So we got time before E3, but we can start predicting stuff because why the hell not. What possible announcement/s are you looking forward to? For me it's 3 at the moment:
*CD Pojekt Red and possibly Cyberpunk. We know they'll attend to E3, we just don't know what for, Gwent? sure, but we already know about it, the point is to present new stuff.
*Gearbox and a Borderlands 3 announcement. I don't know if they'll attend per se, Gearbox Publishing is, but they could be there presenting a game from some other company, what we want is Gearbox Software. However, I'm a bit confident that this is the year they'll announce the game. Randy Pitchford has been teasing a little bit here and there about the game in various opportunities since the end of last year, and it's a lot of time without any announcements coming from them. We know they're working on the game for some time now, I think the moment is right.
*Bethesda. They got me rather intrigued, last year their show was a let down and they know it. They will have a conference this year yet again, and what's important, I think they could very well show a new IP. Could they show content for previously released games (DLC)? sure, but it just so happens that Prey's DLC is pretty much confirmed, Apparently ESO had a trailer for new content yesterday, so that's out of the way too. DLC for Wolfenstein 2? sure, but we already know about it. Point is, there's nothing new, they wouldn't be presenting anything, just showing trailers for things we already knew which would be pretty much 2017 all over again. Doubt they'd want to do that. Surely it's not another TES/FO, but perhaps finally the new rumored space IP "Starfield" .

Because I don't play much in terms of pc or PlayStation, I can't give much in predictions besides the last of us 2 getting a possible gameplay trailer and final fantasy 7 remake is given a date.
Regarding Xbox:
•I'd at least expect a halo 6 confirmation trailer and possibly even a beta date, besides that 🤷🏻♀️ Microsoft has been very lacking at the last few E3s to me, last year was probably their best fit the Xbox one, but everyone else didn't seem to bring their A game which led to a boooooring E3.
Regarding games in general:
•possibly something from Anthem as well
•I actually am expecting something from borderlands and if it shows up, I think it'll win the show as people are hardcore gamers airing for it (me included👍).
•Bethesda is a tricky one for me to predict as they have their hands on a lot of franchises now. I don't see a new fallout coming out so soon (between fallout and an elder scroll game, they tend to take 4-5 years between each one) and I legit wonder if they think it's worth doing a new elder scroll when ESO is still fairly active (I'm not sure if they realize not every elder scroll fan likes the mmo, plus Skyrim is still getting milked). Wolfenstein just had a recent iteration come out and doom while it's been a while, is still somewhat new but it can be possible to get a shooter out in just a few years time, I'd be looking forward to a new doom game.
I think we'll also see rockstar show more on red dead redemption and I would say they would win E3 but that depends on borderlands 3 showing or not.

But doesnt EA have their own happening before E3? Bethesda is the company who starts always I think. They do it on Sundays, so it's one day before E3 begins. EA has "their own show" in the sense that they present their stuff on a different room/stage, but it's essentially the same as say, Microsoft or Sony. And Nintendo keeps choosing to do those pre recorded presentations that I really don't like, I think it's way cooler when you do it live on stage, especially on E3.

Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Anthem are games I expect and hope to see/hear more about. Except from that I'm hopeful for some good, new annoucements. And I wouldn't be surprised if Bethesta found yet another way to use Skyrim.
But my biggest dream is Borderlands 3 annoucement. Gearbox, it's about time. Seriously, I wouldn't care about anything else if this happened.

Heh, hard to be a bad E3 when last year it was pretty lame in general. Well, it wasn't that bad, I mean I expected nothing at all and we did got something here and there.
Also to continue with Bethesda things, they announced the last piece of Wolfenstein 2 DLC today, so that's another title out of the way. They gotta have something new...

This corporatist gaming industry seems to be all out of ideas. The only games that might interest me at this point are Red Dead Redemption 2, last of us 2 and Final Fantasy VII.

What mysterious new franchise ? There were rumors for awhile now that they are making something new. Possibly Sci-fi or space opera. Of course, nothing official, so whether that's true or not... *shrug* Oh okay a Sci-fi or space opera game so something completely new for them then right ... we'll have to wait a few more months until we know for sure. Maybe it's TES VI. I believe they already stated they are not currently working in a new Elder scrolls game. It's like Valve all over again. Personally, I have little hopes for E3 this year. This corporatist gaming industry seems to be all out of ideas. The only games that might interest me at this point are Red Dead Redemption 2, last of us 2 and Final Fantasy VII. There is always a possibility that they lied about it and that they are actually working on a new ES VI game but i guess you're right but one can hope right.

Oh, they're working on it. You better believe it. Although most likely will be released for next consol gen. TH has said that they know what they want to do, and sort how but there is some kind of lack in technology. BGS have expanded ac lot lately. Now three studios so they can juggle at least one more IP. Howard has also said that we will PROBABLY hear about two other big projects before TES VI. "Probably" not definitely. So for now my bet is on "Starfield" for BGS. DooM 2 from Id? Other stuff that interests me is Anthem of course and CP2077.

Cyberpunk still has me intrigued, but I'll be almost exclusively watching for anything concerning Metro Exodus. That was really the only spark of excitement of last year's E3 for me personally.

I doubt it, honestly. It's too soon. It's like saying another Wolfenstein, it's way to soon. From Beth it's either Starfield or some other IP, they literally got all the DLC for released titles out of the way just before E3, so they must be cooking something big (if it's not a "big" disappointment, that is)

Well, seeing how last year was a bit of a letdown, I certainly hope it'll be better this year around. I think it may be. - Bethesda has to show something new this year, right? I mean, come on... - Cyberpunk, there is one hit title already set. - With Far Cry 5 and AC: Origins out, it'll be interesting to see what Ubi has in store for us. - Microsoft said, they'd have the biggest E3 presence yet. Not sure what that means but since big xbox titles are usually also available on PC, I am intersted what we'll see. - EA is currently the one I am least interested in. They seem to concentrate way too much on MP crap at the moment and I don't care for any of that. BW probably wil not show anything but Anthem. Unless they unexpectedly show some new big SP title, I'll probably be unimpressed and the chnce for that are miniscule.

Another Gears of War? We'll see. Not sure what could they have. Not sure now, but doesn't MS also sometimes show third party stuff, that comes out for xbox? 'Cause yea, MS itself doesn't have a lot of great franchises (though I did buy Quantum Break on a Steam sale the other week, didn't play that much yet but what I saw was pretty fun actually).

Well, there was another interview with Pete Hines with Gamespot, once more he says they are not releasing TES VI any time soon. But he also says they have cool shit coming up...
He mentions how the team doesn't want to jump from FO to TES over and over, they want to do new stuff. Yeah, sure it's only fair, but DUDE you are releasing shit every 4 to 6 years, of course people bloody want TES and FO! I'm all in for new IPs, but man, we love FO and TES too, we can't wait 9 years between releases of the same franchise, that's crazy. Anyways, this seems to confirm that they got some stuff coming up on E3 at least.
