This brings back some memories of adolescent nerddom for me. I never got very far in Bard's Tale 1 or 2, but a few of my friends were really into the games at the time and would sit there exploring and making their own maps as they went along. I don't remember a whole lot about them except that in Bard's Tale 2, I would go to a group of monks/clerics for healing and they would do this "Dona Eis Requiem" chant that sounded a lot like the monks from Monty Python & the Holy Grail who would hit themselves on the head after chanting.

Necro because Bards Tale IV is getting a directors cut today. Anyone going to try it? If you bought the game initially you get it for free. The game on release was a disappointment. Hopefully this improves it enough to make me want to play it.
