Spidey look pretty nice from that position with that girly boi butt. Puts Brie to shame.

I'm really disliking it when people are immediately saying Brie Larson is wrong for Captain Marvel just from the trailers alone. These particular trailers aren't really designed to showcase character, but seem more interested in setting up that there's a mystery and a brewing alien war. Kind of like how the Black Panther trailers didn't really get me excited because they seemed to set up as just "guy's going to destroy Wakanda, Black Panther has to prove himself to save it," kind of story...only for me to get blown away when I actually saw the movie. I think Brie Larson's a great fit honestly. She looks the part, has some impressive acting credentials already, and seems to have a deep respect for the character. Let's reserve judgment until AFTER the movie comes out okay?
Probably the same people who said Gal Gadot wasn't suited to play Wonder Woman. We know how that went. Big breasts be damned. Gal is Diana.

Ladies and gentlemen, the worst Cinemasins video yet! Not because they're sinning an awesome movie, but because 90% of their "sins" are ignorant, inaccurate, and just all around dumb.
Already saw it with volume off and...It's painful! Just so painful!

Larson on the other hand displayed a lack of charisma and just can't keep her mouth shut about political stuff that ought to be left out of the MCU much like Evans, Cheadle, and to a lesser extent, Downey. I'll still withold judgement on her performance and the fear mongering about wokeness invading but as a person, I'm not a fan of her.

To be fair, Gal Gadot got political at one point when it came to the whole Palestine/Israel thing. My parents disagreed with her thoughts and are not fans of her, but still enjoyed her performances in Wonder Woman and Ralph Breaks The Internet. Honestly, if you don't like the actor because of his/her political thoughts, that's fine, but as far as I'm aware Marvel has been smart to keep them out of the movies. I don't think it's fair to say a movie's going to be bad or that Larson's a bad choice for the character just because you don't like the actor as a person.

Even though I follow Brie on Twitter I haven't seen any of her leftist tweets, just tweets about her movies. I heard Evans is a leftist twit so I never followed him. Don't want to ruin my favorite MCU series, Captain America. I had to unfollow some celebrities because I grew tired of their daily hatred of Trump or anything about his admin.

The MCU did the Hulk dirty. He hasn't been impressive since the first Avengers movie.

It mostly because Mark Ruffalo has been relegated to comedy relief instead of a deeply conflicted man trying to balance life with anguish. I've hated his Banner since Avengers 2. Bring back serious Banner and stop with this clown shit.
And yeah, I like Evans despite his political leanings. He's entertaining in every movie he's in and is probably the best Steve Rogers they'll have. Though, when your competition is Reb "ARGGHH" Brown and some unknown guy in a forgetful movie, it doesn't say a lot. However I can see his portrayal on the pages of a classic, pre 2010 comic with Cap in it.

Doesn't make him any less the Hero of Gorram Canton, the man they call Jayne.

The writers are consistenly neutering his character with each passing movie. Aparently the lovable nerdy loser persona seem to have stuck with Bruce Banner. I think it all started when Joss Whedon started to project himself into Banner's character in Age of Ultron and had Bruce have an romance with Black widow. They tuned him into the awkward school geek that manages to score with the school cheerleader.

Personally I don't really get the whole "leftist/rightist" thing, as in I have no idea what people are talking about. All I know is that I am not a fan of Trump and his administration, which is why I never really thought about what people like Chris Evans and Brie Larson says because I consciously try to avoid anything with Trump. That said, I still respect them as actors and people with their own opinions.
As for the whole Ruffalo Hulk, while I definitely agree there hasn't been much of the more serious conflicted Hulk in more recent movies, I still think this is a pretty good Hulk. If they honestly just made Hulk nothing but mopey conflicting identities, it would get not fun pretty fast. And the movies still touch on Bruce's conflicting feelings about Hulk, from the first Avengers movie and even the second one. Personally, I didn't mind his more comedic relief roles in Thor Ragnorok and Infinity War since in context with their respective stories it made sense. In Thor: Ragnorok he was on alien planet having just spent YEARS as nothing but the Hulk, and in Infinity War, he returns home to find so many things have happened since he was gone, not to mention Hulk wasn't listening to him. In both cases he was way out of his comfort zone, and since he is more of a socially awkward guy, it makes sense that his interactions come across as humorous.

Let's get this conversation away from the politics here.
Currently I've been reading the latest of the Spider-Geddon comic event and...it's not good. The stories aren't really well written, it doesn't really have the same large scale fight for survival element of the previous Spider-Verse event, and a lot of the spin-off material is pretty underwhelming.
That said, this event has at the very least presented some cool ideas in there. Charlie Parker being this young, angsty, more gritty Spider-kid was kind of neat. I liked the concept of a universe where Gwen Stacy becomes the Green Goblin. I was also pretty into the idea of an alternate universe where Captain George Stacy is a Spider like vigilante. It is cool to see the PS4 Spider-man interact with the others. And Spider-Girls actually made me a bigger fan of Annie Parker than I realized.
Even some of the brand new concepts they introduced are kinda cool. My favorites are Spider-Byte and the Spiders-Man.
