Some of you might remember that due to common forum etiquette quotes like this
are considered obnoxious, so almost every time I reply I have to switch to BBCode mode to manually remove previous quotes, because standard preview is bugged out here. So my question/request - is there a way to automate this process and quote only the person you are replying?

I don't really think it makes much sense to change anything.
- Complaints about quote pyramids are exceptionally rare. It's a fairly small minority that are bothered by them.
- There is already an automatic cap of three quotes. That's a very reasonable number.
- It's only an issue with particularly long quotes, and there is no realistic way to automate cutting down long quotes. Users are always going to have to do that manually.
