I’ve noticed some visual differences in MEAMP on PC and Consoles (Xbox One S for me). For instance:
1) Enemies on fire glow much more brightly on PC. On consoles, enemies appear to be smoldering rather than on fire.
2) Ascendant’s orb attack leaves a trail of flames on PC. Nothing on console.
3) Biotic Ascension mode warps the area around the Kineticist on PC. This effect, even if it’s there on console, is much more muted.
4) PC users can adjust their field of view. FOV is locked on consoles.
What other differences have people seen?

Little brother said there is much more detail in the maps on PC compared to XBox One, like fex. in Sandstorm, theres more vegetation overall.

Draw distance is different although it is more noticable in Singleplayer I guess. But even if the PC version looked 10x better than the console version it's still a lousy game. Gave SP another shot like 3 weeks ago or so but I just can't keep playing because it's such a tedious and boring game with tons of fetch quests and character you don't care about with problems you care even less about.

A number of things are more crisp and clear on the pc. I still prefer my xbox though becasue I am simply used to my large screen tv. The slightly faster respomnse with the small screen bothers my eyes for the pc.

The slightly faster respomnse with the small screen bothers my eyes for the pc. My PC is hooked up to my TV and I play from the couch. ME:A's scenery in 4k on the big screen is beautiful and puts my 1080TI through its paces. Shame the game is so damn dull that I can't even progress beyond Habitat 7 on a second playthrough, nor can I stomach more than one match at a time in multiplayer. Although I did play ME3 on both console and PC and the biggest change was frame rate, impacts the whole game to have smooth movement above 30fps than jittery frames capped at 30. |

MEA lost support faster, has a bloated loot pool, lacks weight or a visceral sense of accomplishment. The game has devolved into using the same four or five weapons and kits with few devoted players supporting it. ME3MP is FAR more varied. Mind you, MEA is not terrible. If ME3MP's servers ceased to be, I'd probably return but I'd play far less. I mentioned FPS, which is the biggest difference IMO. |

I see me3mp having less players here, basically almost zero lobbies. MEA is full almost immediately. The final time on me3mp I waited over 20 minutes alone.. so nope, maybe it had larger player base, we're also seeing new players on MEA weekly basis. Does me3mp have support?  Boring conversation anyway... these days consoles and mid level pc's are quite close, depending of course, but as usual pc's take the lead |

FOV slider is crutial difference, even when visuals on consoles are slightly better than lowest PC settings. For me visuals aren't that imprtant. I even play SP with max FOV, I don't mind fish eye effect with exploration camera.
