You can ask him if he has ever killed innocents, and he admits he has, that unlucky civilians getting caught in the crossfire is just part of the job. Yes, but how you can him compare to Loghain? He only guilty as the most of our companion is. Leliana for example... And Zevran left the Crows. He's not innocent, he's an assassin. But in my eyes much more acceptable than the politicians, nobles, who hire him. I wasn't signaling Zevran out specifically, merely pointing out how all of those people had logical, legitimate reasons for the PC not to want them. I like exploring the motivations of why one character is pragmatic and/or redeemable, why another is not.

I like exploring the motivations of why one character is pragmatic and/or redeemable, why another is not. Then why you argued with me? I know, to kill Zevran with a Warden, who still fears, he will try to kill him/her, is logical. To spare him, also have reasons. To kill Loghain for his sins, is logical, and acceptable choice. To give him a chance to redeem himself, well. The only thing is: I rather judge Loghain. Zevran and Loghain can't be compared.

Persuading Alistair and Anora to marry while I recruit Loghain then go on to refuse the dark ritual is actually my canon outcome of the Landsmeet and the one I choose for almost all my Wardens. The only exceptions are my two male Wardens who still had Alistair and Anora marry, but killed Loghain and carried out the dark ritual with Morrigan.
My female Warden(s) reason for sparing Loghain is pretty much because of Riorden. She knows Riorden is aware of all the Loghain did including having Duncan and the other Wardens killed then blaming them for the death of Cailan at Ostagar. Then even going to the trouble of putting a bounty on Surana and Alistair's heads and hiring an assassin to kill them. Alistair even reminds Riorden of this right then and there yet he still says there are "compelling reasons" to have Loghain join the Order. My Surana listens to that and thinks to herself. "There has to be a really good reason that he STILL wants Loghain despite all he's done. Riorden is a senior Warden afterall. I'm going to trust him on that and support him." And since Eamon's plan from the beginning was to put Alistair on the throne she's happy to proceed with that. The modified plan is to marry him off to Anora and that's what she's going to try to do.
Incidentally, I really think Riorden should have called for a brief recess at that point, pulled Surana and Alistair aside and said. "You DO know Loghain is the perfect choice to sacrifice to the Archdemon right?" In private.
As for Zevran, all my Wardens spare his life and recruit him because she(they) know they're hurting for help at the time. He's being upfront and honest with his offer to help with the Blight and his motivations and she figures its a fair deal. She needs all the help she can get and adding a skilled rogue to her team gives her a bit more of a chance at succeeding. He wants to live a bit longer and get some protection from the Crows. Of course she allows him to seduce her a bit and has a casual fling with him as stress relief but she's uninterested in him as a romantic partner. He's an unrepentant assassin and doesn't want to change his profession even though he now could. All he wants is to earn cash from the killings for himself instead of the Crows taking it. That's not compatible with her own morals so she never takes him as a lover.
At least those are the reasons my Wardens have for Loghain and Zevran.

When I play a female Lavellan, I always feel pretty divided. I can't avoid romancing Solas because it seems wrong not to choose a LI who is that relevant to the overall story. But I enjoy the Cullen romance 10x more because there is a greater number of cutscenes, dialogue and even a wedding.
I still go for Solas in the end... but I do so with a heavy heart.
I'd say this is one of the worst endings for Alistair. Married to a woman who doesn't love him and stuck with a job he never wanted.

Pretty sure I killed Zevran on my very first playthrough. lol I can beat that. I killed Wynne the first playthrough. Turns out if you do so much as listen to (i.e. say "What do you mean?") Morrigan when she says "Hey, maybe its best if the Circle falls" Wynne immediately attacks you. I didn't actually even know she was a party member until my second playthrough. And even then only because I had already seen Morrigan's fade dream, and wanted to see a new one.

I find all male dwarves unattractive.
Varric, all the NPCs, and every Inquisitor Male Dwarf I've seen other people make, I would never romance. Which I find odd, I think that Harding and Dagna are adorable.

I think that happened in my first game too. I also missed out on Leliana and Sten in Lothering, so I had a pretty small crew that game (and no Shale installed yet).

Probably because most male Dwarves are stocky, hairy and have chins you could break a chisel on, while most female Dwarfs are short, stacked and all around "smooshy". In the game of Wicked Grace for attractive genes, I think the female dwarves have won hand's down. (Sorry Varric, but as much as I loved you in DA2, you did look far more handsome in Inquisition than your previous design)

DAI female dwarves have weird body structure. They look like children, which is creepy. DAO female dwarves (minus the huge hands, but everyone has that problem in DAO) work best for me.
As for male dwarves, yeah, they don't really do it for me either. My Bruenor was kinda cute - well, Harding thought so anyway.
So, on topic.....I guess my "wish" for DA4 is to have DAO looking dwarves with normal sized hands!

Cullenites. Who else did you think it could have been? lol, pretty much suspected that. But was it like one random person was writing a story or post and decided they were tired of saying "that guy" and decided he needed a name? Then couldn't decided on a name and finally went "I'll just call him Jim". And everyone else just said "that's sounds as good as anything, let's go with it". Because, honestly, that story would amuse me even more than some elaborate reason why he got named that and why everyone agrees on it

What scout is this? What game? Inquisition - the scout that interrupts Cullen and the Inquisitor's first kiss He's also the same scout that appears everywhere in Skyhold. When you talk to Cullen for the first time in Skyhold, there's about 3 or 4 of him in that scene around the table. (All hail the Jimquisition)

The first time I played Dragon Age Origins, I thought I wouldn't be able to use a bow because I hadn't found any arrows. That's the Baldur's Gate mentality at work!

More Confessions:
Metaknowledge is the only reason I’ve ever spared Zevran. For my new and ‘canon’ (at least for now) playthrough, I killed him while he was unconcious. After all the other assassins, mooks, and other assorted plotters who I’ve killed, why should this elf be any different to my Warden?
I will confess to attempting to headcanon a reason why I wouldn’t bring Shale with me on the way to the Anvil of the Void, I always side with Branka but I don’t want to lose Shale, uurrrgh.
