Two additional things:
Your character taking time to turn around, causing dodges to go in the wrong direction if you're turning at all. Lack of light melee option, melee pulling the camera away from the target, generally weak tracking, and not much *umph*

The fact that, in order to play a kit at its maximum potential, not only do you need to level up your kit - each one individually! - to level 20, you need to collect TEN FUCKING CARDS.
It's not so bad for the common cards, but it's terrible for the rest. The uncommons are already a pain in the ass.
It fucking SUCKS.
Man, how am I ever going to max out those ultra rare characters? Even in ME3MP (in which I have over 700 hours) I didn't even max out my ultra rares, and those are just weapons!!!! Yeah, there were UR kits too, but you only needed to max them out for appearance, not for fucking playability.
It SUCKS not being able to max out kits for what may take forever.
They're just fucking milking the shit out of this.
Yeah, I'm pissed off, if you hadn't guessed.

i would change the maps too, in me3mp, there were this hideouts or choke points, where we all can resist the waves of nemies, each one doing something useful for the team, the N7 sentinel, useing the shild to prevent banshees to get in, or the N7 engineer deploying the backpack turrent to prive ammo or recharging shields, the quarian engneer scanning the enemies nearby for all terammates, just like the geth scanner, the volus rechargn shields, the asari justicar deploying te biotic bubble opon the team or in the enrtance to detonate biotics, etc that was really fun and cooperative, i loved that
now in this mea maps, everyone is running, escaping, shooting, and that's it
just run, jump, fly, shoot, boring
and i woudl replace all the asari melee animations by the heavy melee from me3mp, that attack was powerful, sexy and badass, unique
now every melee atttack is the exact same animation! wtf

The lack of any physical effect for enemies being shot. In me3mp when you hit an unshielded enemy with a high powered weapon, like a paladin for example, they would be staggered. In meamp they don't even notice it, and continue zigzagging around like headless chickens until they are killed.

... melee pulling the camera away from the target, generally weak tracking, and not much *umph* It is bad design IMO, maybe it can be fixed, not sure. I have a silly theory about it, probably all wrong. Maybe, the melee targets something but does not lock on moving targets, it seems to lock on space coordinates of the enemy when melee key is pressed. It has a sort of "bullet" that can hit a weak spot for some melee types. It also may have something to do with melee having an AoE. It is also possible that this is done on a client. So, if the enemy moves/dodges or gets ragdolled or simply is not there according to host but is somewhere else, the lock does not change the camera in that direction. Basically, what you see is one thing and what host sees is another thing. You on client are locked on coordinates at some point during the animation but there is no enemy there according to host and you don't see the enemy there also because it had been adjusted and animation is unskippable. Melee still hits most of the time because it has an area of effect and you hit actually in between where you think the enemy is and host thinks the enemy is. It is a very annoying feature, similar thing was in DAI. The animation cannot be interrupted as most of animations in MEA. But in DAI it was much less annoying because the whole game was in slow motion and enemies were largely stationary while MEA is on steroids, a bit overdone IMO. They can tune down the speed on some enemies a little bit, like 20-30% slower movement may be fine. This all makes the game really imprecise, it lacks accuracy. Weapons don't hit, powers mostly hit but there is dodge, it is all messed up big. There is some built in delay everywhere to account for p2p. It should be substantially less noticeable with dedicated servers. So, other frostbite games have dedicated servers. It does not seem to work well in p2p at all, just not designed to work in p2p environment. Bioware tries to make it work and it does work in ideal environment with minimal lag and powerful host.
