I've watched tutorials but it seems so much more complicated than converting between the Sims games. I think I am hesitating due to fear of messing up. I want to convert so much, yet I feel like my hands are tied since for one the tool set doesn't work on my computer and secondly, I am stupid when it comes to Blender. I have Dragon Blender. Someone on Tumblr told me that it is all I need and that the tool-set is not necessary. I'd love to be able to do it myself but I have neither the confidence nor the knowledge. I want so much hairs in my game but I feel like a jerk asking people to convert them. I want to give back to the community but I really am truly a dummie. What helped with inter-Sims game conversions for me was read through tutorials. I can't seem to find any read only tutorials for hair conversions for this game.

You will need:
- Blender 2.49b or gmax and the appropriate import/ export script - DA Tool for extracting the vanillla meshes... - Gff4 editor for editing the files - Gimp or ps for making the hair textures - a lot of time, patience...
You can check this list for the programms you will need or which will be helpful :http://mrs-risibisi.tumblr.com/resources Most of the links should work.
Boodrl has made some years ago a video tutorial about porting hair but the resolution of the vids are very low. You can find the links also on the list above. If you never have worked with a 3d programm before it can be a bit overwhelming when you start but with time it will be better.
