What is for you'll the best game studio overall ? And can you tell us why and give us some examples of the games they made that you'll would probably love ? Is the love because of just one game that you would chose that studio or are there more or maybe all of the games of that same studio that you also love ? Is it for example Naughty Dogs ? Or maybe Bethesda ? Or one of the many other game studios ? I know some of the game studios have merged with bigger studios like Arkane with Bethesda or Bioware with EA but that does not mean that you cannot choose either one of those studios.

Well, it's really hard, all companies did something wrong at some point, that's why I'm not naming some like Bethesda or Bioware. But I'm gonna name 2:
CDProjekt Red. Yes, it may sound old, but to heck with it. I played all 3 Witcher games and what they did was great. Never shitted on the consumer by adding money grab DLC garbage either. So for now, they are my favorite.
Arkane Studios. Part of Bethesda I suppose, but not quite. They did only 3 games, but I loved all 3. The 2 Dishonoreds and Prey. I think they were different games, especially Prey. So for now I'm keeping them in the top 2 fav list.
I could name Valve because Half Life is my favorite franchise of all times, but I never liked Valve, I just liked those 2 games. So, no. Also Valve focuses now on pure business, not making games. I could also name GSC who made the STALKER series. That was such a different franchise. But the company kinda died and the owner refused to sell the IP, so no much love from my part for them, just the games.
In short, I'll keep CDPR and Arkane only for now.

I'll go with CD Project for now, because so far they've never let me down. Let's just hope that they won't turn to the dark side of the AAA game industry with CyberPunk 2077.

Bethesda and Bioware are high up in my list, but mostly for a few games. Overall it has to be Nintendo. What an amount of exceptional, standard-setting games they've been delivering over decades is just insane.

Quantic dream. They do a great story and are one of the few devs to really give some meaning to you're decisions/choices. As for examples from them, you've got beyond 2 souls, the upcoming Detroit become human game, heavy rain, Fahrenheit and a few others. Beyond 2 souls is my favorite at the moment but really looking forward to Detroit BH.
As for a #2 (especially since quantic dream only does like one game every 5 years), easily Bethesda. These guys didn't use to be close to one of my favorites but they've earned the spot after being consistently good and just holding up better than other devs that used to be my favorites or a likeable group. I can put HUNDREDS into just about any game they put out. They also revived the doom franchise so there's that (i'd give credit to ID software, but they fumbled with it for so long till they got help). Do we need examples for Bethesda? Bethesda is so big and popular it'd be hard to believe no ones seen/played/heard about their games ranging from the fallout franchise, elder scrolls franchise, their revival of doom and Wolfenstein, and far much more IPs they could toy around with. The impressive thing with Bethesda is they used to be a strictly dev only group but they've far outgrown that role to where they're a dev/publisher all at once, something that could probably benefit many studios if they could ever achieve it.

Obsidian Entertainment (Alpha Protocol, Tyranny, Pillar of Eternity), SuperGiant Games (Bastion, Transistor, Pyre) and Bioware (BG, DA and ME series, Jade Empire). All of them make high-quality art/products/games, the former two being independent studios.
I do wholeheartedly support CDPR's "No-DRM" position, but their products are not something I like. On the opposite, FromSoftware has a great game series, Dark Souls (Demon's Souls and Bloodborne are console exclusives), but I know nothing about their stance on DRM.

There is no best game studio, imo. Game studios don't succeed all the time. Sometimes they come and go, at times leaving behind the gems of their work as a testament. Studios like ;
Virgin with the Dune game. Westwood with the first three Command and Conquer games and Blade Runner. Interplay with Free Space II Funcom with The Longest Journey. LucasArts with The Curse of Monkey Island, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, Star Wars Dark Forces, SW Jedi Knight DF II, SW Mystery of the Sith, SW Battlefront.
At the moment, the game studios that's doing well in my book is Arkane Studios, Daedalic Entertainment, Telltale Games, Larian Studios.

Atlus and Obsidian, they¨'ve concocted some of the best western and Japanese RPG I've ever played. I don't think there are better studios I've appreciated more than them except Sega's Yakuza Studio.

