The main character sounds like Nicholas Boulton and the bartender sounds like some Ferelden chap that i can't remember the name of.
Also the game looks awesome. Its from the Life is Strange peeps, isn't it?

The Doctor he is talking to at the beginning of the gameplay video is the British male Inquisitor, can't remember his name.

They refer to being inspired by VTM:Bloodlines which is a very good start. Hopefully the gameplay and story are solid, quite excited about this.

Can't really ask for more, at least in terms of inspiration for a vampire focused game. Hopefully the implementation is in lock-step with the inspiration. Certainly looks very good so far.

The main vampire guy is voiced by the same actor who was the voice of the Augur in Jaws of Hakkon, among other characters. He voiced other characters in the main DAI campaign as well.

I'm so excited for this! I think we're seriously lacking in good vampire games.
This probably won't be like VtM though, I think the genres are somewhat different so there won't be this huge amount of dialogue maybe? The style actually reminds me of Dishonored for some reason. Still, I'm looking forward to it!

The thing that made bloodlines great, was the writing and characterization. They didn't just give you a feed dump of everyone's entire life story. Instead they made implications, used dialog to convey what people have been going through and what they have gone through. They made certain every character felt like a real person (or as much as they could, given the limitations of the time).
I'm with @cristina, that this game reminds me of dishonored. Another good game by any measurement. But if it gets compared with blood lines, blood lines will always come out on top (imo).
I see more disappointment with the games industry nowadays, then I do hope. So I'm going to be one of those wait and see folks. Still, I'm interested. But I'm not hopeful.

@tzeenchianapostrophe excelent points. They don't necessarily need to make the protagonist silent to make the game compelling.
If they give the characters interesting back stories, and don't have them tell you their whole life story at once. Heck, make some of them never tell you everything. Also writing that stays true to the world would help a great deal. Not making it to bright and cheery, but not so dark and depressing either. Then give everyone unique powers, but make everyone different as well. Some universal powers, but some non-universal powers too.
These are just the ideas I'm coming up with after a 12 hour work shift. I'm sure game devs could come up with a whole mess more.

I think one of the biggest differences between this and Bloodlines is how feeding seems to work.
In Bloodlines you could (and should) feed without killing anyone innocent. Your feeding allowed you to regenerate health and blood and you needed to feed because your blood constantly drained (especially with a mod). Feeding was constrained by needing to maintain your humanity (not killing innocents), maintaining the masquerade (not being observed feeding or using certain powers), and having a limited number of npcs to feed on. Although the last point meant it lacked realism given the setting was LA, all those points together did promote very interesting gameplay where you would track down an innocent and lure them away.
Now in Vampyr, it seems you always kill when you feed. You don't need to feed at all but without doing so you will not become more powerful. The consequences of feeding is that the story will change stemming from the npcs death and the role that impacts on London. That sounds kind of cool but I have become very wary about video game writers adding numerous consequences to games given how much effort has to go into doing it well. We will have to see how it pans out but Vampyr feeding will be about decision making whereas Bloodlines feeding was a mini-game with decision making restricted to the more traditional missions and quests. I think I will miss the mini-game, it was a big part of what made Bloodlines unique and really meshed thematic design with gameplay very well (although the mod that enhanced it was significantly better than the basic game).

I think one of the biggest differences between this and Bloodlines is how feeding seems to work. Do we know that for sure? That you can't feed without killing?
Edit, there's also the possibility of feeding on enemies, there might be quite a few of them which are unavoidable or close to it, so killing them and feeding on them shouldn't be treated the same as just feeding on innocents.
But yeah, I dislike it when games punish you and restrict you from the more fun aspects of the game because "morality". Gameplay should be fun regardless of your moral decisions, if you only get to hide and only enjoy fun gameplay when you are "evil", well, that's not a good design decision IMO.
The last Deus Ex game actually improved on this approach a bit - even if you went for a non-lethal playstyle, you still got some very awesome augmentations to play with.
No, sorry I should have emphasized that. We don't know for sure. However we have been told several times a) You need to feed to become more powerful Who you feed on will change the story c) Feed too much and entire regions of London will become desolate and fall to the flu I am guilty of assumptions here. If they put in these gameplay mechanisms it would seem odd to be easily be able to avoid them. But I do only have a basic understanding of how it works so could easily be wrong. Another cool little titbit is that apparently after you feed on someone you gain access to their memories which can help solve problems.

I thought this write-up was interesting. Warning: it talks about sucking off old ladies. Uh, I mean, sucking blood from old ladies. wegotthiscovered.com/gaming/e3-2017-vampyr-preview/I guess that clears up whether a vampire bite always infects. There's no mention of the old lady being turned.

The game is becoming available on Steam in less than half an hour, just a heads up to whoever is interested in this game. I'll wait for some tests but the concept sounds very interesting to me. I am not a big fan of vampire stories per se but an RPG with lot's of dialogue and puzzles (!) and with that NPC mechanic sounds like it has a lot of potential. Let's see if DontNod can make it happen. They promised incredible new gameplay before in Remember Me and that didn't quite work out IMO. Still, kinda hopeful it'll be better here.

The few reviews I have read cite technical issues as being a big problem. Other than that the story is supposedly good. Might look into this for myself at some point.
