Off topic but wtf was Disney thinking. Aslan from the CoN was more expressive than this. That's the big issue with photorealism, that the expressive nature you could get from cartoon drawings will be gone. Personally, I'm still interested to see how the songs and story works in a new photorealistic look. As with the whole Aslan thing, from what I remember, Aslan animation wise wasn't too expressive either. It was mainly a combination of Liam Neeson's voice acting and the camera work that made him look more expressive. The 3d Hakuna Matata bit was awkward not only because of the animals' lack of expession, but the voice acting seemed very uninspired and that doesn't bode well for the rest of the film. Good luck watching the film because i don't have the stomach to watch renaissance classics being viciously savaged by Mickey.

I confess there is an aspect of Endgame that causes a bit more Fridge Logic (beyond what's already been talked about): In Infinity War we saw Doctor Strange and Iron Man each fight Thanos one-on-one. They lost, but put up a hell of a fight (Tony actually managing to draw blood), while Thanos had four infinity Stones and was throwing MOONS at them! Later in Wakanda, Thor nearly one-shots Thanos who had a completed Infinity Gauntlet AND tried (and failed) to attack him with it. Yet in Endgame: Thor (with Stormbreaker), Iron Man (in an even more advanced suit), AND a Mjolnir-empowered Captain America working in concert get trashed by a Thanos who appeared to be armed only with a propeller from the Thanoscopter rather than even a single Infinity Stone... My best guess would be that Thanos was exhausted after using the Infinity Gauntlet. It still takes a "price" after it is used, so he likely wasn't prepared for Thor to strike; at least that's my take. I think it's also important to remember that Thanos had already beaten Thor during the beginning of infinity war, though I think he had the Power stone during this time. It's hard to say really how strong Thor truly would have been in a true one-on-one against Thanos (pre-snap).

Well, he was still able to do the Snap with Stormbreaker sticking out of his chest I knew I was misremembering something . To me, I found that propeller blade to be one of the more "WTF" elements of Endgame. That, and the fact that it broke Cap shields. Stormbreaker Thor (in Endgame) was also fairly out of shape... and yet he also holds back Thanos with Stormbreaker and Mjolnir when Thanos tries to grab the Infinity Gauntlet. Power levels were kinda all over the place in that movie.

Dear Disney, please get Jaimie Alexander to star in a Lady Sif series for Disney+ Either this or have Sif as a recurring character on the Loki series.
(Anyone else get the sense Loki had a thing for her?)

Given his story in Norse mythology, Loki had a thing for everyone and everything...

And Chris Hemsorth is the only one who expressed interest in continuing the character. And let's face it, the possibility had already been set up that's appear in Guardians of the Galaxy 3...

Then again, Endgame may had been taking the mick out of Unworthy Thor with its Drunk Thor.

Because he's already been "unworthy" with the first movie. And has dealt with the loss of Mjolnir in Ragnarok. Both were better stories than what the comics did.

It worries and concerns me that they may go down that route, like FULLY go down that route. So, touch wood, they don't.

Mutants could have popped up occasionally any number of times. But are only now becoming more common. In the original 60s comic, atomic bomb testing starting in the 1940s was causing mutants to appear in the next generation. Some other phenomena could be used to explain their appearance in the. From the use of the Infinity Stones on Earth (which we know can "enhance" humans) to alien tech exposing Earth to weird radiation in the late-90s to some weird cosmic event jump-starting mutation.

(if I remember correctly, they first encountered each other during WW2).

The X-men could be explained as being a result of Nuclear weapons testing by S.H.I.E.L.D. in the 80s or something along those lines The main reason to do both re-starts in one flick is to introduce the new Super-villain duo for Phase 4: Dr. DOOM & Kang the Conqueror
