Not really. If you spare Henselt, Radavovid betrays and kills him off screen in TW3. Vergen will also be one of the first cities Nilfgaard conquers regardless of your actions.
Finally the Ambassador Silhard is dead. I crowed. Wanted to kill him for a looooong time
The reason why we were so persistent that you rescue Triss was because it leads to the best ending. That and you'll play through one of the most badass moments in the Witcher series!
Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect Andromeda, Mass Effect Legendary Edition
I've read up on it, and I think helping Triss and saving mages is the least happy ending.
At least, to me. there is a beauty in supporting freedom for non humans, whom would also welcome mages well enough as well especially if Saskia blames those responsible, not just all mages. she's cool like that.
It is too bad that this happy Iorveth ending can't also include saving Anaise to give her to the Temerian consulate, kill Silgard and kill Dethmold. Those were the high lights of Roche's path. Little girl saying she'll take up the sword.
This all leads me to believe that maybe Ciri being Empress isn't such a bad ending. I can see her working with Saskia, relenting on anti mage sentiment, and perhaps even letting Anaise and her like regain a Metaphorical leadership position.

I think this let's play actually convinced my I still need to see Roche's path for myself after all.. I doubt it would change my canon decision but still seems interesting. If not a bit more sad.
I really wish we could have seen Saskia and Iorveth in TW3!!

Just go for it. On easy. And skip the dumb contracts. Make a save right before you Roche vs Triss.
Seeing it myself was worth more then the ten articles I read before TW3.
And YouTube videos cut out a lot of context, IMO

You can still save Triss on Ivoreth's path.
But not Saskia. I'm not leaving the world's last dragon under Philipas control. Ew.
