TCGs, CCGs, OCGs, both physical and online. Which do you like to play? I’m including games of chance and casino games in this, like Poker or Blackjack, too. For games like Hearthstone or Magic, what is your preferred playstyle? Do you have a favorite deck archetype and strategy? Have you participated in any tournaments?
I haven’t played Magic (but I want to), but I’ve played a ton of Hearthstone and YGO. I kinda stopped on both for the moment, but I bought YGO: Legacy of the Duelist on my Xbox to get back into the game after so long, and it’s still a lot of fun. Elemental Hero decks are still my favorite archetype and I’m digging the newer Hero cards, but I’ve been hearing good things about some of the newer Blue-Eyes support cards. I’ve been considering buying a structure deck for Blue-Eyes for the physical game.
Hearthstone is fun for more casual play, but the archetypes aren’t as clearly defined, I think. Like, no single monster or spell to build a whole deck around like you can do in YGO. I so very much want to play a viable Demolock like you’re able to do in regular WoW, but a lot of the demons available for Warlocks (especially the earlier cards which so far make up the bulk of the count) have almost anti-synergy with each other, you can’t realy make a coherent strategy with them as it is. The demons in general have a lot of really painful drawbacks for their power, which makes sense, but they’re TOO crippling.

I'm a diehard Magic The Gathering fan since all the way back in 1997 when I was 8 and never stopped. When I went to high school I infected the entire school with this card game, we played during the breaks and we held matches that counted up to 10 players. I still have most of those cards from that time and some are pretty rare and valuable today. Right now I have 10 decks, my favorite right now is a damn near unbeatable Demon/Horror deck. Demons and Horrors are very powerful creatures that can be cast very early in the game and hit really hard, but they typically have terrible drawbacks that can easily kill me long before I can kill my opponent. (Kind of like a ''deal with the devil'' situation). But I have found effective ways to bypass and handle those drawbacks. Here are two example of the ''abusive'' creatures I use in the deck. You have to build a good strategy around them or you will kill yourself with them.

It’s always big monsters and strong spells for low costs, but with effects like damaging yourself or discarding cards on summoning or destroying your own mana.

In MTG you start with 20 life points, often those demons or horrors deal damage to you, like when being damaged themselves or constant damage every turn. To prevent my quick demise I use spells that deal damage to my opponents and give me back some life as well. Often I win with only 1-2 life points left but I nearly always win with this deck. Here I am playing my Zombie Apocalypse deck in mutiplayer, I'm the guy on the left

Card Games *puts on sunglasses* on motorcycles. Personally, I have the most experience with magic the gathering. But I can't say as I have anyone to play it with IRL. So my cards/decks just languish atm. But I've played a few others. Pokemon, uno, deck builders, ect.

In my good times I played both Yu Gi Oh! and Magic the Gathering, now nothing really, but maybe I try Gwent some day.

As far as CCGs go, I was big into Marvel/etc Overpower back in the day, and played a fair amount of the Decipher Star Wars CCG, too. I still have some of the Overpower stuff in collection binders, and admittedly I open them up for a little nostalgia bomb whenever a superhero movie or the like gets me in the mood.
I also played quite a bit of Magic, but it's been nearly 20 years or so since the last time I got any new cards; when I see new stuff now it's clear the game has...evolved beyond my comprehension.

Why is Pazaak not an option? How do people see a poll with an “other” option and still ask why something is not on the poll?

Does watching Yu Gi Oh! The Abridged Series count as experience with card games?
If not, then I've spent the most time playing Magic: The Gathering.
