I wish they had done more with Theresa. She might as well have literally disappeared from the game after you complete the courtship quest. The set-up up until then was actually fairly sweet, but in the end it seems she was only there to give the player a sex scene and then forgotten about.

For future character building, does anyone know if: 1) Fighting with short swords and sabers enhances dexterity faster than strenght (I used longswords the whole game and at the end, I had my strength on level 17 or so. Dexterity was progressing much slower)? I just want to be sure, because there's a perk under dexterity that seems quite useful for them. 2) Is it better idea to specialize in one weapon or to have at least two? I didn't have much problem with combat, but some fights were taking quite long because I used longsword against foes with heavy armor. On the other hand, my skills with axes and maces were painfully low while swords were almost maxed out. The weapons are "ruled" by an attribute. If you check the item you'll see the min requirement. This will be the main attribute that enhances when using that weapon item. You can just stick to swords, something is off with the ripostes and maces - I was surprised to find out it fricken auto-counters when you use swords. I didn't do like that when I played my 1st playthrough with maces. I found that auto-counter a tad OP for my liking. I think I have seen auto-counters with the mace as well, could be something about the sword stats that makes it happen more often though.

I used to wait for the block and immediately chain an attack for I thought it works like this and I just wouldn't pull it off every time because resons (a shield in the way, to late clicked, too early, etc.). So I kinda thought it was my skillz when it happened, lol. Imagine my surprise when I saw it happen automatically with longsword, because I wanted to farm some defense skill and didn't try to initiate an attack click right away. I was like: "WTF?! This is supposed to auto-happen!?"

New patch. New Hair and Beard mechanics. Customize your style in bathhouses and gain extra charisma with freshly cut hair. Unarmed mercy kill added for a more "subtile" way to solve quests. Real Easter eggs added. The hunt for the golden egg can begin! Traditional Czech Easter-themed weapon to be found, called "Pomlázka". Resurrection day is upon us! Some NPCs that have died due to the physics glitches have risen from their graves. Fixed problems with the "Mightier than the Sword" quest related to the scribe. Rattay archery competition works on advanced difficulty. Fixed save issue for the "House of God" quest. Another 200 major bugs fixed Free DLC - HD Texture and Audio Pack As a special treat, we're releasing the first free DLC - HD Texture & Audio Pack for PC which together enhance the visual and audio experience of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. HD Textures boost the overall graphics of Kingdom Come: Deliverance to create an ever more lifelike look at 1403 Bohemia. HD Audio is available for all three voiceover languages (English, German and French) and enhances all in game voiceovers and sounds. ***** New hair and beard? I'm wondering what does the egg do. I've been wanting to download one of those enhance graphic mods but didn't because of all the complicated stuff to do so the new upgrade by the devs is heartily welcomed.

So I googled "Pomlazka" and it seems to be some kind of socially institutionalised BDSM practice during easter. I'd try it on Teresa.

That's what it sounds like, not the exact way you use it.
But yes. It involves whipping. A dying tradition, really.

Metric fuckton more kinky. Soo, excuse the poor quality, but... drive.google.com/open?id=16_2QiZ6v3PXnaQGTTSYmpvs8HAucmV5h (VLC Media Player could playback) And in this picture you can see the tradition alive and well. All in all, I took a trip to the square, turns out there's a market there today. And music.

I was just joking. The tradition seems to be known in the eastern parts but I've certainly not heard it here in the west of Germany. Deep in the rural places here we have sinister traditions like burning crosses. Springtime rituals may have young folk jump through an Easter bonfire, but you know how that goes when there is a cross planted in the middle of the bonfire.

Does anyone play this on console, and able to confirm if this game still runs sluggishly on it? I know this game has had numerous problems with bugs, being woefully unoptimized etc.

One thing that DOES bother me, however, is that now after levelling like an idiot to bring Henry up to lvl18 Swordsmanship/Defence and lvl15 Warfare, Cumans are still a bunch of fuckers that I swear START at lvl20.
And some villagers. Plain and simple, I feel like all the time I spent training with the Captain was only there so they could laugh in my face and call me a retard.

Just bought this game on a whim in the Steam winter sale. Just a few minutes into it and I already like it. Hopefully it holds to its promise. Also, a funny aside: the high-res texture pack available for free requires a graphics card with 6GB VRAM. I don't have that on the PC I'm playing, but I have a packaged new PC standing right here in my room which I just bought but haven't installed yet....with a shiny new GTX 1070Ti... This is also the first game that runs at less than 50 fps out of the box on the highest settings, so I'm *really* glad I bought a new PC just now.

Hints for a new feller: Think hard.
Measure twice, cut once, as one of our sayings goes.
If you found a fair fight, you fucked up. Level warfare, level preferred weapon type (I use longswords because hey, romanticised, also iconic for knights, but it's admittably a stupid choice the moment you encounter a guy in armor), but remember to level all these things that give you an advantage. Alchemy and herbalism for poison-making. Sneak for ability to stealth kill. Horse riding because why not (also there was a massive cheese including mounted archery last I played).
And think on everything - that can not be told enough times. If you think the fight would be disadvantageous, or even fair, come back at night. Slit their throats with a dagger. Poison their food.
It's not flashy, it's not honorable, but stand in the ashes of a burned village and ask the dead if honor matters. The silence is your answer.
You should imagine yourself as a black ops feller, or a scout rather than an undefeatable Knight. There will be enough fighting for you to be the line infantry in, but make it your regular MO, and you will certainly have a hard time.

Not sure if I would've thought like that right from the start, but it certainly appeals to my preferred playing style
Also, yeah, Javik's memetic statement is well worth quoting and adapting now and then.

And knife. For the hunting. Loved it. Doing it in Warframe too.
