Mass Effect and BioWare could end up in Microsoft's lap soon

So here's the latest big story/rumor.

According to one paragraph in this article, Microsoft has recently looked into a potential buyout of EA. You heard that right, MS wants to own the devil of video games, and that is interesting as fuck to me.

If that happens, rejoice. Being bad at developing alongside japanese companies, I feel like MS has at least understood the need for stuff that isn't merely the highest profitable shit, like getting Bandai to show off DBfighterZ at their conference and despite all they did endorse Scalebound until it failed. It's weird seeing this scenario when I feel like EA is the bigger behemoth with the practices and killer IP that they own and how sparse MS's output has been lately. It would mean BioWare games would likely become pc/xbox only again and somehow I don't have a problem with it, despite being a PS4 user. It's also interesting to note that Mass Effect 1 was published under Microsoft and that Casey Hudson did in fact just work as creative director for the company before going back to BioWare. Who knows, maybe this is a transition that is already being primed for, or maybe it'll never be taken any further.
