There was mention of an Asari being one of the accusers, so it could be that Aria used her ability to direct all the vote towards Romice. The only other role that could do that would be Charr and there was mention of the fact that the person who started the bandwagon used "honeyed and poetic speech".
Either way it would seem someone wanted to save one or both of the people in the tie. If it was Aria then she could have been in the tie and wanting to save herself. If Charr it seems more likely they were outside the tie trying to save someone within it.

I'm sorry, romouse. That was a surprise. I'm still learning the new roles, but I agree, that it is probably Aria or Chart. If Aria, I would think, it was OG, who seemed to be highly suspicious of romice, if Charr, it could have been anyone. Maybe a spy (evil Aria?) catched romice hint and acted.

Sorry Basia, I hadn't updated my notes and had forgotten you had swung it against OG. So you are probably right about OG, unless OG is the object of Charr's devotion. Then that would account for why he stepped in to save her and why he opted for Romice because his infatuation had expressed such suspicion towards her. It would also rule out you and Catilina for the role because both of you voted for OG.
In fact the more I read the night time account, the more I am convinced that OG did not save herself but it was Charr that did so.

That makes sense. Then the young woman who knew the truth would be the object of Char's affection.

Hey guys, I've gotten sick recently, which means this night will last a little bit longer than expected. Hopefully by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I'll be better so I can wrap things up and move on to the next day. Until then, I'll be on bed duty.

