So I was thinking back in 2014. 1/3 vanished by BSN closure, the other 1/3 sided with globalists and the half of the other 1/3 went inactive in 2017. Indeed still I'm doing well with the remnants since Jan 2018.

I'm the happiest when I'm hiking a mountain and there is nobody else around. Or when I go for a walk through the woods and fields on a sunny day with my headphones on, listening to my favorite music. My happiest moments never involve other people somehow... But I get lonely when I don't talk to people. I write a lot of emails and text messages to stay connected to people but I'd rather not see them constantly. In fact, the further away they are, the more I love them! This be called Internetism! I made it myself lel

Same, they also have to be steaming hot Nah, I only use relatively hot water in Dec/Jan. Even in November warm is good enough. And...I try to use cool water in Summers.

In general, what makes me happy is being alone and having no obligations to other people. Granted, it would probably get old if all my life was like that, but I can easily spend a week without speaking to anyone and be perfectly happy with the situation, and I can count the private phone calls or phone call-analogous internet communications I make in a month on one hand. You've spoken my mind! My boss is a really nosy one. She has recently realised that I'm like this and has kinda labelled me as "a loner who is in desperate need of friends and a significant other", and is always forcing me to go to meetings and work parties with her and my colleagues. That alone makes me want to quit my very stable job. But when I mention it to my family, they think I'm overreacting. Sorry about the rant. I just feel like most people love forcing their ways on others, especially on "the quiet types".

I do not have any people around that give a flying fuck about my well being, thats is in some ways very comfortable but in some ways really damn sad.

I’ll go to your work parties in your place if you like? After just one time she’ll never invite you out with her ever again...in fact she’ll probably never want to speak to you ever again for what you did to her but it will solve your problem at least! Plus I get to do something I enjoy, taking part in social occasions with people who don’t want me there. Even better if they’re paying for the drinks too. So it’s win, win.

Well, if she really means well, I guess I could learn to appreciate that. The problem is, the way she talks to me about my "lack of social activities" is really condescending. Like she's somehow far more superior and successful than the rest of us by having a wide social circle. Can't argue with the financially successful part, but superior? That depends. It's not like I don't have any friends and people close to me that I care about. I don't know how to precisely convey myself without sounding like a self-righteous hipster, but my friends and I have very niche interests and we love to discuss topics such as astrophysics and ecology. The people in my workplace are all like "mortgage marriage makeup" 24/7. Not saying that I'm disgusted by hearing these small talks, but they're extremely boring and mundane to me. I don't think I can make any friends, let alone finding a life partner, among these people.

Sounds like I could learn a thing or two from you Ha, there’s not a single thing you can learn from me if you want to be a decent human being I lie, I’m not that bad really, but I know what you mean about being around other gamers. It’s just one of those things that gives you a better connection instantly with another person...well unless they tell you they only play candy crush or something, that might be awkward Is there any way you can just tell your boss that you aren’t interested in going to her work parties? Seems a bit pushy for her to make you go even if she thinks she’s doing you some sort of favour.

That's unfortunate. My boss realized that I work best if I have my own office, so I have, a privilege shared only by herself and our secretary. The price is that our department's printers are in the same room, that's occasionally irritating, but better printers than people. Our office doors are always open, and people do come and go occasionally, but there's no permanent presence. That's how I like it.

I'd be very happy if the Seahawks won another Super Bowl in my lifetime. I'd be even more elated if I could actually attend that Super Bowl and be in the audience cheering when they win it.

I don't think I can make any friends, let alone finding a life partner, among these people. I can sympathize. It was like that for me at various points in my working life. It's not like people were unfriendly, not at all, but we had almost no connection points. It is unpleasant, but not the end of the world. It's not as if you need to find a life partner in your workplace, is it? Or at all, while we're at it, but then that's probably going too far for most.
As for the condescension, I tend to reply in kind if I encounter it. I am usually very polite, detached even, in social encounters if not among close friends, but to one of those condescending types I actually said that I found their talk boring at such an opportunity. Of course that didn't make me any friends there, but a minute later I was approached by someone else who told me she agreed and liked that someone had said it. Probably not the thing to say to your boss though....

Definitely not going too far for me personally Unfortunately people nowadays from all over the world are still extremely fixated on the idea of "date > marry > procreate". Personally I don't want any of these at the moment. I've tried dating, but I felt like my previous partners knew nothing of personal space/time, and they didn't give me anything extra in life that I couldn't find on my own. I might actually say things like that to my boss one day, when I no longer need my current job. As a reply to another post you've made: I'm really envious that you can work in your own office!

Is there any way you can just tell your boss that you aren’t interested in going to her work parties? Seems a bit pushy for her to make you go even if she thinks she’s doing you some sort of favour. I used to be able to work mostly on my own, decline any social events due to the nature of my work, up until getting promoted to a position I now hate more than ever. I'm now kinda representing our company., so to be fair, attending these parties can theoretically boost up my career. Unfortunately, I find myself unfit for this line of work, and it's not that I'm lazy or I refuse to learn. There are tasks you simply hate to perform not because of incompetence, but because they're in direct collision course with your personality/career ideology. Peter's Principle can be applied to my currently situation perfectly, but that's another rant for another day, maybe, probably not.

What makes me happy is holding my final medical reports in my hands that say that my probes show no sign of an inflammation in my guts. From spring to autumn I was so ill that I was not far away from death and none of the specialists could treat me or even identify my illness. There is the so called calprotectine scale, its a very good indicator of measuring the severeness of a gut infection, it is basically a byproduct that accumulates in the stool when the immune system is actively fighting in the guts, creating an infection. Normal levels are 0-50, a score of 400 is a typical very bad stomach flu with cramps, diarrhea and high fever, my scale was over 2000 for 4 months (The scale ends at 2000). Now I got the results of my last two measurements and they constantly stay at 37 which basically means there is no infection left and my guts are recovering. Whatever that was it either calmed down or it got defeated. I think I have never been happier in my life before. Considering the horrors I had to endure 24/7, how crappy I felt and how life threatening my situation was this is really legitimately comparable to having survived a major war. Heck, I'd rather go to war than having to endure this again. Now I just have to deal with my PTSD.

Yeah it was by far the worst time I ever had, I remember in the hospital I already had bloody pieces of my guts in the stool, at that point I thought I was done for. But here I am, resilient like the worst kinds of weeds!

Beetle! Damn dude! I'm glad you're ok. That sounds like it was scary. Wow...and they have no idea what it was? I doubt it was something you ate, unless you eat a lot of sushi and got some kind of parasite? What kind of meds did they put you on?
