Don't mind me, gotta vent: I'm not actually trying to create a controversial thread, but I'm pissed at Bethesda. When I calmly and rationally explain in their forum why releasing a widespread game-breaking bug in an update that you refuse to roll back or fix is douchey, they moderate me and delete my posts. But they can't delete this post, so: - For releasing a bug that breaks settlements and main quests across all three systems... - For blaming the game-breaking bug on mods, despite the fact that they never released mods for PS 4 which has the bug just like everyone else... - For refusing to roll back or fix an update that rendered their software completely useless... - For refusing to allow people to even discuss the issue in their forum... Bethesda:    Okay, I feel better now. You can ignore this. Or not. I played Skyrim quite a few years ago and it was one of the first games I bought when I got a Playstation in May so um the singleplayer one oh your one of the peasants are you...... pc gaming is where its at / btw I had beta access to TESO and got 3 months of free access to the game once it got released but honestly I stopped logging in after the third week every update screwed something else up .... and to be honest if it wasn't for the sp game having been so awesomely easy to tweak I wouldn't of bothered with it after the first play through...

skyrim has been screwed on the ps3 since the start...or so I heard. there are save file issues, I think. luckily, I don't play that version. It isn't bad on the ps3. The only time I had issues is the game would start freezing when I get to higher levels. What I did is deleted a few saves. That helped. |

I love Skyrim to pieces
well I have 360/xbone + pc, I mostly play on pc and ive had skyrim for ages as well, I think I managed to get around 700 hours into it before I got bored and did something else, me3 I still play now n again and like dai I have over 2000 hours in them heck I even managed to suffer tw3 for about 200 hours and i'm still in dxmkd but rather bored after 70 hours, I only bought he xbox /xbone for the halo games lol, I actually dislike console gaming never did like it ever since I first played on the c64 and had so much better control than that found on the arcade machines.... although I did like the gun simulators.... |

Cool. themikefestI think they'd fix things if they could. They patched the Xbox and PC versions fairly regularly. They're still patching FO4 from time to time. That's better than EA/Bioware at least. They give up on their games far sooner. |

I think we can all agree Bethesda is WAYY too dependant on modders for their games to be great.
I think we can all agree they need to fix their damn engine.
I think they are losing their edge. Open worlders are common, and some do it with less bugs and more fun than Bethesda.

I have a lot to say about Bethesda post Morrowind and it's not great. I have more bad things to say about FO3 and Oblivion era. For some reason, Skyrim, while dumbing things down, was more enjoyable. And tbh, I didn't even play Morrowind's main story for years. This was before GTA, so I was just enamored with playing a psychopath. |
