I've heard cryo, and disruptor, but most importantly incendiary. I managed to get two combat dets off of incendiary but it took two games to get that. I thought for sure I'd gotten 30-40 but no - just the two. The stealth grid I think I couldn't start getting until 1.06 patch, which was a pain because I'd tried before that and failed several times, but at least I'm over 50% done with it. Cryo sounds easiest but incendiary doesn't seem to stick because my weapons are too powerful, so I have to find a squishy pistol or something to hit (sucks) and then hit them with the concussive shot (solo). It's been a while since I did combat detonations but I seem to recall disruptor ammo doesn't work: it produces tech detonations. I found that taking the appropriate level of ammo helps as well. Whenever I take L1 - say - incendiary ammo to a gold game, I have big trouble detonating a Observer, for example, because the priming window is close to near death for the target; taking L3 or higher however, the prime comes fairly short after that Observer has lost its shields. But, as I said, I did combat detonations playing pugs, so I think I got a lot from the field; the challenge is indeed easier if you play with other people for sure. With regard to Stealth Grid: for me that wasn't fixed until 1.08, the latest patch...

The first being the stealth grid. The second being combat detonations. See the bold now after replying - Combat detonations are hard to do and near impossible solo. There's really only two ways of achieving it by means of either concussive shot or trip mines with an ammo primer (not sure if I did this before being patched and they fixed this since I've not tried this post patch). Everything I worked on with combat detonations was pre 1.08 so I need to try again but I'm really burned out on trying this one. Just make a concussive shot spam build and they'll come easy enough. Don't know what kind of primer is needed but I got my combat combos done for 95%, and I don't even play my HSol that often.

Did you do them solo? Nah, solo is for scrubs. I never used ammo until lvl 20 either, and got most of the detonations done. So I'm thinking the primer doesn't matter if the detonater is combat... So CS would be the only way to do it.

Ok, I think with your help and 1.08 I've got this going finally. I was stuck at 30. I did a Bronze solo and tested with Eagle X/Barrel X/Receiver X and Cryo I against Zero on Outlaw. I got five combos. I thought, YES! I'm finally moving. So, I upped the ante. I did a Gold solo and tested with Avenger S X/Barrel X/Receiver X and Cryo II against Remnant on Derelict. I went from 35 to 115. Of course, I freaking got upload on Wave 6 and it was a massacre. I got one of the three uploads and failed. I just gave up. They just kept coming and coming and oh well. At least I got 80. So, as long as I play another 4-5 more games like this, I'm good. I'll probably up it to a Cryo III to test and see how much faster the combos come. I noted that Bronze they pretty much died instantly when I hit them with the shot but since the health was much higher on Gold, I could do more combos on a couple of them and it was good. I'm pretty sure about the detonations, though but correct me if I'm wrong. The detonation you get is determined by the primer: if I hit a biotic primer with Concussive Shot (with or without ammo), I get a biotic detonation. The same goes for tech detonations: they're always based on electricity, regardless of the source. The remaining combat detonations as far as I can tell, are fire and ice. Come to think of it, detonating your engineer's Cryo Beam with Overload should give you a combat detonation as well...

Finally. This game can be fun for me. I finished the challenge and completed all challenges. Only 15 points away from number 1 spot. That's PC. I'm sure you just need to turn a few more cheats on and then you got it. Not that hard. More mods!

In my humble opinion, fiend teleport sync killed is what really makes MEAMP fun. Nothing can make your blood pump more faster when the moment you realized you just got sync killed like that. Yesterday I was doing a round 6 upload in the backroom of zero and the fiend jump teleported through the outside wall (landing right on top of the group upload) grappled and beat me to death instantaneously right at the start of the round. If I wasn't already raging at that point I think you can probably see from space what comes next... ...surprise surprise the rest of them went on to unceremoniously bleed out without completing a single upload didn't they? Well of course they f--kin' did! I haven't played Kett since. I got grabbed by a fiend last night as I ran through a doorway, it was coming the other way, and immediately picked me up and killed me. No extraction for me.
