hi,
I finished the game 2 years ago long time I know, I lost track with all the updates I want to start a new character with a strong archer build I'm not sure between Rogue Archer Assassin or artificer which ones you recommend me to play as a solid build.
Also it's kind of hard to find recent build any link will help a lot.
Thanks in advance for your help

I am currently working on an archer playthrough. My 'base' build is similar to what I use in multiplayer. My specialization is Artificer. By base build I mean focusing on 4 main skills, with 4 other compliments. I've played with the Assassin spec before and was left underwhelmed. Hidden Blades is great, but upgraded Throwing blades is no slouch. I always play on Nightmare difficulty.
* = upgraded Base: Stealth*, Leaping shot, Explosive shot*, and Long shot*. With damage upgrade LS can crit around 9k, and I'm not using optimal gear yet. Others: Throwing blades* (~12k damage), Spike trap, MotR, Hail of Arrows.
Early on Stealth is very handy, but when you get Spike trap not as much, but still useful. Spike trap is an exceptional utility skill. Drop one on an enemy spawning from a fade rift and it's an instakill. Stand on one and stealthed rogues/terror demons will get popped when they spawn underneath you. If a melee attacker is coming at you, just drop one and take a couple steps back. Or stealth, run into a group and drop one in the middle of them. There's many nifty ways to use it.
What really makes this build shine is Artificer's Opportunity Knocks passive. You'll want to craft a bow with as much Crit Chance as you can get. You're shooting for, all gear included, a min of 60%, up to around 80%. I think I'm at 76% at lvl 22 and that works well for me. All other gear should be focused on Dexterity, except for any crit chance/crit damage rings. Much of the really good gear is from the DLC's, but Malika's Guard amulet is in Crestwood Village if you have Trespasser installed.
Best bow schematics are Grunsmann's (has grip) and Perseverance (no grip), for Crit Chance anyway. Both are available in the Black Emporium. As I've always said in multiplayer, the best way to increase damage (outside of a better weapon) is to increase critical hits.
To summarize, your weapon, a ring, and cunning passives should provide all of your crit chance. Dexterity will provide attack and crit damage. I like to add a ring too. Superior Prowler Armor (Tier 3) will be the best armor. Get lots of crit chance, cooldowns are almost eliminated, kill lots of stuff really quickly.

There are bunch of builds, including the best DW Assassin build and the best Archer Artificer build, in the pinned threads at the top of the forum. All the links work in here: bsn.boards.net/thread/1682/archive-best-original-combat-threadsJust take the Archer skills from the Artificer build and add to the DW Assassin build and you have the best Archer Assassin. Assassin is all about getting into the flanking cone, throwing Mark of Death/Mark of Doom, then going into Stealth, then throwing Hidden Blades or Leaping Shot if it's a big target like a dragon, then triggering Mark of Death. There are other combinations, like starting with Mark of the Rift, but the basic idea is with gear and Masterworks and Mighty Offense tonic, stack as much damage with critical and flanking bonuses as you can, pile it on while the Mark of Death is active, then trigger it.
