Just had a significant stint as an Exalted Being in GW2. Floating mystical beings. This only happens in meta events where players choose their roles they want to take up. The new race is interesting and who can resist looking so tall and cool?

Civilization 3: - 1/5 of entertainment of Civilization 5 - Build as much troops as you can, still can't win a war in "Monarch" (AKA (5) King) difficulty. - All you do most of the time is recruiting units - 1/5 of entertainment of Civilization 5 again - The same AI as Civ 4. Or should I say Civ 4 is a copy-pasta of Civ 3 with religions, RPG-level ups, and better graphics. And I thought Civilization 3 is great because of Nostalgia. I'm returning to Civ 5 to finish my last playthrough as Inca Empire. Hopefully I'll play Civilization 6 in the future.

Doom is completely finished. A Myspace/Facebook friend that I keep in touch with said it best. It's a good game, but not worth the full $65. $30 is more reasonable for a thirteen hour single-player game.
Just downloaded Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate for this month's Games with Gold program. For a Dynasty Warriors game, I'm kind of glad this is the only one I'm willing to play through since it's free with my Gold subscription. There's no way in hell I'm going to play the entire franchise with the limited time I have. The warning I have to give though is you're going to need to grind a lot if you want to succeed in the game (i.e. replay missions a lot). I found my dream team after getting some extensive hands-on time. Yukimura Sanada (samurai with a spear), Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden (yes, he makes an appearance), and Xu Shu (Dynasty Warriors 7 character). Going to replay Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut to get ready for Mankind Divided.

No Man's Sky and Overwatch..... meanwhile I'm at a slow crawl in Dishonored and Bloodborne. They're my "filler" games that'll probably take 18 months to finish.
Got so mad at No Man's Sky yesterday.....I scanned all the animals on 3 planets and a trophy was supposed to pop, it wouldn't let me upload the 3rd planet no matter how hard I tried. That game is so full of glitches....yet so awesome...So I just played Overwatch the rest of the day....I think I won ONE match. Woof.

Technomancer. First time I played my karma was 'as bad as it can get' and all my companions were hostile, so I started again, made some wrong choices and had to start again one more time...

I'm surprised you could play it more than once! Sure, I enjoyed it, but going back to Ophir and fighting the same things got tiresome. It scratched the Mass Effect itch for sure, it just could've been so much better. Who did you side with? Who did you romance? I sided with Noctis and romanced Andrew, he was the only companion who didn't drive me nuts.

I only played it until I got to Noctis and then started over because I was unhappy with my character so I haven't finished the game yet. I'm trying to find motivation to continue to play it.

Anima update: Stun locking the crap out of the final boss till he pulls some near undodgable hit crap and trying to spam health and support spells for long enough to survive it all.
For some reason this isn't annoying. Every time I get closer to doing it I feel a sense of achievement. Bloody long fight though and if i return to title screen it resets to the pre-boss fight, boss fight.
Giving it a break for tonight.
Enjoying tea.

Borderlands 2. Or I should say I loaded old save (dunno how it survived, but it survived!) and try to get some achievementents. Also found some SHiFT codes for Golden Keys and I'm testing my luck with chest at Sanctuary. It's addicting

I played a game of Endless Space the other day in which I got steamrolled by AI early on.
I also played some me3mp on my sister's account yesterday.
Just got an xbone so I am looking for games to play. All of those 'based on Tom Clancy, kind of' games interest me so probably getting one of those soon.

I don't want to know how much of my in-game time has been spent playing the slots at Moxxi's. I never got anything good from the slots. I'm just obsessed with getting Eridium from the slots, so that I can go to Crazy Earl and upgrade my backpack, so that I can get more inventory space, so that I can sell more loot, so that I have more money to play the slots. It's the circle of loot.
I did get a Harold for hitting the triple-vault symbol jackpot, once.

"I'll play it till I get all those customization items." *gets all* "Well, Eridium drops as well..." *gets to the point where it's easier to get it from mobs, but keeps playing* "Help." I also have a habit of tipping Moxxi every time I enter her bar... But I like her comments too much to stop

Yesterday I finished Portal for the first time. Such a wacky game.
I bought 1 and 2 together in a pack, so I reckon I will be playing 2 on the weekend.

Binary Domain. Absolute excellent shooter, probably the best third person shooter I've played. The enemies are smart, shooting off limbs of robots are so satisftying nevermind the attention to detail the Yakuza team have put into the enemies and how they take damage. Shooting their heads off will most of the time turn them against their own allies. It also has a great cast of characters, good sci-fi story I thought was way more interesting than either of the Mass Effect sequels. It's just an overall fun ride.
