished ME:A and I find myself hankering for a deep, story driven game filled with compelling sci-fi elements; aliens as aliens, rich world design, deep narrative, etc. Might be too specific of a request, but I figure it can't hurt to ask. EDIT: Or even a good science fiction tactical strategy game. I've been playing XCOM 2, Star craft, and Stellaris, but I've beaten those titles already. I am really looking forward to Phoenix Point:
but that's not due out until late 2018.

Though I might be a bit turned off if I can't play as a visitant in that one I only sayy that because my gaming group and I have just started a Numenera pen and paper campaign, and I'm playing as a Durik Seeker who Abides in Crystal; essentially a rock alien with crystal themed abilities.

At the moment I'm switching between Zelda: Breath of the Wild & Horizon: Zero Dawn
I'm loving Horizon but I'm struggling with BOTW, I can only go for a few hours because my annoyance over a lot of the gameplay gets too much. I really want to be enjoying it more.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is a lot of fun, stabbing robot dinosaurs with a spear never gets old and the story is really interesting.
I have also started my second playthrough of MEA, but I decided to take a break from that for a bit and build up my resources from the Apex mission so I can craft some really nice gear at the start.

Gods damn, I wish I had a PS4 because I would probably like Horizon Zero Dawn and Bloodborne, then remember that I swore off consoles back in early 2011.
Anyway, I'm currently downloading Sniper Elite 3 and Batman Arkham City/Knight (they were cheap, so I got them).
Waiting on my controller to get to my house today so I can finally play the Batman games because beat-em-ups (and some others) demand a controller, because the PC controls are awkward.
Also, I'm enjoying my run of old Skyrim, since I put in as many Souls-esque mods in as I could find. Surprisingly fun and for once, stable.
All this to fill my gaming void because nowadays I have to ask permission just to play DPS in Overwatch. In quickplay, of all modes. *whisky shot*

I'm always curious as about the controllers that PC gamers use. I use my PC for older games so I do use it as well as my PS4 and I prefer to use a controller. I was using a 360 controller, I tried the steam controller but was never able to get comfortable with it and recently got an Xbox One controller which works great.

While taking a break from Wildlands, I bought Nathan Drake Collection, Cosmic Star Heroine, and Mad Max a couple weeks ago. Drake and Mad Max were $10 and $8 respectively, so taking my time with those titles. Cosmic is decent for a $15 price tag, and I like it over Chrono Trigger.

I got out my old Jedi Outcast disc and started playing on Jedi Knight (Hard) difficulty. I'd forgotten how difficult that game is. Currently my aim is roughly on par with the average stormtrooper.

Cheap, solid feeling, and I can change the lights. Got it set at rainbow just because. Aside from the yore wheels under the controller, as I'm not yet used to them, it's quite a welcome change of pace from my old 360 controller.

Just finished Divinity 2, so I'm going to start Divinity Dragon Commander after my exams. Then again, I'll probably be thinking a lot more about the wives and the possible endings for them than studying

2 months ago I got stuck on a mission that when beat would unlock Mars...it was a tough capture mission that I had tried repeatedly to solo then pug but no one ever joined so I wound up giving up....... Last night, I decided to make 2 attempts then call it quits.......on the 2nd match, someone joined and I was able to complete the mission. Guess what? I got my ass to Mars.

Started playing The Elder Scrolls Online again. Thinking of restarting my main character. I have some other build theories I wanna try out in the process of deciding to start over or not.

Watching The Surge. There's no definitive quest marker to direct the way, players just have to run around until they encounter something that progress the game. So far the zones are small but there's a lot of backtracking to upgrade / craft equipment and mobs respawning every time the player runs back / heads out again from base. There's no quicksave, just autosave.
I can see it can get very tiresome every time the player dies, respawn at base, heads out, kill the same bunch of mobs again to get to corpse to retrieve items. Or kill a bunch of mobs, try to kill a boss, dies, respawn at base, kills the same bunch of mobs again, boss kills player. Rinse and repeat as many times until the attempt succeeds.

Since slogging my way through ME:A, I picked up The Order: 1886 on a whim and don't mind admitting that I enjoyed my time with the game. Sure it's super short, linear and unremarkable in terms of gameplay, but the presentation was just about good enough to carry me through. I'd actually like to see a sequel.

Finished Prey over the weekend, it was ok. I really enjoyed parts of it but it was full of a lot of frustrations.
I've given up on Zelda for now as I'm preferring Horizon: Zero Dawn and I only have enough time in my life for one open world game at a time.
I've also been having a blast with MarioKart 8 on the Switch.

Presently watching Quake Champions Beta. Reminds me of UT '99 but I'm not liking the newer ARTS. For one, it seems that real money have to be spent to buy different classes of champions. For another, players are not evenly matched. Granted, it's beta but it doesn't make any difference. Gone are the days when a player's fragging and tactical skills determine supremacy. Now it's all about different avatars with different set / fixed weapons and flashy armor players have to grind for or buy with $$.
