Classic Battlefront 1 was better than Classic Battlefront 2 I'm amazed that someone remembers those old things. The AI bots of both games are pretty crappy, but BF1 bots actually appear more balanced. They don't camp in turrets for the whole match (as BF2 does), they use them when appropriate and can actually aim the gun. BF2's bots always, always go for the player only, to the point it gets ridiciuous at times. BF1 has more outdoor/large scale maps that allow more classes to shine, instead of focusing too much on Assault Blaster/Grenades/Shotgun or in special cases, Snipers. Oh, and BF1 has my favourite map, Rhen Var Citadel.

Spoiler warning for Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman.
Maybe unpopular opinion: I prefer Captain Marvel to Wonder Woman. I enjoy both movies though! Id say Wonder Woman is 8/10, Captain Marvel is 9.5/10.
Ill give some credit to Wonder Woman, it has a better soundtrack and maybe Id say it's more "artistic", but the third act just... disappoints me? It feels so out of place and... idk. It kinda brings out the writer in me and after watching the "boss fight" Im just left asking "how did she do that?" "how did she know she could do that? It was never foreshadowed" and its thematically inconsistent. It would be a perfect movie if it wasn't for the third act, I think.
Captain Marvel is more consistent imo. I remember when I saw it for the first time, I felt like the start of the movie was like... fight scene - transition - fight scene - transition - fight scene and when the movie reached the train I was almost preparing myself to be disappointed. I was completely wrong! I fell in love with the movie soon after. I love the humor and the visuals. It has a little more charm than WW I think, and I have a smile on my face almost the entire time whenever I watch it. Its a fun movie, with nice themes, some nice music and has a well-earned place on my list of favorite movies. I'd say... hm. Maybe 5th?

Classic Battlefront 1 was better than Classic Battlefront 2 I actually own both on PC. I recently purchased Battlefront 1 on Steam, while my Battlefront 2 is a non-steam copy. I think I like them both equally. I like the maps in Battlefront 1, and I like being able to lay down. Though the instant action heroes are completely immortal. The only thing I've found that has killed them is a missile to the foot on Bespin Platforms so they fall to their deaths. Battlefront 2 though has better graphics, vehicle gameplay and space battles and Ive modded it so AI heroes appear in instant action anyway And are a lot more killable! Though still powerful More unpopular opinion: I dont like The Witcher 1 (and I guess the entire series because its kinda a series issue?). I bought the first one on Steam in a sale and I played 4 hours. I cant play as Geralt. Everything else seemed interesting but I found the protagonist to be... intolerable is a strong word. But I guess it fits? I just... no. I want to play more, but a protagonist with better writing and characterization would be the only thing that could make it happen I think. And apparently he is one of gamings most beloved characters so eh. I have a theory that the guy from MGSV is a silent Geralt in disguise. Im pretty sure theyre the same guy?

Though still powerful Regrding BF1, I've read that you can squish them lightsabers toters by landing a starfighter on them, but never pulled it off myself. Another method I discovered for myself back in the day before I had interent are Saber tanks (Republic/Empire). Their split front allows to 'pick up' a jedi. Snatch them, then push them into a body of water and watch them drown. Don't know about AT-AT feet. To be honest, I don't like the melee heroes in both games much. BF2's are killable but that knockdown-locking turns them into a "you die, period" button. Unless one has mines or detpacks.

Geralt is the biggest stumbling block for me to get into the Witcher, because I cannot get passed how uninteresting and unlikable I find the protagonist. Coupled with how tepid and emotionless he sounds in most of his dialogue, what exactly is the appeal of this character that makes him so beloved?

Well, he's not necessarily massively interesting, I guess, but I always found him likeable enough. I liked his friendships with Zoltan and Dandelion and his relationship with Ciri in the third game.

I've got all 3 witcher games. Started the first one l, haven't touched the second and played the crap outta the 3rd. This being said, I like Geralt in the 3rd game a hundred times more than what I've seen in the first so far.

I tried W2 on the Playstation, I didn't like the way it handled. You could really tell it was made to be played on a computer. I'm curious to see what W3 is like though, from what I've seen, it seems better. I'm completely in the dark when it comes to the storyline, but fromthe cutscenes I've seen, the story seems interesting.

I mean, it's not perfect gameplay wise, but I am getting a kick out of its story, world set-up, and its surprisingly engaging quest-lines.

I could never figure out how the potions worked and wasn't good with the fighting style. I ended up getting too frustrated and quit playing it.

And mapping the dodge button did basically all the work for me. Dint bother much about potions, only mildly used the weapon oils and health potions.

Witcher 3 is far from perfect - honestly I was never crazy about the combat and levelling up didn't feel satisfying to me, but the story and characters and the general fun of galloping around the enormous game world on Roach made up for it.

...Still a good idea though, and useful. But it has problems.

The most well thought out and nuanced take on gender fluidity/transgenderism I have seen in fictional media was in fact not something that was intentionally designed to appeal to that niche of individuals swarming the Twitter feeds nowadays. The alien Liir in The Sword of the Stars setting.
A species of psychic mammals, not too dissimilar to porpoises, who are all collectively hermaphroditic.
As a result of this quirk of biology the Liir had rather fluid gender roles in their society, with members taking up aspects of male and female depending on how they lived and worked with the other Liir. Their language even had several different meanings to the term mother to reflect the myriad of ways females could be represented during different aspects of their lives.
All of this was expanded upon in the lore, and it didn't come across as preachy, biased, or even as a potential soapbox to espouse social/political themes. Nor did it detract from the rest of the science fiction universe the Liir were set in.
A race of space whales in a relatively unknown strategy game took a far more nuanced approach to this topic than any of the other mainstream social/political attempts.

It's usually pretty easy to spot dubious stuff though. I think in general, people are too dismissive of Wikipedia. If someone quotes it online to back up their argument everyone tends to roll their eyes, but it's actually been shown to be pretty accurate most of the time.

I also found only the second part playable, 1 and 3, especially 3 I lost interest very early and thought it was one of the most boring starts of a game it had. Drab music didnt help it at all. I am in the same boat with the protagonist you're saying... not interesting at all, but 2:nd had good start for the game which carried me for a long time unlike 3.
