well for one spirit healer, i know they want to stop using heals which is fine, but they could do the focus being the heal ability and the rest of the abilities are support, like buffs and such.
ranger would be nice, i like rangers.
blood mage. no reason we can't play a blood mage, especially if we will be in tevinter as it was hinted.
also i want specs to be involved in cutscenes. like a templar can block magic in cutsence, or a spirit healer heal someone and such. and no fetching quest for the spec. though i would love that getting the spec will be involved as part of the story in some way.

I wonder what a retooled Spirit Warrior would be like. Would it be more oriented toward tanking or damage dealing? A mix of both? Something else? Anyone have any thoughts? So many. Ultimately, the player fantasy for this style of spec is a magical melee - whether that is the form of a tank relying on magic for defense/debuffs or something on the more offensive side. Keep in mind that one of the many factors going in to things like this, in any game, is: 'what other options are available to the Player?'. Perhaps if you already have some really solid feeling Tank-oriented Specs, you may shift this guy in to a more point-blank magical melee role (as an example). So, all that said, almost anything is possible by itself but from a holistic approach we'll always ensure we have a good mix of things that meet as many core player fantasies as possible (within tech limits ofcourse - we had some limitations *cough*gen3*cough* on DAI that prevented certain things )

Guardian(Aura of the Stalwart Defender is such a fun sustained imho) and Ranger were also two of my fav specializations.I'd love to see them again... It would also be great to see a Shapeshifter that is actually viable :/

What if Shapeshifter abilities could be used out-of-combat to reach hidden areas? So rather than have a warrior in the party kick down a crumbling wall, a Shapeshifter would turn into a Bronto and smash through it instead?
(And if Rangers came back for Rogues, they could summon a Bronto for the same purpose).

Reaver. But I mean, hardcore reaving reaver. I want my character to be able to rip off his own arm just so he able to attack his enemy with 2 weapons at once!

I liked what they did in ME:A an just basically made everything available to the player an they choose who they were so i want to see that an spirit healer options returned since in all likelihood we be in tevinter an no reason to now really exclude blood magic from the narrative so no reason to exclude healing skills, if you want to play 4 rogue grps an chuck potions by all means do so an in meantime i'll play a support class which i love playing cause i find dpsing utterly boring an same with tanking but by god dont use the feeble excuse of balancing as to why healing is removed when you got potions, healing grenades, regen pots with aoe after upgrade, barrier spam and freaking iron skin an thus immortality no matter difficulty

The only thing I want from the specializations, is that I can make my characters feel unique from the party members I mean, both in Origins and DA2 you could pick a specialization none of your companions had, therefore making them more 'unique' as it were for example Origins/Awakening Warrior: Champion/Templar (depending on whether you have Alistair or Loghain in your party at the end), Reaver (unless you opt to give that to Sten, which I generally do) and Guardian Rogue: Ranger, Duelist and Shadow Mage: Blood Mage, Arcane Warrior and Battle Mage in DA2 each of the companions had their own personal skill tree, which borrowed from one of the other specializations however you could still be 'unique' if you figure that out most unique ways are a Mage who's a Force Mage, or a Warrior who's a Templar, for Rogue it's a bit trickier since there's already 2 (or 3 if you also have Sebastian) in your party who more or less borrow from the three specs that are available however in Inquisition there wasn't much room to be...well, unique no matter what spec you choose you'll always be a sort of copy from the companion in your party that shares that same specialization unless of course you made a certain build (I however am terrible at creating builds, I just tend to go with the abilities that make sense and hope for the best xD) But as for specalizations I'd love to see return... Arcane Warrior and Shape shifter for Mages Bard and Ranger for Rogues for Warriors, that's a bit trickier since I don't play many warriors but I'd love to see Spirit Warrior make a return as well as for something new, a mage with a bow, something akin to Arcane Archers I mean...we have Dalish 'it's a bow', I want a staff that looks and can be used as a bow

