Maybe, not sure it is some feminist conspiracy to ruin 80's homoerotic soft core porn though, personally I think it is more along the lines of instead of hiring a proper animator Cartoon Network decided it would cost too much money and decided to hire some fresh out of college liberal arts degree with zero artistic talent because fuck it kids are too stupid to know what good animation is!
What do you think?

That bastion of sophisticated character design and storytelling? How dare they. Whoa chill dawg, it wasn't THAT great, I am more upset that they changed the art style, not sure how I am going to be able to masturbate to it.

The producer’s dumb hairdo is the worst thing about this by far.

The 2011 Thundercats reboot was incredible, it makes me so sad that it got cut short.

Man I loved that show when I was like 10-12... Yeah..that animation was amazing and one of the my favorite episodes was the one where Lion-O actually killed Mumm-ra.....a bit intense for an 80's cartoon....i never checked out the 2011 reboot, but i always loved the original....as far as that new cartoon coming out in 2019?....lol that s**t is going to be DOA......complete trash and who gave the green light for that train-wreck?....

It's not about Thundercats tbh. It's more about this garbage ass art style that Cartoon Network seems to have a hardon for. It's the reason why I'll always prefer the OG and 2nd generation (DBZ, Ronin Warriors) Toonami shows to the visual shitstains they purport now. For some reason that crap caught on and it also affects the content of these shows. Its also why I'll always prefer Venture Bros over Rick & Morty. One started with average animation and steadily got better season after season while the other looks like Jackson Public did blow while tripping on shrooms and acid before attempting to draw a human body. Funny how when we were kids, the only thing stopping most US produced cartoons from being perfect (at least with the FOX Marvel lineup) were censors who wouldn't let characters actually punch each other unless it was a machine. Today's just weird.

Today's just weird. I've been a long-time fan of The Venture Bros., but Rick & Morty won me with its writing. The show's art style initially threw me off, but it made up for it with its content. But Rick & Morty's sort of along the same vein as The Simpsons and the like where it at least has some sense of structure. This is basically just an extremely loose glob of colors by comparison. The most disheartening thing was looking at the really crummy storyboarding stuff in the preview for this. Awful.

Today's just weird. Completely agree with this...i too have noticed that trend towards a more "cartoony" look in terms of the these reboots...those 90's x-men cartoons was great at the time and the animation and the physical stature of the characters was realized just as they looked in the comics....Beast was a strong agile physical brute, Wolverine physically looked the part etc....then years later we get animation that looks less realistic. I will say that the 90's batman cartoon fit it's theme nicely as it still implemented a sort of dark theme and it stayed close to the source material. I'm just really not a fan of these types of animation where they have more of "cartoony" look to them and it seems the atmosphere and the narrative also suffers....The anatomy of these characters in general suffers overall and the visuals looses it's impact....
