Like actual decommissioned trains and such? Maybe I guess. I wonder if you could convert an actual railway cannon into a house or a restaurant... I'd love to try that with a WWII bomber or a cargo plane... but I'm weird. You'd have to build it from scratch. Only Dora is left of her sisters, the rest are scrap. But I suppose it could be done.

If you're going to spend a rediculous amount of money on a house, you might as well make it unique.

If you're going to spend a rediculous amount of money on a house, you might as well make it unique. It likely would be cheaper than you think. For example you'd not need to make it mobile so it could be flat based rather on a carriage. On the other hand if you want this thing functional that'd be expensive.

It would certainly be an odd house. A giant tube with a bed, kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
But I don't think you'd have a single other one like it.
Just make sure you have the yard for it.
I've always wanted to build a steam punk like Air Ship as a house. It wouldn't necessarily be floating, but one I could attach a baloon to, and get it airborne would be a must.

I REALLY do want a house modeled after Bag End in Lord of the Rings though, I think it's my favorite house design.

Though my idea would be some sort of underground bunker. But Bilbo's house in the movies was a nice one. It does give you the impression it was a little too big for a single hobbit.

Underground bunkers are cool, so are caves turned into houses. The interior of Bilbo's house was so cute and cozy, I love that more than some flamboyant, super ritzy interior. And yeah, I guess it was a good size for a couple of hobbits anyway, it never showed how many bedrooms there were, just the kitchen, diningroom, pantry, the study and the sitting area...I think. At least those are the areas I remember. Either way, it was just such a cute little place.

It probably wouldn't be allowed anywhere with actual gun laws, even places like the United States have restrictions on artillery pieces.

If its purely decorative, then I can't see a reason why they wouldn't allow it. Just make sure everyone and their second cousin once removed knows it cannot fire anything.

Why do people have full blown conniption fits over the most mundane and trivial things in existence? For example, my mother went into a screaming tirade because a chair wasn't pushed in all the way on my birthday no less.

For example, my mother went into a screaming tirade because a chair wasn't pushed in all the way on my birthday no less. First of all, I'm sorry your mom caused such a scene on your birthday, I hope she didn't ruin it. And second, sometimes it's caused by an accumulation of little stresses over a period of time that cause a sudden emotional breakdown, or it can be from being stressed out over the big shit you can't control so you keep your mouth shut and then you overreact about something you can control. (these are just possible causes, it may be something else too.)

Why do people laugh? Why is laughing a thing. Why do we make an odd noise when we find something funny? Who was the first person to laugh and how was that idea passed on? Why do people have full blown conniption fits over the most mundane and trivial things in existence? For example, my mother went into a screaming tirade because a chair wasn't pushed in all the way on my birthday no less. First of all, I'm sorry your mom caused such a scene on your birthday, I hope she didn't ruin it. (these are just possible causes, it may be something else too.) No she didn't. She didn't do it in front of anyone outside the family. She saves this special treatment for my dad and I. I'm just so tired of it . Especially since her rage is contagious. Both me and my dad have developed a coping mechanism for it where if there is a slightest hint that she's upset, even if she's not mad, we instantly become enraged and defensive.

I'm having one of those weird days. I fell asleep right before an important appointment so I basically had to hurry out of the door as I were and I looked like shit. There are a great deal of workers outside my apartment building lately due to the fact that they're renovating and changing our windows and they're all cute guys, so naturally I'm not interested in them seeing me in this state... they always say hi and smile etc so there's no escaping their looks lol and I had to improvise a bit, so I found a winter hat and a pair of sunglasses and went out like that, I still felt like shit. On the way to my appointment I nearly crashed into another car because I was so late and I set my gps wrong so I went to the wrong place I finally made it a half an hour late but the day has been a disaster so far, I just feel like crap today lol. Fuck!

I'm cautiously curious about the nintendo switch. It has some decent ideas to it. But there is so little known about it, that I have no idea what to exect.
Everyone's going nuts about it being able to play skyrim, but skyrim is 5 years old now. And the list of devs backing it is meaningless, as the Wii and the Wii U had a similar list, but what games did they put out? So how far behind the curve is it going to be? What games will it be able to play? What will the price be? And how long will the battery last on that removable screen?
So many questions yet to be answered that I'm curious about it.
