Except neither of you bothered to actually read what I actually said and yet have the chutzpah to declare presumption was the case. I never anywhere stated my machine bluescreens, I stated this game regularly bluescreens because it does, up to and including both consoles which have decidedly fixed hardware configurations, so by all means continue pulling speculation out of your butts on how that occurs.

Also in the realm of shipping the USS MakeShitUp, MEA isn't even close to being the newest piece of software I own, entertainment or otherwise, nor is it remotely the most resource demanding app I have either; Mudbox, Maya, Quixel Suite and Substance Painter all blow anything Frostbite has ever attempted out of water in terms of hardware stressing, so you're pretty 0 for three, by by all means learn me up real good on how you know the limits of my hardware better than I do despite not having bothered to list any specs.

Meanwhile back in the real world, Mass Effect 3 still causes blue screens on folks with Creative hardware to this day, and that has nothing to do with how old their card/audio chipset is, and is in fact a known issue that EA will blanket refund for, and Frostbite has literal years of video, photo and Event Viewer evidence showing exactly what it has a proclivity to do and that is react badly at the abstraction level with various drivers, including Intel Northbridge, nVidia graphics drivers  and AMD laptop/AHCI drivers.

With you out of the picture, all we could do was speculate. But if you for example had listed the software you use by the side, I for one, would have pulled an instant 180. While I don´t know anything about Mudbox, Quixel or Substance, I know enough of Maya to know that it is not something you can easily run on grandmas calculator. ( Heck, if i´m not mistaken it ships with a networkrenderer ). While I certainly have an ego, I have no problem to admit that I was wrong. So, therefore, consider this an apology. And for everyone else:

It is absurd. Blastoff thinks he needs to be proven wrong. You made a claim, the burden is on you, and their is an abundance of evidence to the contrary provided by xaijin, a simple Google search, EA answers, etc.

Why's that? W10 can encounter BSODs alright: support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14238/windows-10-troubleshoot-blue-screen-errors, to give an example.

It's very simple: a BSOD is always a crash but not every crash is a BSOD. Type "common causes for BSOD" in Google and you'll get a very clear picture...

You do know the difference between a crash and a bsod dont you? no....

Btw since this topic has derailed completely and you guys literally are not proving a dam thing, I'll leave w/e you believe is a culprit (even though if you research BSOD you can see reasons they come up.) as just that, w/e.
