Loving the Disciple buff. Did it always have 6 shots? Could've sworn it was 4. Oh, the Talon needs a buff. It was buffed from 4 to 6. Thought so. It just wasn't mentioned in the patch notes.

Okay, so got in about 3 hours of play tonight and the game is much better. Guns and powers kill stuff. Woot.
But it's not going to get me back to daily playing, tbh. Too little, too late, mostly likely. I'm glad it's in a better state for everyone who still wants to play, and for those who pick it up from here on out.
Things are just still off with game, but now that more things are actually working, it's far clearer that the stuff that bugs me the most is just at the core of the design.

Had the same feeling after 1 hour of playing. Totally playable now, just not quite as fun, and addictive, as me3 was. Still feels just another multi-player game..still think it's lacking the charming and robust gameplay of its predecessor. But Am glad people are enjoying it now and I hope they continue doing so.

Didn't see this addition in the notes. Was gonna say "it's not an addition", but then realized you're right. So we can't farm MF without claiming the rewards in SP? That sucks because it takes sooooo looooong selecting each item, pressing "Claim" and waiting for no less than 5 seconds :/ Not to mention no one needs those rewards past lvl 20 or 25.

Overall much better. Hoped for some other weapons to get buffed.
Gold Outlaw snipers keep fucking me up though. Their previous patch buff was fine. This patch however I can get gibbed by two snipers and keep getting shot by them despite giving them a good punch in the face. I do not see why they got buffed in two patches.

After having played a few matches only, I have to say that lag is affecting me more than before the patch, but that might have been some weird coincidence related to my connection. Too early to tell really. Other than that, I experienced the sound bug a few times - not during the whole match, only for a few of the waves. Pretty annoying, especially with all the dogs. I was looking around thinking "Who dafuq is shooting at me?" while those wraiths were silently chewing on me. xD (Like during the game with MeetYourNanny yesterday - must have looked pretty stupid there LOL.) I swear, I'm lost when I can't hear them growling menacingly at me. Outlaws have become a bigger challenge definitely, which I really enjoy cause at the same time, my biotic combos seem to really DO something, yay! Seems much more epic now to set off consecutive explosion in the middle of some mob. Kett I didn't play yet unfortunately, and neither did I have time to try the SP improvements. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the patch though.

"PC – Improvements to display when running at different resolutions" Suuure. Anyone else playing on 1440p now getting this UI crap not lined up properly? I havent bothered to check SP for it yet, but it makes MP really annoying... As if the cursor bug and sound cutting out randomly weren't bad enough, they added this to my MEA experience. It's sad because I really want to like this game (for what it is), but these things trigger me SO. HARD. Balance changes were on point though, thanks MP team.

Alright, I played all yesterday leveling up the new Turian Agent & Ghost AR. He's like Geth Infiltrator and Geth Trooper rolled into one, and first character were investing in all powers seems like a viable option (I always skip one power entirely on all other kits I've played). I think he'll be very popular. I know I missed the Vanquisher wall hacks very badly once I finally leveled him up to 20 and had to play someone else just for the sake of wanting to level everyone else for having more variety options opened up for me once done this horrible, horrible grind.
The new Ghost AR is closer to the Geth Pulse Rifle then Harrier, but it's still very much Gold viable and my favorite AR. Head, my only other fave weapon next to Vanquisher. A higher weak point buff would be nice. Speaking of which, does it have higher then normal weak point multiplier?
The Vanquisher finally being able to pierce cover is very nice and actually balances it's dmg nerf. Even had two head shots with one bullet yesterday. The nerf didn't seem that bad. I still mostly played with it and some Ghost yesterday.
Changes to other weapons? Well, I was looking for another accurate AR so I brought the Halbert next to the Ghost to try once and what a piece of junk. Make it more like the Saber or get out, BioWare!
Did they slow down the fire rate to the Scattershot? Because what a piece of junk, aka, balls! And does the smart choke work on Shotguns yet?
Will try some more weapons today, but honestly, it feels like BioWare should scrap like 90% of the weapons we have and give us all new ones that are actually Gold viable and fun for a change. If I'm wrong after testing a few more, I'll have no problem admitting to it.
PS - seems like a step in the right direction, but BioWare needs to from now on crank these balance changes on a weekly basis. Waiting months for a game that badly still needs them is just going to kill this game. I mean, it doesn't take Skynet science to see that the Halbert sucks total balls next to the Ghost. Fix those numbers! Today!

Yes we are SORELY lacking a semi-auto assault rifle that actually feels good to use.
Halberd: uh no.
Mattock: maybe on Bronze.
Sandstorm (the gun): hahahahah, no.

I can make the Halberd work now... though, that maybe related to me picking bad weapons out of boredom to see if I can make them work... inadvertently training myself to make the best of a shit sandwich. With less shit, it's damn near passible...

Not as lethal as the ME3 days, but with the crap damage of pre-1.06... might as well be due to players training themselves to get the most out of a 8hp engine.

Am I the only one who has always hated the Hornet? Maybe. I've always been a fan of good burst fire weapons (going back to the Battle Rifle of my Halo 2 days). The Hornet is pin point accurate for easy head shots and actually does great damage now. I also believe it deals extra damage to armor. It eats through Destroyer turrets like candy.

They might be holding off on making a good semi-auto because they have a weapon DLC in the pipe and want people to buy it. I never used the Harrier in ME3 as I have a Naga mouse, my Mattock was a Harrier before the Harrier even existed.

I think I am too old for burst fire weapons. I can only use single-shots (snipers or semi auto ARs (that actually deal damage, none in MEA) or full autos now.
*sigh*
