Greetings my fellow Dragon Age fans. Long time Dragon Age fan here. I decided to give Dragon Age: Inquisition another go recently with the Warrior Class and thought I would give the Reaver another try. To give you a little history the last time I played a Warrior back when DAI launched I was disappointed with my Warrior playthrough to say the least. I tried to do some research on the Warrior Class before my playthrough and the guides that I discovered were either too outdated or simply lacking in information.
So after 112 hours of my most recent playthrough I felt like I should do a guide on a particular Reaver build that I put together. This was a labor of love and my attempt to try and contribute to the Dragon Age Community. I hope this video will be helpful and possibly motivate those of you out there who are interested in doing another playthrough with the Warrior Class, but your not sure what build to go with.
This will be a lengthy and in-depth guide. TIMESTAMPS will be available in the video description for convenience. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CV4woG_YJt4)

(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CV4woG_YJt4) Thanks for the timestamp links, the let me jump around and see specific details without going through the whole thing. Very interesting. I think this is the first warrior build I've ever seen that doesn't take a single active from the W&S or 2H trees! The Rage & Roll build has at least one active from those trees, Block & Slash. I guess that follows from the fact that spamming DR + Devour are pretty much everything a warrior needs for damage. As a variation, I might suggest dropping Taunt in favor of Whirlwind/Vortex of Steel. Use that active to suck in all nearby enemies to insure you get the most out of your RoP. Plus, it's fun af.

Great video, and with all the data helps a lot to do comparisons and fine tuning with other reaver builds. Thanks for this. If i may offer one bit of advice, instead of warcry for guard get 4 points in battle-master for fortifying blast horn of valour. Then if you add a horn of valour masterwork (fade touched snoufleur) on your equipment it procs its with fortifying upgrade which means procs of 15% more armor, damage and 10% guard per hit for 12 seconds and it applies to your allies as well. I personally find that a lot more valuable as it keeps me and my party alive without having to worry about any guard generation whatsoever.

My goal was to dedicate as much Stamina as possible to maintain Ring of Pain, thus I didn't use the Whirlwind Vortex (It is a useful tool). Charging Bull/Gore and Trample doesn't work well with channeling abilities from my testing. If I were to use it I would probably trade the Clear a Path or Coup De Grace for the Whirlwind upgrade. I just feel like Dragon-Rage is so damn good I felt it unnecessary to use other damage dealing Active Skills (mainly due to your limitation of mapping up to 8 Active Skills). Great video, and with all the data helps a lot to do comparisons and fine tuning with other reaver builds. Thanks for this. I was aware of this combination prior to making this video. However I felt I should do something a bit different by providing a guide that does not demand specific gear to function effectively. Seasoned veterans may see this build and tweak as their hears desire. Inexperienced Warrior players (or people new to the game) would be able to use this build early on in their leveling experience. I personally tried to farm the Snoufleur item you speak of (Specially for Iron Bull as my Battlemaster Tank), but after about 30 minutes of no luck I said fuggit and continued on with the game. And I am glad you found the video helpful.

Yea Snoufleur is kind of a pain to farm, but i generally do it because both its fade touched options are excellent.
