Sekiro put me to sleep when I watch gameplay over Twitch. Like Dark Souls, it's not a game I will enjoy. Reason; the streamer trying over and over to get past mobs and bosses. One could sit there for over an hour and more, watching streamer struggling to put down a mini-boss or boss.
Traversing the gameworld means encountering mobs along the way. If the player die and reload the last checkpoint, he has to repeat from the beginning, fighting the same mobs again. It's often the case of rinse and repeat several times over until the player reaches the end of the path to traverse into the next zone. Should he decide to backtrack because he miss loot, he has to fight the same respawned mobs.
I'd call Dark Souls and Sekiro memory pattern training games because the player is basically learning the attack patterns of the mobs and bosses, learning what kind of equipment to use, when to dodge and strike to gain that extra advantage to remove enemy defenses and go for the killing blow. Over and over and over until he got the moves perfect for a particular mob / boss.

Have to laugh at the intro. I often see those comments. I don't mind that guy but that was a lot of talk for little content. I don't hold a lot of hope for DA4 unfortunately, especially hearing that they may be going to use Anthem code as a base WTF? Why would you not leverage of the DAI code??????? Anyway, I doubt we'll see anything for another 2 years, if we do its going to be rushed and not as good as it could have been given all the Bioware issues since the start of Anthems development.

The rat swarms reminds me of Dishonored I & II where the protag can summon them to attack, kill and consume. Not sure how this game would pan out, will watch on Twitch.

Obsidian Gryphon I'm super hyped for A Plague's Tale! I expect mediocre gameplay but as long as the narrative is good, I'll enjoy it. Had tons of fun with Vampyr too despite the at times incredibly infuriating combat.

I hate how they talk MEA down so much, yes it had problems but seriously the heart of the game was good and the combat was the best Bioware have delivered. Putting it in the same sentence as Anthem I think is too much, hell from a story perspective MEA is like comparing a good novel to a comic book. Anyway it is not in my nature to be pessimistic, I just hope they get the dough to make a good DA4 and that they get their development process sorted out to ensure its the best it can be. What I'd actually like to see them do is a REALLY GOOD DLC for Andromeda as quickly as possible to demonstrate in a shorter time frame that they are back, whilst continuing to work on DA4.

I'm guessing fans of this genre and kids would buy this. Wondering if they would really shell out the $$$$ to get pass the gates. Wouldn't be surprised.

This game is so on the periphery of my games to play, I really don't get the hype for it. Cyberpunk novels I have read have been good but I don't know why but actually playing it as a game just doesn't have me salivating to play it. I have watched my son play every GTA game and its the same thing the "story" just doesn't engage me, the gameplay doesn't engage or interest me and the characters to me for the most part are farcial. I totally appreciate why people want to play them but they just are not form me. I hope I am blown away later on by some trailer or something but at this stage I just do not care about this game.

I've to admit I didn't see the political agenda he's complaining about. I was totally at the "lore" of the game and watching the fights which I thought was interesting even if there're plot holes so big it couldn't possibly hold together ; Cohh was playing the story campaign so I was interested to see where it was going. I feel the story is campy, with nicely done graphics, animations and VA but the main course of the game is the fights, nothing else. I thought the female chars look fine so I presumed their original costumes were very skimpy with the barest coverage. *shrug* No interest in that. I did play arcade MC years ago but I was more interested in beating down opponents than watch jiggly parts or think the sexy "heroic" pose female chars tend to adopt in such games is anything fascinating.

I was initially interested in this until i heard it was 1st person....I'm not into the witcher games or that type of genre (wizards, Dragons...etc)...but furthermore i'm not really a fan of open world unless they main story is interesting and the side quests offer something almost as equally interesting. I like tight, solid linear driven storylines focusing on on characters and a compelling narrative....for me i sometimes feel the story gets lost in the open world games and you end up doing side missions and looking at various icons all over the map. Like yourself i see how some enjoy these experiences, but these are not for me as well....The Evil Within 2 ( i love 3rd person horror games) was a bit open world, but their side missions tied closely to the main story and provided background info to the main story,..t also helped that while it was open world, it wasn't big enough that you got lost track of the main story....i felt they did a good job making the world just big enough that the whole open world design didn't get away from them.
