Still experimenting with my presentation a bit, what do you think of the new quote format? Stay tuned at the end for a brief look at all the conflicting sources on Dane’s timeline.
Also, first time using an actual clip from the games.
Next video is going to be about Luthias and the Ash Warriors

Good presentation!
The thing I've always been most curious about regarding the legend of Dane was the last three lines:
Thus was a bargain struck, And Dane the wolf pack served in wolfen form, And the werewolf to his family sped, as Dane, One year and a day all told. But some things cannot be repent, Some coinage cannot be unspent, When hearts are wagered, a fissure rent.
That suggests to me that the legend somehow ends in tragedy. Was Dane unable to return to his family? Did his wife come to love the werewolf more than the man? Was Hafter not actually Dane's son?

Though it actually makes me wonder if the werewolf killed Dane’s family and thus Dane by agreeing to this deal to save his own life condemned them. I do wish we could find out more about Dane’s story. It isn’t even particularly clear why he was hunting the dragon either.

The dragon was killing wolves and Dane was part of the pack at that time.

Was Dane unable to return to his family? Did his wife come to love the werewolf more than the man? Was Hafter not actually Dane's son? It could be a combination of the last two. There is an old Welsh legend where someone swaps places with another person who is married but refuses to sleep with the wife during his time as imposter. May be the werewolf wasn't so scrupulous in his ethics. He could have been more like Uther Pendragon who Merlin transformed to look like his rival so he could sleep with his wife and thus Arthur was conceived.

It's weird that there's all this association between wolves and sex in Dragon Age. Clearly the writers are on Team Jacob.

Next video is going to be about Luthias and the Ash Warriors I can't keep up with all the lore and the conflict but having parts presented in this manner is very entertaining to me. Loved hearing bits of the DAO soundtrack in the background and your voice goes well with the narrated content. Thanks for making these videos!

Commented on the YouTube page. New quote format looks good. Keep up the good work! I don't have a new topic to suggest -- honestly, at this point, I trust your selection judgment more than mine.

Good work again mate. The use of in-game footage was well done.
Also, I like your intro, how did you make it, out of curiosity?

Very interesting again. I think I'd go along with a previous poster and ponder whether Hafter was the werewolf's son, rather than Dane's - it would make a better story!
I must admit that I'd forgotten that Ferelden has two Arthurian-type myths regarding kings/champions who wander off, never to be seen again (Hafter and Calenhad) - and two Excalibur-type weapons that are lost (Yusaris and Nemetos)!
Thanks again and keep up the good work.
