Jumped into few games with Elementalist. At level 19 decided to swap Immolate with Firestorm for meteor shower spam and now I want to play my inferno Rion again...

Still not clicking with Rion. I just feel awkward. Probably a L2P issue On topic - made my first attempt at saarasupportabas on NM - glyph, barrier, asaras-run-like-hell, athlok burst. Was fun although I think I killed like 8 enemies.

Was fun although I think I killed like 8 enemies. Take all the cooldown passives first (first & second tree - ( I think about 6 or 7 skill points [correct me if I'm wrong]) and the initial two offensive skills will give you better cover. I did use 'Wall Of Fire' often towards the perilous stage, but pretty much spammed 'Firestorm' in the beginning

I love elementalist, he's very fun to play. I've been changing up his actives with each promotion trying different things out. I was playing FC on perilous last night with him and for once I had a ball fending off those little bastard Sha-Brytols. I hid in that little doorway thing, laid ice mines in front of that room and at the base of the main stairs. I kept casting wall of fire on them as they walked down the stairs, and if they made it through the wall of fire they ended up stepping on ice mines. And if they still weren't dead, they got a stonefist to the face! It was glorious!

Elementalist is great crowd controller. My build for low stats NM farming was: Firestorm, Wall of Fire, Fire Mine and Barrier. Firestorm and Wall of Fire are great, even if you have fire resistant enemies, because Firestorm ragdolls them and Wall of Fire puts them to panic; that gives melee guys lots of breathing space. I used Fire Mine mostly for personal protection against assassins by standing on it.

Yes, I've got barrier as one of the active slots at the moment. I hated having to give up one of his other damage spells to add it, but it's necessary for me at the moment. I love firestorm, but this was the first time I didn't pick it for him. He's level 19 now, so it will go back in when he promotes. I used a mix of fire and ice with him this time but the previous times I focused only on fire abilities.

Many veteran players still take Barrier purely for the EXP

Flashpoint good for Barrier casting too if things start to get a little dicey Ofcourse, but casting Firestorm without Flashpoint means waiting almost whole minute, it looses its effectiveness. Also, it is better to keep Barrier for you, if you want to protect teammates without Barrier botting us Keeper. Finvola and I were just talking about how mines are a bit .. awful as nobody steps on them usually, at least on threat/perilous. Well thats that then, gotta try this next time Fire Mine has 3 seconds activation delay, with a little practice you will manage it. On Perilous and below cast Fire Mine in the middle of the Firestorm and Wall of Fire in front of it, all that knocking down will send enemy into the mine while they stay inside area of effect panicked. Also, put it on static enemies (Red Templar Knights for example) and on doorways/chokepoints.

No plans for Anthem and it’s unlikely there’s anything that can be modded but who knows Also the green orbs were Aegis of the Rift Basically I had figured out a way to use any ability in anyone’s lobby (I.e I’m not host and the host doesn’t have mods applied) including single player abilities like Mark, Aegis, Wall of Ice, Hail of arrows, Resurgence, Resurrect, etc. As well as unused abilities such as turret, spreadshot, reflectivebubble, rapidfire, weapon elemental enchantment, etc.. creating my own builds and whatnot People didn’t seem to like it when I jumped in their lobby and started resurrecting dead/faded players lol

I saw somebody do that in a lobby the other day and couldn't figure out for the life of me how they were resurrecting dead players. Now I know! I don't have any mods installed for DAI myself, but you won't see me complaining if somebody wants to resurrect fallen party members. The ones I don't like are the very cheaty ones where all enemies have like 1HP or the party has constant guard and barrier and are basically invincible. That kind of stuff will make me leave.

I was in between playing games, baking, and food prep and felt a little frazzled and out of my depth. I wasn't sure I could keep up on NM at that moment. I think it was just shortly before I joined your lobby that I had no less than 3 near culinary disasters. Cooking isn't one of my strong points.

I like rion, but only if he is specced the way I like. I have to admit I do not like playing with an ele that uses fire storm or wall of fire. They are both every effective no disputing it but I can't see shi* through that stuff. His base fire and frost spells are localized quick cool downs and very effective, i also do barrier and frost step. I tried a new old build for the necro, what a disaster The companion ability has to be the most useless piece of junk in the game.

For me it's Flashpoint, Cleanburn and Gathering Storm and Death Siphon (passives) taken before all other skills. Spirit Mark on Sidony makes sense only on big enemies like Giants. Otherwise they just stand around. Enemies have to be nearby for them to be effective and since it only lasts for so long, it's completely useless. Especially when the zone is complete and you have to wait
