Two more web published stories from JK Rowling by the end of the year.... Just stop, Jo. Don't pull a George Lucas! I dunno, I'm kinda into all the encyclopedic stuff she's put out on pottermore over the years, and I think these stories are just gonna be more of that ...at least I hope so. I was a little iffy on her short fiction on Ilvermorny, though. It didn't really feel like her writing. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't my favorite, either.

I mean, didn't she say once upon a time that she would like to write an encyclopedia of all the HP lore in her head and be rid of it? I'd be up for that.....but as far as changing Harry, Ron, or Hermione by adding more to their story, I think is detrimental. Marauder stories or stories about Albus and Scorpius that DON't mess with time..... I'd be up for that.

I'm like 99% sure that The Cursed Child is the last story involving the trio. She said at press events that she's not doing any more Harry. I agree that she should leave them alone now. I'm happy with what we have as long as I pretend Cursed Child doesn't exist, haha.
I've wanted an official encyclopedia since the series ended. I hate that Pottermore has become a weird digital replacement for a physical book, but I'll take it. I've got a background in graphic design, so I have an idea for compiling all the articles together and printing them into a really nice leather-bound book for myself one day.
I'd go crazy over a marauder story! There's some great fan fiction out there that scratches that itch, though. I'm at a point where I'm fine considering The Shoebox Project as canon until proven otherwise.

Unrelated to the books and movies, but I was curious to see if anyone here lives in or near a town that holds an annual Harry Potter festival? There is a college not too far from my home that has been holding a Harry Potter Weekend every October for the past 5 years. It's fun and the town gets involved with the college in changing the store fronts and restaurants to fit the Harry Potter theme. There are usually guest speakers, a Quidditch game, actors portraying the characters, cosplay, quizzo and pub crawls. I was talking about it with a client today who told me that her friend was going to be traveling from 5 states away to check it out. Anyway, I just was really surprised to hear that someone would travel for this and wanted to see if anyone else lives in or near a town that does something similar?

I'd like HP more if only the wikia I escaped from wasn't a HP RP wiki. Man, that place did a number on me - I can't think of HP without thinking of how rude and judgemental those people were. (sorry for that rant, lol). But anyhow, I do love Scorpios the most in the new book - he's so non stereotypical of a Slytherin, I love him.
