They can contain figs too, so might not be too off Are they kinda like a cookie? They sound kinda tasty. I hear that Vegemite stuff is made from brewers yeast...it doesn't sound too tasty to me. Hmm, I wouldn't call it a cookie, more like a Nussrolle, (nut roll*?) but the nut filling is replaced by pears (and other imcredients). *The only translation I found for Nussrolle was "almond croissant" wtf a "Rolle" isn't a croissant! Then you'd call a cinnamon roll a croissant too. Also Nussrollen are mostly made with hazlenuts, not almonds.

...I don't think Canada cares... *snicker* but I'll let it know. (you have no idea how much this made me laugh...thanks Dragon. ) Would love to take the credit, but it's a long-standing DQ joke. The Shaper of Memories (aka lynroy) could probably tell you who made it first. This goes way back to BSN Prime and threats others would make to report certain persons or posts in the forum at large. It began with Donk and I writing posts pretending to cry to the mods about the each other. Over time it was shortened to just 'reported'. *drinks* So I woke up able to sing bass today, and I'm a soprano. Mind my voice is a deeper than your regular soprano already, but when I get sick it dives deeper. I definitely don't sounds like a woman right now. *drinks* Mmmmm delicious carbonation feels good on my throat.

From the english wikipedia article: "Alongside dried pears the filling also contains raisins, walnuts and other dried fruit such as apples or figs. The filling is flavoured with candied fruit, coriander, cinnamon, star anise, anise, clove and some sort of alcohol.
The difference between "Birnbrot" and "Birnweggen" lies in the way of preparation and the geographical prevalence: Birnbrot is prepared by mixing the filling with dough and surrounding it with a casing of yeast dough while Birnweggen are made by spreading the filling on a sheet of yeast dough and rolling it like a roulade. I need all the alcohol to not murder half of my coworkers today 🤗. I hear the internet access is pretty decent in jail these days. And they have pay tv. I don't have pay tv. This idea is getting bettet by the minute...🤔

I hope you start to feel better then, I hate it when my throat acts up too. I was chucking mainly at the idea you were trying to report an entire country...that was almost cute. And whenever that frowny face is used I get a kick out of that too. The only thing that was missing was the frowny Kermit...The picture is awesome, brings back childhood memories of watching Sesame Street and the Muppet show. I definitely don't sounds like a woman right now. Whoa, basically same. xD Only that my voice was fine yesterday morning, but I had to talk myself through meetings all day long. By the time I got home, my voice had already dropped to a weird female Darth-Vader-level. I managed to send a few "Luke, I am your father" voice messages before it vanished completely. It's back today. Now I sound croaky like a toad that is about to meet the maker. *drinks* Hope you'e feeling better soon!

Sometimes when I hear my own voice, I'm surprised that people even talk to me because I sound so annoying. But then again, I never met anybody who liked their own voice, so I guess it's pretty normal. Oh, and you get well soon too!

As for the recording thing, are you sure you just don't feel awkward recording it and that's why you don't like it? I find if I'm being recorded, I end up trying to change the tone of my voice and then I just think it sounds silly and annoying when I hear it.

So you said, but you know your voice is appealing, Dragon. I really liked the accent too. As for the recording thing, are you sure you just don't feel awkward recording it and that's why you don't like it? I find if I'm being recorded, I end up trying to change the tone of my voice and then I just think it sounds silly and annoying when I hear it. Ah, Viv...the only woman in the world to like the kiwi accent. Including kiwi women. Wut? I like the kiwi accent too! Still, it's a bit hard to understand at times - I had to learn that the hard way when I went to see "What We Do In The Shadows" (my favourite vampire movie btw ) but that's probably because I'm not a native English speaker.

Ah, Viv...the only woman in the world to like the kiwi accent. Including kiwi women. I highly doubt that, Dragon. I know many women who like the kiwi accent... And the Aussie accent...And the British accent...And the Scottish accent...And the Spanish accent... almost anything that's different from ours out here in the West. I find the kiwi accent cute and cheerful though, it's neat to hear. And at risk of pissing off both the kiwis and the Aussies, I have to say the Aussie accent is just as fun to hear as the kiwis. They're kind of similar, to the Western ear, and they're both pretty awesome.
