So...that game looked phenomenal....
But the 1.000.000 Credits question is
Will it have a story and will I be able to play the bloody thing by myself or is it gonna be like destiny and lock anything end-game related behind the necessity to play coop?
God I hope they let me play offline...or at least shut myself away from other players

The same way that MEAMP doesn't encourage solo, I suspect this is the same.
You either pick up an online pal or temporary pal is my guess.
The co-op mechanics must be well thought through for this to work.

It's got extreme visual polish. Can't say much on gameplay, but I'm curious where they go from here. Very nice.

The EA guy on the Youtube stream said you can play solo.
I guess currently go back to -44:48 for that part, otherwise it's right after they talk to some MS dudes about the new xbox.

I wonder if all of the game's content will be available for solo-players, or if some parts will be exclusively for groups/raid/whatevs?
I hope you will be able to do all content in the game solo, and that group-play, will "just" scale up whatever mission you're doing, based on number of players present.

Promising. Now, if only we can knew anything about solo-gameplay... I mean, in coop mod you have group of 4. What does it mean solo-play wise? 3 companions? True solo with difficulty level scaled?

I'd put money on scaling for normal events (story missions, etc) but tuned for groups on party-designed content like raids or "hard mode" quests. Of course since devs always underestimate the players, these will also be able to be soloed by skilled players.

And I really, REALLY want to know what's up with first person view. Is it there to stay? Would there be third-person view as well (within the hub)?

The max amount of players that can join you on your "shared world" is 3 and the devs already said "it’s 'absolutely' possible to play through the entire game solo". Anthem is a co-op game, not a MMOFPS.

Yeah, but is there an actual story, or is it just: Hello, Freelancer! Go out into the world and find things to kill in our (undisputedly) awesome OW! So, it's like Inquisition with the story ending when you arrive to Haven and just the large, upscale and changeable Hinterlands to explore?

Thanks for clarifying :-) I would love it if the game also includes companions that you could bring with you out on missions - I'd be very happy if you could form your team with a combination of real players and said companions. Any information about how you find other people to group with? I hope the game allows for a variety of ways to form groups.

Companions in DAI and MEA gets stuck on anything that isn't flat terrain. Anthems is basically 100% not-flat. As for friends, I suspect the xbox/ps4/origin friend list is going to be the primary way of friends joining. Although, the gameplay trailer had a label "friend of the week" over a Javelin early in the gameplay trailer. It's possible the game propose other players to play with that way as well, kinda like how mobile games do.

I read about both of them, but the difference is not that clear, aside from universal agreement "it was made for multiplayer, period". I think Guild Wars might be another example as well. You can go solo with both games if you want to, there is group content in The Division (I don't have experience with Destiny), but at least the lower difficulty levels you can solo that as well it just might mean you die until you have better gear. The world itself stays the same regardless if you are solo or in a group, so you don't have something like AI companions following you around if you aren't in a group.

It does not say if we can play the whole game in third person or just with Armour suit on in third person. It does not say if there is single person story or if we have companions to communicate with. It does not say if we can play solo offline. It does not say if we can create a character in CC. Just a few questions but there are hundreds more.

You have to really have your heart invested in progression for this game to work w/o companions, because there is nothing/nobody else to log in for if you are solo player. They can put a couple of "advisors'/"bosses" in the hub, sort of like the guy we saw in the beginning, so some folks may latch their affections onto them. A real person is way more risky than a companion, because they are strangers, have their own interests, schedules and well, it is very hard to have an on-line playing partnership that is not awkward in one way or another.

Maybe to you companions is the only reasons you play BioWare games, but I don't think that stand for most gamers. People like the companions, but they don't play those games just for them. By the way, Anthem always talk about playing with friends, not strangers. You should be able to schedules and know the interests of your friends, no?

Well if that is the case maybe it is time for BioWare to try something new as well. Try to develop new content and ideas that attract players instead of just relying just on the tried and true methods because that is what old timers want.
