We're talking computers & software here: however unclear problems may seem to us, they never appear 'randomly'. Computer problems happen for reasons. Why? Well, because electrons... Yep, and we all know they stay put. Forever. Because? Serious, really: I'm genuinely interested how you think this is - simply - not so... Because xaijin who experiences them is a power user as per quiggles. A power user never experiences BSODs of his own doing or because there could be something wrong with his hardware. Impossibru. But of course. Matter settled...

For the woefully ignorant, PoS software = Point of Sale. Lol at the responses.... I take that back, LMFAO Edit: what is hilariouser than hilarious, is that you talk about how much stress the Frostbite engine puts on a machine. It isn't Furmark, and yet.... Systems that work well for all other applications randomly seem to have problems with the game. We're talking computers & software here: however unclear problems may seem to us, they never appear 'randomly'. Computer problems happen for reasons. Why? Well, because electrons... Hmm electrons. Good thing I'm a master electrician then. As for "randomly", I should have used quotes, my bad. That was tongue firmly on cheek.

That's just the game then man. Low requirements or overstress. lol lets not get carried away here and pretend bioware is fabulous. I'm definetly not siding with bioware with being a shytly programed game. Just was bringing to light that BSOD weren't caused by the game, only "triggered" by them. Forgive me but I gotta take your way of saying it, my english is terrible. They haven't changed their stoolisms, they just used a different engine this time around. Engines that are used to handle stoolisms. No wonder something smells like shyt, thats a dam sewage proccessing plant!

It's fun, I wish character progression would be quicker, it sucks leveling up one kit for days. If you're up for some curry, then bring your cement mixer tonight and we can catch a few games if you like 😛 And maybe even make a vid. I don't have any leveled up characters on the xbone though, so your curry has to be really good lol. Sounds good, I just need to pick up a new tv, my 50-inch fell off the stand and broke I'm using a "17 monitor now and it's quite awful.

Also in the realm of shipping the USS MakeShitUp, MEA isn't even close to being the newest piece of software I own, entertainment or otherwise, nor is it remotely the most resource demanding app I have either; Mudbox, Maya, Quixel Suite and Substance Painter all blow anything Frostbite has ever attempted out of water in terms of hardware stressing, so you're pretty 0 for three, by by all means learn me up real good on how you know the limits of my hardware better than I do despite not having bothered to list any specs. Meanwhile back in the real world, Mass Effect 3 still causes blue screens on folks with Creative hardware to this day, and that has nothing to do with how old their card/audio chipset is, and is in fact a known issue that EA will blanket refund for, and Frostbite has literal years of video, photo and Event Viewer evidence showing exactly what it has a proclivity to do and that is react badly at the abstraction level with various drivers, including Intel Northbridge, nVidia graphics drivers and AMD laptop/AHCI drivers.

While I don´t know anything about Mudbox, Quixel or Substance, I know enough of Maya to know that it is not something you can easily run on grandmas calculator. ( Heck, if i´m not mistaken it ships with a networkrenderer ). While I certainly have an ego, I have no problem to admit that I was wrong. So, therefore, consider this an apology. And for everyone else: I was fucking wrong!

And until proven without alot of fluff about nothing at all, (as in get to the f*cking point, which neither of you have done yet) I will continue to be. If proven wrong, I will gladly apologize. Yet and still, what the hell have either of you said? "Except neither of you bothered to actually read what I actually said and yet have the chutzpah to declare presumption was the case." I assume your speaking of someone else besides me, if so, excuse my interuption. (see thats me admiting when im wrong) Also, for those who apparently still experience BSODs from frostbite or w/e you mention, I ask, what are the error codes... literally. Because the error code indicates the issue. "Mass Effect 3 still causes blue screens on folks with Creative hardware to this day, " Conflicting.... :dumb: ?

This argument is still going on?
It is absurd. Blastoff thinks he needs to be proven wrong. You made a claim, the burden is on you, and their is an abundance of evidence to the contrary provided by xaijin, a simple Google search, EA answers, etc.
Certainly ignore me, I haven't a clue what I'm talking about.

It is not technically BSOD because of Win10 which should not have any BSOD, it might be BSOD on Win7 but sometimes might resolve, depends on affected modules and certain BIOS settings. I had exactly same errors with DAIMP when I was running W7Pro on the very same machine I upgraded to W10 a year ago and a third of these were BSODs while 2/3 were silent shutdowns. These were never fixed completely. In either case, the point is mute as clearly Meda has had considerable amount of simply defective code which has been patched. Now,where is the infamous Beregost bug from Baldur's Gate? forums.beamdog.com/discussion/249/beregost-save-game-corruptionThe bug has been blamed on hardware, software, anything. It was actually an incorrect entry for some door vertex. This was found by a fan about 10 years after BG release and even migrated into enhanced edition. www.shsforums.net/topic/44746-beregost-crashes-solved/

Prove me wrong please. I'll learn something and apologize if you do. Software is the actual problem in a great many cases, either exposed over time or apparently immediately, depending on the purpose. As a General Manager for a multiple-store retail chain, I implemented inventory control across all stores by setting up a server at our flagship store, working with our ISP getting static IP addresses for each location so that I could implement the old software that the owner had in a way it could do, but was not intended to. I forced one change upon him: upgrading the PoS PCs to Windows 2000Professional, from ME, in 1999. I have been building since before then. Your post ignores the known-to-me fact that xaijin and others here are perfectly sound PC users, and in some cases power users. They understand full well how to keep their machines up-to-date, and do so, because their work and their play demand it. This is ok, you haven't been around in a while, and maybe don't recognize everybody, or never paid attention. Whatever. Your claim is that the end-user has a system issue, and that it is definitely not lolBiowerPls software at fault. This claim is both hilarious, and false. It is false because yes you may be right, but many prove you wrong. Not that you would ever admit it. Edit: Your advice is sound; check your system out if you are having more than rare BSODs. I would never dispute that base argument. When one specific software is the culprit after hardware and drivers check out, well... What should we tell the PS4 players?Yeah, what do you say? As far as PC... I am a PC Master Race type. I'm an old AMD-ATI Master Race guy and I know from personal experience: 99% of the time, it's end-user issues. A driver is not up to date, a certain .dll file wasn't installed, I messed up the video card settings, I've got some program needlessly running in the background sucking away resources, etc. I know this as a PC user. However, I'm a lot less prone to blame myself when it comes to Frostbite. Once I get past main menu and delve into the game, it's now mostly on Frostbite. If I get a BSOD and it repeats when playing a certain game, I'll check it against another game that runs the same engine. If nothing happens, I man up and visit EA HQ Answers and hope not to go blind looking for a solution. If something does happen, I'm not blaming the game. I'm looking at my disposible income because it's hardware replacement time. It might be a new memory stick (big time culprit), a new video card (I use this excuse when I want to upgrade. I tell my wife, it's about to explode.) or some issue with a fan not doing its job. I don't own consoles anymore, but I have my friend's PS4. It's always software as far as I'm concerned because I can't get under the hood of the PS4 to verify it. The PS4 version was broken at launch, but after 1.05 and most recently 1.07, the game is really cool.

You do know the difference between a crash and a bsod dont you? no.... Btw since this topic has derailed completely and you guys literally are not proving a dam thing, I'll leave w/e you believe is a culprit (even though if you research BSOD you can see reasons they come up.) as just that, w/e. Things have gotten boring.
