Does it make any difference if Sera has a bow or dual daggers when she activates a Thousand Cuts ?
Looking at the stats, Dual Daggers does way more damage than a bow but does that apply when using her focus ability?

Looking at the stats, Dual Daggers does way more damage than a bow but does that apply when using her focus ability? You can use bow or dagger, and in fact if you freeze frame the animation, you'll see she has daggers, even if you are wielding a bow. I believe only the main-hand dagger is used for the damage computation in Thousand Cuts, so compare on that basis. And only compare damage (not DPS), attack and criticals. I'm not sure if flanking bonuses apply or not, probably not. Plug the numbers in the combat equation and see what you come up with. Without flanking bonus, I think bow and dagger are actually close, neither one is like 2x better than the other, assuming you can select from the best schematics available and craft. If flanking bonus does apply, then dagger is the clear winner, specifically the Bosun's Blade. Combat Equation is here: web.archive.org/web/20160731073039/https://forum.bioware.com/topic/543549-guide-documentation-for-combat-mechanics/
