War of the Planet of the apes

Not until it's on tv

I find the concept of this movie very daft, so no, not going to see it.

Also I don't like Chimpanzees, I'd rather see planet of the elephants or planet of the sea slugs. 

I don't go to many movies so probably no. However I do like the series and would like to see if it is somewhat viable as it relates to the early one.

I didn't even know this was coming out.

weirdly I would go to the movies every week to watch whatever was just released but my local cinema requires me to have a carer because I'm in a wheelchair, the wheelchair seating area is in the premium space so I pay for two premium seats (despite the fact I sit in my chair) and premium seating is almost double that of standard seating.... if I was on welfare then my wife would get carers allowance which would entitle us to gain a card for free that would grant me half price admission and her free admission......

however i'm not on welfare and whilst I do need a carer to help with a lot of stuff (like cooking and cleaning and reminding me what day it is etc etc) because I have a war pension, and since they only provide carers allowance if your bed ridden we don't get the card ..... now strangely I do get a free bus pass I do get discounts in all sorts of places purely because i'm stuck in a chair, I get aa discount again because i'm a vet but not at the cinema chain ....

so unless its on sky or amazon movies for free I tend not to watch things that often..... although the kids keep telling me about all these wondrous websites where you can watch movies before there on in the cinema I'm rather reticent to use such things because a criminal conviction would remove my only source of income at this point in time .....

having said all that I do like a lot of the action type movies that have come out recently and the planet of the apes stuff is always fun to watch, especially since 12 monkeys put the cat among the pigeons and allowed the reboots to be made without needing space craft or time travel to make it happen ..... what I don't like is how its basically yet another episode of apocalypse earth 

lets be honest here the tv series was way better than the films, the remakes have been better in terms of special effects but storyline wise there pretty garbage and the "twist to modernise" seems to centre around the exact same crap idea that every other remake uses, they shift form some where on another planet to be on earth in a few years time, this isn't limited to a single franchise even but seems to be a big problem that Hollywood has decided is the new go to factor, and whilst the new cast do their parts well and the effects team has really gone overboard to get the details right the films tend to be all flashy and no hard bite in the background which is probably because all the intellectuals got squeezed out of Hollywood for wrong think and now the morons that are left are only capable of producing poor storyline remakes of classic films and they hope nobody notices the lack of substance from one film to the next by giving things a face lift....(and several of the films are literally just reskins of each other with a few names changed) 

Maybe; the 1st one in the reboot series was GREAT. Caesar was awesome.

I have not seen the 2nd one.

But for the past couple of years my attention span has declined so I do not watch very many new movies nowadays.

I don't pay attention to American Cinema...what is wrong with the movie?

I mean it looks stupid, the last two movies in the series looked stupid, but it is racist?
