Honestly, even before the three sides became about equally difficult, I preferred credit and XP farming on gold Apex mission with bonus to both regardless of enemy, and I will still farm exactly where I get the most credits on any given day because I don't love farming and want the most reward-for-effort possible. Otherwise no credit buff Apex = R/R missions all night. Really wish we got the bonus for playing random with this patch. Hopefully someday...

I also do those 15% reward increase Apex mission from time to time... but they also do get old after two games or so... I cannot play same setting for more than two games personally... third one becomes torture...

I usually don't like the idea of farming, but I will give credit to one aspect of it: You know your enemy. Outlaw is all about armor, while remnant is balanced between armor and shields, and kett is mainly shields/health. Yes, Kett have fiends, but if they are focus fired (or cobra'ed) you probably won't get off that many incinerates on armored targets during a Kett match.
That being said, the buffs to combos and incinerate also make outlaw just as easy as they were prepatch. Unless you are still playing a turian soldier with a vanquisher, in which case "No buff for you!".

Well, I am personally still trying to find a better/quicker farming strategy. Because for me, farming credits is just about pure speed than the "elimination of possible loss" scenario than Zero currently is. Sure, it is faster than most maps but compared to the Jade/Glacier (even Goddess/Giant) Platinum ~10min speed runs in ME3 (supressing all other spawns, and nuking the whole spawn in one place), it really is just marginally better than a regular game. It really doesn't help that the Cobra in MEA is more like a... garden snake.

I feel like farming is much less necessary in ME:A, or maybe I've just had a lot better luck with drops this time around. Took months to get that Harrier... Took 650 hours to get Harrier 1 in me3. Now I'm sitting at 100 hours and that piranha still eludes me. I really hope rng blesses me with it soon or I might have to become a farmer Don't forget to make your daily sacrifices to the rng gods before getting packs.

Farming I've done (not sure how fast / effective).
Zero you know.
Sandstorm, camp the ground floor rooms to the right as you spawn in. There are only two entrances so you have chokepoints. Use Barricade to troll incoming dogs. Stay off the roof; that's for n00bz.
Remnant Fortress when it re-enters the rotation. Camp the high-ground, obviously. Can also camp the sides where enemies jump up. You can easily kill them while they jump/jetpack (they won't attack while doing so).
Icebreaker is too big.
Paradox has terrible objective locations.
Derelict is also too big and the downstairs means the enemies path slowly.

It wasn`t very pleasing and was time consuming because it takes too long for enemy to show up.

They seemed to arrive pretty quickly to me. Comparable to Zero and way, way faster than anything on Icebreaker or Derelict.

One note on Harrier in ME3MP, I never got it even though my AVERAGE rank of UR's was around VII. Seriously, sometimes things just don't drop.
I feel like the main slowdown on Sandstorm is the enemies hopping between levels. For the first couple waves, EVERYONE staying down low makes sense. For later waves the top is a good pathway if people stay off it. There are also spots far enough from "enemy hop points" where you don't have to worry about being surprised synced from a fiend from below/around a corner, once they become an issue.
I'm never really for pure camping, though on sandstorm I tend to start each wave on the middle level on the far right hand side, where I can jump down in either direction onto an ammo box. For some reasons enemies rarely jump down that narrow ledge and onto the ammo crate, which I fully admitted is a cheap tactic to get my shields back. It's extremely cheap against big boys.

... It really doesn't help that the Cobra in MEA is more like a... garden snake. In my limited experience with new patch, if you can hit the cluster of enemies that happens closer to the end of the wave, one cobra can clear everything. It works best around Sandstorm room at the bottom right facing from LZ near the doorway. I had to clutch two waves yesterday against remnants and it was a life saver. All pugs died on their rooftops and I was alone with my singularity. IDK how many I killed, there were probably more than 10 including destroyer. Destroyer actually helped because if you can hit the weak point, it might scale up the damage numbers and maybe also radius. To aim better, just pop an ops pack, peek out of cover when destroyer opens up and go to town. This probably can be useful for camping speed runs. Maybe some team with 2 sentinels/barricades can block the doors and once they group, just nuke them all at once. IMO, 20 well placed cobras can clear it up in under 10 minutes, maybe even faster depending on how fast the spawns move there.

Again Outlaws I've only seen. Even the random/random was Outlaws. At least on Icebreaker, so a nice change from Paradox (Apex gold mission) and Zero (because you know...).

Just had a random random gold game that was on zero with remnant. My lvl 20 operator made quick work of everything apart from the destroyers. The buff to invasion is insane, being able to use it every 10s is amazing and it tears apart enemies so quickly. I can only imagine what 4 operators with maxed invasion would be able to do on this map and enemy

One immutable fact of life...farmers gonna farm. Haters gonna hate. If a hater starts farming he becomes a farmer... A self loathing one. But ontopic: farming is much more effective during weakened assault team apex missions. Any map and enemy can be easy if you prepare properly. I want variety though.

One note on Harrier in ME3MP, I never got it even though my AVERAGE rank of UR's was around VII. Seriously, sometimes things just don't drop. I just got Harrier X 2 days ago. I played a bit of ME3 MP until the patch because I was in desperate need of caster classes. Though my Hurricane sucks around at IV, while nearly every other UR is at X as well. Welp, at least I maxed my Javelin first and it was my favorite gun since a while. As for farming - meh, don't like it that much. However, camping can be relaxing from time to time. Not having to spam spacebar and middle click all match is nice for a change. I would appreciate remnant farming to be honest. I have Outlaw and Kett Gold but I think I have not even Bronze Remnant mastery. Also I like fighting them in general, even before this patch. The best thing to farm are APEX with cool modifiers. The Kett / Magma / Gold APEX with 200% headshot bonus was such a delight. Shadow + Human Infiltrator = You insta-gib 3-4 enemies per clip of the Shadow. You down Ascendents in two clips (one for orb, one for face). Glorious mission.