Thanks you guys! I feel a lot better now, and I've wrapped things up, so let us move on to the nightly results.
---------------------------------------------------------------
...The Second Night...
Inside the infamous club of Afterlife, most patrons cannot separate the blurred cycles of time. Their slurred states allowed them to only focus on what they were experiencing in the moment. The loud and rhythmic beats pulsing through the place did not help matters either. And the dizzying neon lights illuminating through parts of the nightclub was already giving a certain marine a headache. He wanted to give himself a bit of a break before going to his next assignment with his team, but it seems he has already regretted his decision in stopping by in the Afterlife. This definitely wasn't his scene. Surprisingly however, it seems it was a certain VI drone's scene, as the VIP section was packed full of party goers. From what the marine noticed, it seemed the drone was hosting some sort of raucous party. It was more than likely the party he was invited to in his omni-tool. The party seemed to be a roaring success, given how the VIP section could be heard where the marine was mingling. This was the main reason why the marine was reluctant in mingling within that section of the club, however.
The marine even noticed someone being engrossed in a conversation they were having with the drone outside of the VIP area. The figure speaking with the drone seemed to be of some sort of importance; the marine could definitely tell they knew how to defend themselves with a weapon. However, they did not seem they were distracted by the drone either. If the figure had any sort of pressing matters, it was not dire enough for them to blow off the current drone they were speaking with or become irritated with them. An asari then appeared outside of the VIP section towards the pair. If the marine could have guessed, it seems that the asari was more than likely the drone's owner. She looked apologetic, but the figure seemed to quickly put the asari at ease with whatever troubled her. As he was keeping an eye on the trio, the keen observer also noticed that the asari and the other figure were quite familiar with one another, as if they already knew each other. Both of them were in mirth, possibly influenced by the spirits they were drinking in hand. However, from what the marine knew of this particular asari, it seems as though she knew just about anyone.
Just when the male quarian was about to call it a night, a mysterious silhouette appeared in his vicinity. She was eyeing him. She was also shrouded in the club's darkness. Has she always been there? Before he could even leave or react, the silhouette slowly stepped forward, unmasking herself in front of the marine.
"I don't think I've ever seen you around here before." The speaker was asari, and had eyes that gave the marine a certain uneasiness in his gut.
"Well,uh, I'm not from around here, ma'am," The marine replied. The asari chuckled at his response.
"I can tell. You know, why don't we talk somewhere a little more quiet? Get to know each other better?" There was a special glint in the asari's eye when she spoke to the marine. But before the quarian can make his initial refusal, he found himself following the asari's footsteps and into the darkness of the brassy night life.
----------------
"You guys have to listen to me, that man did not throw that smoke device from last night. He's completely innocent from any wrong doing," The young woman said to one of the Illium detectives within the department. The detective didn't seem that interested in what she was saying, and was more than likely thinking of other matters. Her partner on the other hand, was listening from across his desk.
"Really? And how do you know this?" The attentive detective asked.
"Because I threw that device, alright? I had to," Oriana said. This finally piqued the other detective's interest.
"It seemed like someone was about to get attacked or even murdered. There were these suspicious looking people that were keeping a watch on them. I felt like I had to do something," Oriana said, "Now can you please release that poor guy you arrested? I feel so bad for what happened, he really didn't do anything wrong,"
"Well first, what did these suspicious folks look like? What were they doing beforehand? What did the supposed victim look like?"
Oriana provided a detailed description and account for what happened for the detectives that seemed to satisfy them. The same thing could not be said about the young woman however, as she was still worried about the frail man currently in custody within the department.
"So, is that enough? Or is that man somehow still a suspect?"
"Nah, I suppose we actually don't have that much to hold him any longer," The dozing detective said with a shrug, "Not to mention that crowd was so bloodthirsty we kind of had to arrest him just so he could live another day in this city,"
With that, Oriana's conscious was little more clear, but not completely.
"Okay, good, and what about all the stuff I told you? Do you think it might help you in catching the real criminals here?"
"It might, but honestly, I wouldn't hold your breath kid," The attentive detective replied, "Odds are, if what you said is true, those folks are probably long gone from this planet at this point,"
Oriana sighed in defeat. She knew they were probably right. Which means there was nothing she can do at the moment, but to just hope she might be able to help catch them before any real damage could be done. She just needed to figure out their next move. As she walked away from the police station, Oriana's omni-tool beeped from a notification. Oriana checked her inbox and discovered a party invitation, and noticed the destination. This invitation was obviously a mass invite towards a lot of people. Perhaps the criminals were invited? Or perhaps they made the invitation? Oriana knitted her eyebrows in contemplation. A big party is taking place in a nightclub, full of people who probably wouldn't witness a murder or even tell the authorities if they did. The lead was incredibly small, Oriana had to admit, but it was a lead.
----------------------- As the agents mingled into the infectious and raw energy of Afterlife, the party in the VIP section was still in full swing. Inebriated dancers on the dance floor were still dazed, and the spirits were still flowing at the bars. This was the perfect spot for their next move. Loads of people in one place. Yet most of them were not even aware of what time it was, let alone aware of a nearby crime. They needed to target someone this time who would not be missed, however. And if they were to target someone of importance, discretion would not hurt them either.
The agents did decide to go for discretion this time around. They can not repeat the same performance from the other night. Too much noise will eventually get them caught. They also devised a plan to split up, confidant in the fact that they will be able to take on any drunken target in the night club.
As the indoctrinated split amongst themselves, one agent noticed a particular figure hanging in the dark corners of the club. The agent smiled a lecherous grin. This one was obviously a loner, and to top it all off, this agent have heard about this particular asari's notoriety. The agent knew this target wouldn't be easy to take down, but it would definitely be the most discrete kill so far.
The agent eyed the asari for several moments, but seemed to have lost her in a blink of an eye. An hour passed, and the agent was about to pick another target, when they finally noticed the illusive asari yet again. This time it appears the asari was slinking into the back of the club. The agent knew they had to make their move before they lose track of her again. The agent steadily paced their way towards the alleyways behind the club. The loud pulsing sounds of Afterlife steadily becoming faint; The agent and the asari's footsteps however, started to become deafening. Other footsteps were within the agent and the asari's footsteps, but the agent could not focus on them due to their driven focus on their target. As the indoctrinated spy finally pulled out a knife to make their kill, the asari suddenly stopped dead in her tracks. Before the agent could come any closer, the asari turned around towards them and gave them a devious smirk. Before they could react, someone from behind suddenly grabbed the agent by a chokehold, dashing their chances of making their kill.
"Easy there, we don't want to choke this one out," the asari told their partner. The male quarian responded in a dazed manner and with a slight cough, "They can definitely help me out here in the long run,"
The agent tried to give a retort, but the dazed marine's chokehold was still too restricting for them to even speak.
"From what I can tell, you seem to enjoy the hunt as much as I do... which is intriguing," The asari said as she bit her lip in indecision. "We also seem to share a common goal in mind. So I think I'll let you go for now. But if you try to kill me again, I won't hold back next time,"
Morinth motioned the marine to let the agent go, and the controlled marine did as she commanded. As they were released from the quarian's grasp, The agent gasped for air.
"I'll let you go back to your friends, but I'm sure we'll meet again very soon," Morinth winked at the agent as she slinked back into Omega's darkness, leaving the wobbly quarian behind. Moments passed, and the agent finally gathered their bearings after their encounter with the deadly Ardat Yakshi. As the agents eventually went back to Afterlife to meet up, they hoped that their initial plan to split up would prove to be more fortuitous than the previous night in Illium. Only time will tell.

I updated my notes and did go over the narrative again. It sounded, as if Morinth had controlled Kal'Reegar? SO we do have Oriana, Morinth, Glyph and Kal'Reegar in the narrative.

SO we do have Oriana, Morinth, Glyph and Kal'Reegar in the narrative. I'd agree with that assessment, plus it is likely we also have Charr, based off what happened in the narrative for the day round.

That's true but OG may have been telling the truth when she said she voted for Romice because at the time she didn't have any votes and didn't want to create a bandwagon on someone else. A hero could also have been genuinely suspicious of Romice for putting her in the line of fire.
I'm inclined to trust you Cati because you moved your vote from me when I had endangered myself by not voting for you last round but I'd still like to hear from other people before committing to the same person as you and after my experience with Dragon last round, I am wary about voting for anyone who might simply retaliate against me.

So far so predictable with simple retaliatory votes. I am still not sure about adding to anyone's vote, yet voting for someone else is just likely going to increase the number of people with single votes, particularly if they place a retaliatory vote on me, so I think I'll wait and see what a few more do before making a decision.
