Hey BSN! Be my XCOM 2 soldiers! (AKA Pyrcy is crazy, sleep deprived, and had a random bs idea)

So...had a random idea. I've played a ton of XCom (and before that...X-Com) over my many years of life and as you may or may not be aware, you customize your soldiers quite a bit these games. So I thought...what the hell? Lets have all of BSN take on these alien bastards. If you want to be included, post here and I need a few things from you. I need to know at the very least what class you want, and a primary/secondary armor color selection. If you want to add even more details like race/hair color/eye color/ hair type/facial hair great that works too. Also, names otherwise I will use your SN here for their nickname and stick with the random first last names assigned.  If you are familiar with XCom and want to suggest what skills per level up your soldier gets, feel free to do that too.

I am running the Long War 2 version of the game, and it adds a fair amount of classes to choose from. For those not too familiar with the classes here is a quick breakdown.

Ranger- Closest thing to a 'basic' soldier in the game. Rifle primary, sawed off shotgun secondary. Rifle experts.

Shinobi- probably my favored class and the one my character will be. Can be specced to be stealthy scouts or badass blademasters (I typically go the latter). SMG primary/sword secondary

Assault- Close combat shotgunners. Tends to dominate the early game with my aggressive playstyle. Shotgun primary/ stun gun secondary

Technical- odd class, with mostly AOE abilities. Carries a gauntlet that can mount rockets and flamethrowers and a rifle.

Gunner- Heavy machine gunner. AOE and suppression experts, also great and taking out walls and cover and good against hardened targets. Heavy machinegun primary/ combat knife secondary

Grenadier- Blows shit up real good, good at causing panic and taking out groups of unarmored targets. Rifle and grenade launcher

Sharpshooter- long range sniper. In the right position, can dominate the battlefield. Sniper rifle primary holo targeter secondary.

Specialist- this one I always break in to two sub classes. Combat medic and hack specialists/engineers basically. They have a drone thingy that helps them, and otherwise are still solid with a rifle.

Psi- has psionic powers. Can cause panic, take over enemy minds, all sorts of mental stuff. Carries a rifle

SPARK- Robot badassess. Heavy autocannons, and can carry heavy weapons (rockets etc)



Dont worry about multiple choices of the same class, in XCom you want a bunch of the same ready at any time.



As I go a long, Ill post screenshots and various updates of what the BSN soldiers do. Also, if they get killed cause...thats XCom baby!
