Just a personal observation about DAO - the Village of Haven and the related Urn of Sacred Ashes quest. First of all, when you travel to Haven to begin that quest, do not take Sten. It's not a matter of gaining or losing approval points - not here, for any member. You should take Leliana and Alistair (my personal recommendation), as for your third choice, any of the others will do; Wynne, Shale, or Zevran (depending on how many others you have by this point). But, I suggest NOT including Sten; he sees no purpose in this quest and doesn't care about the sacred ashes, he will constantly add negative remarks and doubt the necessity of the quest. It's not important, but just annoying to listen to.

An observation about the ghost knight you meet in order to enter the chambers of the Urn:
His summary of your past and the deeds you did to come this far are very thoughtful and emotional... I actually teared up listening to him and giving my responses. He will offer a summary of any other companions you have with you as well, regardless of which ones they are. Alistair and Leliana will be moved by this. And making your way through the riddles of the hall of spirits is also intriguing, when you get the right answers, they tell you their story. Then, the final task of getting to the Urn is quite inspiring and thought provoking. Remember to be faithful and polite, NOT aggressive. If you follow the path of Andraste, you won't have to fight any demons here.