If we are talking studios that are active today, CD Projekt RED would be very far up there, definitely. I consider all their games so far great, their community communication is decent, so is their view on DLCs and DRM. Great studio all around.
BioWare is still up there as well, despite the fact that their games suffered a loss in quality lately IMO. Still, both DA: Inquisition and ME: Andromeda are still very fun games and BW just gets a whole heap of bonus points for pretty much everything that came before.
Eidos Montreal made the last two Deus Ex games and did a bang-on job with both of them. From what I gather, most of the problems I had with Mankind Divided were due to Square Enix interference more than the studio itself, so not their fault. I just wish Square would just let them work on the desperately needed sequel to Mankind Divided instead of shuffling all their studios around.
Blizzard is just objectively awesome, despite the fact that not all of their games are my cup of tea, they just make gamesof extremely high quality and one has to respect that.
Obsidian gets bonus points for their older games like KotOR 2, Alpha Protocol and FO:NV. Personally, I don't like that they were forced into the crowd funded retro corner. I wish their awesome story writers would still work on more cinematic games like Alpha Protocol. That's the kind that I like, never could get into the isometric games that much.
Larian Studios just seems like a bunch of cool guys. Just read the dev diary that comes with the GOG version of Ego Drakonis. It's hillarious.
Piranha Bytes had a bit of a down time but IMO with Elex, they are almost back to their good old Gothic 2 days. Good for them and me. Maybe not the greatest developer out there but one of my personal favorites for sure.
Cloud Imperium Games: Don't flog me yet. I just love their super open development. Love to watch all their videos about Star Citizen. I also think they also did a bunch of great tech stuff already, that really may bring gaming forward in the long term. Will it all work out? Not sure yet but I really really hope so. Just having the balls to go that extra mile is great though, so I put them in this list.
Bethesda certainly made some great games, that I loved to play but they are further down here because IMO, their games are a bit same-y.
As for stodios that don't exist anymore: Westwood: Fantastic games, constantly high quality and a pretty incredible range. RTS (Dune, C&C), RPG/action adventures (Lands of Lore, Nox) or all out adventure games (Blade Runner), they were masters of it all.
Origin: Couple of real classics: Crusader games, Wing Commander, Ultima. Definitely a studio that defined the 80s and 90s.

My childhood will always belong to Nintendo, but I'd have to put BioWare, CDPR, Rockstar and Bethesda as my top. I love HZD so much that I want to mention Guerrilla, but it's their only game that I really care about at all so I guess they can't count.

Before ME3, it was Bioware no questions asked, with Bethesda a close second.
Now, here in the present, I'm not really sure. CDPR has great community management and is very consumer friendly and Witcher 2 was fun and 3 was just a masterpiece of the modern era. However Witcher 1 imo is just borderline unplayable. I managed to finish it, but my goodness was it rough. Unfortunately, I cannot give the nod to CD for just 1 game really. They also have a nasty habit of providing false choice to the player. Pretty much every single choice in Witcher 1 and 2 meant basically nothing, and might as well have never happend. I simply cannot overlook that as RPG games that offer choices. If the developers are unwilling to make choices have lasting impact, then stop giving them to us, imo.
Bethesda is still top 3 atm, but is risking dropping out of my top 5 entirely if their next game disappoints me. Fallout 4 was a massive disappointment to me, and it has me very worried.
Bioware regained some faith with me with DAI, then promptly lost it again with Andromeda. Yes I know, different teams etc etc. But the Bioware management allowed Andromeda to flounder for half a decade, so they are still ultimately to blame imo. However, they made my all time favorite thing in the universe, ME1 and 2. they made KOTOR, Jade Empire, DAO, 2 and Inquisition. I love and cherish almost every single one of them and comprises easily at least 10k combined hours between them all.
Obsidian is still good, and they reportedly do have a new Game in the works that is not a Crowd Funded indie thing again, so time will tell.
At this point in time, I would label
1. Naughty Dog (lifetime catalog)
2. Larian Studios (funny guys, mostly consistent quality)
3. Bethesda (Everything minus FO4)

It used to be Bioware, simply because they created most of my favorite games but due to their recent track record another studio has taken first place. And thats 4A games. I'm a big fan of the Metro games, Metro 2033, Metro 2034-Last Light and their Redux versions were nearly flawless and such a unique high quality experience. Their next installment Metro : Exodus which is going to be released this fall looks like another big winner.
That being said I am clearly not a studio fanboy, if somebody creates a good game I buy it, I don't really care who makes it, I don't care about the political agendas, the moral orientations of the studios, that drama does not matter to me. Product quality is all I care about.

My most beloved games are by Bioware and second comes Nintendo.
I haven't gotten into the Witcher games yet(i'm planning to read the books which sit in my pile of shame first),but CD Projekt Red seems to only get praised by the community ,so it would seem possible for said studio to become on of my favourites in the future.
