Yep, but 10% is still better then 0% if you don't get the shot.

Heh. People would be more healthy with the removal of a certain type of lectin from their diet. The particular one related to their blood type only:

People who were perfectly healthy pre-flu are dying left and right with this one. It's nasty.
Haven't seen it mentioned in an article yet, but it's likely due to cytokine storm/hypercytokinemia. Not much they can do for it either.

Just eat healthy and your immune gets you through all winter no problem. The stuff in today's flu shots, not to mention today's foods, are pretty questionable. Can't attest to flu shots, but can for the food I eat. Truth. It's kind of a dumb myth people have about "preventative medicines" or herbal remedies. Also, breathing through only your nose or other such silly nonsense doesn't make a difference. (Truth is, some small exposure to other people's microbes can actually STRENGTHEN your immunity) Wash your hands & eat nutritious meals every day. Your immune system should do the rest

Is was ill for only a few days this time around, but more people stayed home sick than usual this time around.
Flu shots are usually just for old and weak people in my country.

. Also, breathing through only your nose or other such silly nonsense doesn't make a difference. It does make quite a difference, if you are in the mall and people sneeze and cough all around you it makes perfect sense not to pick up that shit with your mouth wide open. In the nose most of the small droplets will catch on the nose hair and be dealt with way more effectively. Chances to contract a disease via nose is much lower. Yes but every immune system is different, some people simply are prone to certain diseases because thats their immune systems weakness. You cant have a system that works on all germs equally well, there will be genetic weak points.

Last time I had it was two years ago. Prior to that it was 10-15 years ago. But when it comes to the common cold, I get those every damn year.

If you still get the common cold, you're not eating healthy enough to boost immune system. If you can boost your immune system with proper diet, you can survive two roommates constantly getting sick all winter. All that will happen is sneeze fits for 10-15 minutes and thereafter your immune system kills the common cold in the bud.

Yeah...i had it and it felt like i was on my death bed...s**t is no joke. I called out two Mondays in a row...the first time i felt like i was getting better mid-week, then my health just took a nosedive...fever...aches..etc. And the wifey keeps the hot meals on point..vegetables/proteins..etc. and i stay cranked up on the O.J....still that flu did a number on me and i RARELY get sick...this thang was nasty this year. I just try to stay away from everybody....especially those folks that say..."oh this?...it's just allergies...*ah-choo*...*hack..cough..brrghallk*....yeah ok...get the f**k away from me with that s**t..... ......