i would love to see some new classes. templar, assassin and champion are getting old. but i can see we need classes like assassin and templar cause they fit very much (and are important) for the world of thedas. but then at least make them more in depth. with bigger skilltrees. and also make them available from the beginning but not put all power into them and also into other combat trees.
i liked the reaver really much and the idea of using dragon blood but i am a bit bored to see the coolest warrior class with most dmg being the "bad guy" specialisation. i am bore of champion specialisation.
i liked and didn't like the rogue classes. i was always a fan of the assassin skills. sera's tree was strong but boring. varrics felt weak and wasn't to my liking at all.
if old classes should come back i hope that:
- Battlemage, Arcane Warrior, (Duelist), (Berserker), Assassin, Rift Mage and Necromancer will come back. Templar i guess has to come back. Archer class could be the in pics teased magic archer - which basically could be a more interesting and badass version of sera's archer skill tree. Blood Mage would be cool too in my opinion. - Maybe we get some different perspective on this type of magic in DA4. Shapeshifter could be a really damn cool skill tree but was totally underwhelming in Morrigans skill tree. So i would love to see shapeshifter back but cooler and with more depth to it.
so maybe something like that:
Warrior:
Aggressive Class - maybe a mix between Berserker, Reaver 1 and something for good guys this time? Or work more with rage let the dragon blood make him more resistent to magic and or poison?
Templar (obviously) - rename maybe to Venatori Hunter?
„Arcane Warrior“ - basically a warrior who can wild certain magic and is therefore the opposite of Templars.
maybe something like champion (maybe called Chevalier? grey warden skill tree?)
Mage:
Fade Mage (similar to rift mage/force mage)
Necromancer
Battle mage/Magic Archer
Shapeshifter/Druide? there could be many passive for resistances regarding the creatures you are choosing.
Rogue:
Aggressive „weak point“ Assassin/Duelist
Magic Archer (again I know but an archer shooting with elemental arrows?)
Bard or some sort of Sirene/pirate class?
Ranger/Shadow?
you could obviously also mix some classes like assassin and duelist etc.
I really like and support LadyofNemesis thoughts/opinion even inspired me to change my comment a bit ^^

Put me on the list of people who want a support class baack for mages. Barrier spam was dull as dirt and just healing by a different name. I like to stand back and do crowd control, buff my companions, and keep my rogues on their feet while they backstab and harrass the mooks trying to kill my tank.
Make archers and mages have some melee capability, please. There's a sword on the end of my staff--why can't I swing it at the people who are standing right in front of me? Why is my archer physically incapable of whacking someone in the head with her bow or stabbing them with an arrow? Give ranged classes a knock-back ability so they can scamper out of range like any sensible person that regularly engages in combat.
Failing that, give me back a second weapon set I can switch to on the fly (and the tactics setup to help my companions figure out how to do so in a timely fashion).

I'd love a mage support specialization with abilities based on healing, debuffs, crowd control glyphs etc. Imagine a hybrid of the Creation and Arcane trees from DA2. And while not a specialization, since we're going to - spooky- Tevinter please bring back the Entropy skill tree in it's full form.

My thoughts have evolved a little, though some remain the same Mage • Blood Magic, because Tevinter • Arcane Warrior/Battle Mage (unless they make that a whole class) • A Spirit controller or channeler (such as a more unique Necromancer, a Spirit Healer or something new). Solas is using spirits, I think it would be fun if that was something the pc could use against him. • Justicar - it could be cool to learn an anti mage spec from the Justicars (mages who investigate illegal magic)
Warrior • Spirit Warrior - as the games magical warrior spec instead of Templar, i love the whole idea of this spec: attracting and treating with a spirit to lend you some of its power. Tevinter feels like a great place to use it due to the lack of magic stigma (whilst there's no lyrium using Templars). Plus similar to my mage suggestion - going against solas with spirits of justice and Valor at your back sounds sweet. The awakening spec was mostly defensive with one aoe talent, but that was Justices version, i imagine it would be different depending on the spirit/s. • Champion - more focused on the buff/debuff abilities, I like the 'terrify your enemies into making a mistake and inspire your allies to greater heights' thing. • DPS Spec - unless they're planning on doing something fun with the Dragon blood connection, maybe give reaver a rest and bring back Berserker? With the ambassadoria and that big proving like arena there's probably plenty of dwarves who can teach that around.
Rogue • Assassin/Shadow Hybrid - i like marking and taking advantage of enemies weakness but i like shadow's decoys and threat reduction to. I'd like a spec that focus on distracting and confusing your enemy as much as killing them. Also an ability to disguise yourself as a guard you just killed to get past other hostiles would be SWEET, and very appropriate for an assassin. • infiltrator - training to deflect magic and silence mages from casting (presumably with dodging and precision strikes) and attacks that do more damage to mages (presumably through lyrium poison or something? Tallis' version of this spec did not explain the how) pc version could use a rename. This would seem like an appropriate skill set for the Magekillers of the comics, but Marius is a warrior... Maybe they'd make a version of this for warrior instead? Makes more sense for a rogue though. • Tempest was fun, some variation on this Alchemy/bomb type spec could be good. • A legionnaire scout-like spec - for a tougher rogue, perhaps with some wilderness type abilities, so closer to Scout Harding perhaps? (unless they make a warrior/rogue hybrid class)

As gameplay DAO and DAI was good. If we get DA2 i need a no die option.
Mage: - Blood mage - Nature mage - Knight-Enchanter
Rogue: - Ranger (with animal companion) - Assassin - Rogue with heavy weapons
Warrior: - Magekiller - fighter with no weapons (monk sort of) - ?
No specialization quest, no lerning from companions.
