Bioware fix this stupid s@@t.I am really tired of the way you handled assist points in this game. Let's take the human adept for example. Soloing, key word here, I found that I was managing to obtain thousands more points per round than with other classes.
I said self, how could this be with the same amount of enemies? Well as I looked closer, I noticed something peculiar. Assist here, assist there, for fu$k sake Bioware assist's everywhere.

37 points wraith
55 points destined
65 points annoited
200 points fiend
Etc, etc, etc.
Will update. Fix your shi# bioware.

You must be one of the crybabies who actually gives a fuck about a scoreboard. What crutch? Assist points don't increase survivability. Nor do they increase damage. They are a statistic.

Furthermore the in game scoreboard is the only tool Bioware has provided that measures in game performance, period. Crowd control is assisting. Floating enemies don't shoot, and are defenseless. It's much easier to assign points for the floating than determining exactly how much they're not shooting and easier to hit if they weren't floating. Could they have made it a cc medal? Sure, but they chose not to. Who's really the troll here, someone who made a dumb thread about points, or the people responding to that troll? |

While this is an obvious troll post with a likely alt account made specifically for trolling (based on the creative username) on a flame bait subject, cc points they are not. They are points for hitting an enemy with an ability that can technically debuff (ie flamethrower 6b) or cc. That is, you get full assist points for using a lifting shockwave on armored or shielded targets. But while I do agree that the assist medals are largely meaningless score inflators, I also think that this game has far more pressing issues to deal with. People will find a way to pad their scores (stealth grid spamming at spawn, woo).
Now everyone can return to taking the bait and feeding the troll.
