The Qunari, every time they show up something interesting is bound to happen. I dream of being able to play a Qunari loyal to the Qun.

There are a lot of factions/groups I like so a lot have probably been accidentally left out. - Legion of the Dead - Friends of Red Jenny - The rebel mages / the Mages Collective / the Mage Underground - Grey Wardens - The Avvar - The Chasind - The Dalish Forgot Legion of the Dead. I do like that group a lot!

Wardens used to be great, but post DAO they've gone downhill. DAI really made them look like idiots, can't wait to see what they'll end up in Retribution.

Wardens used to be great, but post DAO they've gone downhill. DAI really made them look like idiots, can't wait to see what they'll end up in Retribution. siege of adamant it's cool, but if analyzed with a cold mind, piece by piece imo instead of wardens should have been the venatori or directly a demon army, that was made from the venatori, wardens in DAI should have been reduced to just not appear at all, or simply do like in DA2 and made some appear doing their own things and good bye. But no, they had to reduce wardens, specially orlesian wardens to shit, the only mentioned wardens that behave as they should are the ferelden wardens, that went silent and disappeared. (I know i'm a good commander ) For DA4 i really hope wardens don't appear and more when all seems will be around Solas i mean Salos or Salosas anyway the egghead you know him, imo grey wardens plots are very interesting and important to be left in second plain, and more there is not any sing of a blight coming out soon, so let's leave wardens for DA5 or 6 if the franchise survives that long. Obviously imo of course

Let me see: Mage Collective - I'm little sad they were demoted into side-quest givers, as independent mages who try to govern themselves by Chantry standards (but without Chantry) seem like an interesting concept Fog Warriors - they sound awesome. I hope we're gonna meet them in DA4 (or better - there will be FW-based specialization) Legion of Dead - they look like a funny bunch of hard drinking, Darkspawn killing buddies Antivan Crows - killing hunting targets, sex, drugs, rock'n'roll, tattoos, you get to see the world... Felicisima Armada - because pirates are simply awesome. I liked the Mage Collective but it would seem they stopped existing after DAO. I mean we were running around in Ferelden in DAI and never bumped into them once. May be they had all been killed off by the Templars. It still exists in Inquisition. Your Trainer (Rift Mage) claims she was send by them to study Rifts.

I liked the Loyalist mages... not Vivienne though. Honestly, Loyalist mages have the most sensical view as long as they're watched by good Templar's not the abusive ones.
I do want to know how the teviniter circles work though or rather see it for myself without any "we dont do blood magic" propaganda. I think it would be pretty cool.

I really want to know more about the Executors. Ever since we had that mystery war table mission to deal with "Those Across the Sea" I've been dying to know more about them. dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/ExecutorsI also what to know what's up with the Kal-Sharok dwarves who are somehow tainted like the Grey Wardens. dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Kal-Sharok

There are a lot of factions/groups in DA that I find interesting, but some of my favorites are:
The Dalish The Ancient Elves The Templars Andrastianism as a whole, with all its factions The Grey Wardens
A poll might be interesting for this thread.

I like the stranger groups: Red Jennies, Mage Collective, Blackstone Irregulars. I also have a soft spot for the Carta for some reason (maybe, because both my Brosca and my Cadash belonged to them and I'm a rogue kind of player) YES! Me too. All of the above. I also love the Legion of the Dead, the Antivan Crows, and the Dwarven Merchants Guild. Culturally, I really love Orzammar, the Avvar tribes, Tevinter, the Qunari (and their Tal-Vashoth/Vashoth counterparts), Kirkwall, and Ferelden.

Legion of the Dead,
I'll never forget my first encounter with them in the Dead Trenches in Origins, and I love their cool armor, my Warden warriors always wore it.

Every faction/group in Thedas scares me lol.
I stay away from group mentality in real life too. It never ends well. Certainly never ends well in Thedas.
Dragon Age has taught me to dislike elves *gasp*, dwarves and their horrible cast system as well, hate mages and their crazy retarded rebellion. Hate the French and pretty much every other country and their psycho leaders. Lose respect for the Wardens. Never liked the oppressive Qun in the first place.
I guess I like the lying Chantry a bit more now that Cassandra is in charge... *g* And now that mages have become morons I like the Templars a bit better...
I uh... think I'm in the wrong thread... ;D
I'll see myself out...

There are only three factions in Thedas I actually like:
- Grey Wardens (before BioWare tossed them the idiot ball) - Templars (after we get rid of their idiot ball) - Legion of the Dead (free of idiot balls, unless you disagree with the concept, then they have a permanent idiot ball)
I dislike the Qun, the Dalish and the idiot faction among the mages, and don't really care much about everyone else.

I like the Grey Wardens. They seem so much like the Night's Watch from Game of Thrones. The Legion of the Dead also fits on this.
But the ones I like the most are the qunari. They remind me so much of anarchists/communists. They live ain a society almost free of hierarchies, and although they did have a chain of command, there is clearly no qunari "state". Everybody is cared for, everybody is important, everybody deserves respect and to be fed. And yet to achieve this state, they see repression and violence as necessary, just as many communists and anarchists, and that may lead to oppression. The way qunari lead with mages is really terrible, as is their sexism and their "mental control" in their temples (forgot the name of the guys who do that), but the philosophy is really interesting.
The arishok was the villain I most liked in DA. Although I had to stop him, I really respected him. Everybody was provoking him and killing his people only because they existed until they pushed him to his limit. He really was an interesting character, not interested in "I'm crazy and I think I'm a god, hahaha, bow before me".
I hate the chantry. Too bad there wasn't an option to destroy it in DA:I, but at least with Leliana as Divine they aren't so bad.
