PoE2: Deadfire. Strangely enough, I get Mass Effect 1&2 vibes from that game, with all that ship exploring action.

On Yakuza 6 right now. Just power-leveling Kiryu before I get to Akiyama.

We got a PS4 Pro lately, mostly for couch gaming in the living room, and the exclusives.
So I started playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, and even liking it so far! I no longer even think Aloy is ugly, she more like "just fine". 😁 Is there a way to mod PS4 games to get rid of her dreads and make her a brunette? :-P

Well, let's see I've been playing: 1. Star Wars KOTOR - Currently on the last planet I need to find a star map (Manaan) before heading to the unknown world. 2. Horizon Zero Dawn - However, this game is stagnating for me and I don't think I'll finish it. God of War pretty much ruined this game for me since I tried playing it right after (I'm a PC gamer, so trying to knock out the best PS4 exclusives since I had to jump over for God of War). 3. State of Decay 2 - Survived for 3 days I think? Making a female only camp like that one in The Walking Dead. lol 4. Conan Exiles - Just bought this and it's better than I thought it would be. The combat and such is a bit underwhelming and it has a bit of a grind to get materials and such. But the building is basically just like building settlements in FO4 and I love that! Spent yesterday building my sandstone house haha

I've also finished Final Fantasy XIII. Or at least the questline. I was a bit tired of the game when I beat the last boss...
I don't mind "RPG's" which are mostly one straight corridor where the focus is more on the storyline. But the mookfights get a bit tedious after a while. I did like the story; confusing as it is at first, the setting and artstyles, the characters, the battle system. But the "crafting system" was horrendous.
I'm in the process of trying to do a complete playthrough of Kid Chameleon on the Sega Megadrive (using an Everdrive which supports save-states). That game, which is heavily inspired by Super Mario Bros (3), has too many levels, but lacks a password or a save system. So you basically had to sit through four hours of continuous gameplay just to beat it...
I'm also playing Castlevania: Lord of Shadows on the PC. With an Xbone controller (yeah I know it's blasphemy, but using mouse+keyboard in this game is even worse than the first Dark Souls…)
On the PS4 I'm occasionally playing FIFA '18, and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 couch multiplayer with the missus. Any recommendations for interesting couch 2-player games on the platform? I've only just begun to invest myself in Playstation-territory...

Is there a way to mod PS4 games to get rid of her dreads and make her a brunette? :-P Only games that have mods on PS4 are Fallout 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition, and even then, it's restricted (only assets that are already in-game can be used for the mods, unless the mods are from the Creation Club, which is basically indirect paid mods). Sony is hyper-sensitive about their precious baby PS4, so modding isn't going to be viable on it at any point in the near future.

I figured as much, guess I'm a bit spoiled having mostly been a PC gamer for ages. I know times are changing and mods are no longer PC-exclusive, but I guess Sony is kind of the overprotective father when it comes to the Playstation...

With all the Battlefield talk, I cranked open the Battlefield 1 campaign, which I never played. It's enjoyable, perhaps I should have done.

A game for review that i can't reveal. Let's just say I've been waiting to sink my teeth into this one....
Outside of that, a few indie games on steam that were given to me cheap.

Mostly Breath of The Wild. I've been, for whatever reason, playing off and on casually ever since I got it and my Switch. However recently I've just been vibing with it a lot lately. Also Bayonetta when I'm not in BoTW. Haven't given my PC much attention lately though, sadly.

Well - I finished the story on FFXV, but still have a lot to do. In the mean time I am still hooked onto "Tower of Time", but decided to do something completely different as third game. So.. I never played this style of game (well kind of, but not with this setup and graphics), but wanted to experiment a bit and thus picked up "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel".
And to my surprise... I actually like this game. Am I weird or what?

Well after the hype of the fallout 76 stuff last week, I've started up a new survival game of FO4. Didn't do much last night thanks to mods and trying to get the dark face bug fixed (finally did, but it was so annoying lol). Load order is important guys.

Grand Theft Auto 5, mainly online. The mood struck me to play it again and now I'm sucked back into grinding VIP missions for more cash to get a decent vehicle.

Mainly playing Warframe. Finished all the available quests in the codex and going to see about trying to get everything I need for Gara (Neuroptics), Octavia (Neuroptics), and Harrow (Neuroptics and Systems) which, hopefully, shouldn't be too difficult. Also want to try getting the Neuroptics for Ash, but I doubt that I'll get it any time soon (damn Manics).
Also finished watching a Lets Play of Detroit: Become Human (much to the dismay of my inner backseat gamer) and despite not initially being interested in it based on the trailers, I'm really interested in getting it now. Just a matter of being able to get money coming in again (had to move to South Carolina, which means no job for me at the moment) so that I can buy it.

Just a question... Aren't the threads: - What did you do today in any other game out there?, and
- What are you currently playing?
Discussing the same thing? They are both huge threads, but what's the difference?

Finally got around to checking out Pillars of Eternity and am pleased to report that it's looking to be every bit the game I hoped it would be. Also snapped up Lara Croft and Hitman Go on the PS4 last week and have enjoyed dipping into both here and there over the past few days.

Just a question... Aren't the threads: - What did you do today in any other game out there?, and
- What are you currently playing?
Discussing the same thing? They are both huge threads, but what's the difference? The title "What did you do today" kinda opens up for a more lengthy post, like that you did a specific mission or a feat in a game, whereas "What are you currently playing" asks for a more general thing like what series you've got going on. Like in "what did you do" I might be compelled to tell about my journey into that dungeon where I found a bunch of bears ragdolling on a bridge, whereas I would probably just say that I was playing Skyrim here and leave it at that. Also if you are scatterbrained like me and open up maybe five games a day but only play for ten minutes, then might not look at any of them until the next month it would feel a bit odd to list them all here, since I'm not really playing them currently. But I might like to share some highlights of what happened in my sessions that particular day, which fits the other threads title. Whereas someone more focused might feel more like telling that they were playing that series at the moment, but not really feel like sharing the itty bitty details each day. So basically speaking about the same things but in different manners. Or at least that's how I see it.

I'm currently still playing Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4). I completed most of the main game until "The Looming Shadow" and made a bit of progress in The Frozen Wilds.
On the PC I'm currently playing Star Trek (2013). I don't think it's actually that bad as they say it is, but it's not really good either. I think it's fun enough if you can handle the quirks.
Also playing FIFA 18 on PS4 with my wife. I won the 'women's world cup' with Netherlands - Norway at a 3-2 score. Now we've started on the present world cup.
And sometimes doing Diablo 3 coop with the missus on PS4, when we have the time.
And Transport Fever on PC in sandbox mode ...

Discussing the same thing? They are both huge threads, but what's the difference? What did you do today in any other game out there? -invites me to tell a particular, maybe peculiar aspect of what I done in a game. Is more about the rara and weird stuff that can happen or I dint expect.
What did you do today in any other game out there? -asks me about my general opinion of what I'm currently playing. Usually it's about the general aspect of the game and whether it is fun or not.
And when I don't see the one I'd like to post there may have been incidents when just using the other thread for sharing. At least that's what I've heard.
