I let Loghain do the deed. Which led to an awkward conversation with Morrigan. About Kieran's father... I, too, couldn't bring myself to sacrifice Loghain (I already saved him once, dagnabbit!), so Sarcastic Hawke, ever a hero at heart, bit that bullet. Nobody tell her loverboy, Anders, please. Not thinking he'd react well...

Summer of 2011 is when I first posted. I think I might have joined in summer of 2010, but I certainly didn't post then.
Posted a whole hell of a lot in the lead up to ME3 release, and then a lot on the revamped BSN afterwards. I think I was at 16,000 posts maybe?

Joined BSN August 2011, because ME2 and Miranda specifically. Stuck mostly to the Miranda and Kasumi threads, occasionally venturing to other character threads or Story and Lore, and eventually poking my head in the MP section once I got into it. I was there through the Miranda Civil War, the Romance Section Meltdown, the ME3 ending Apocalypse, the EC farce, the switchover, the closing of Off-Topic and start of the splinter forums. Joined Vroom, joined TSG, ended up here.
Not as ancient as some, but I was there.

I started not long after getting into the series via ME2 on PS3. I played the demo and wanted to learn more about the games' setting and characters so I found BSN circa 2010. I lurked for a short while and signed up within a few days. Great times. I then took part in the many debates about the RGB and ME3 in general, it was tthe only thing keeping from breaking or selling the game until I gave MP a more close look and loved it. Met quite a few awesome people here and was glad to have found the place. Who still remembers HoldTheLine.com? I kinda miss that forum too. Fast forward to the very questionable shutdown and boom! Landed here on the first day. I miss the old forum from 2010ish but here we've got far better staff and more freedom. I hope it continues to grow and expect that much with Anthem hype picking up.

BSN BioWare Social Network (2010-2013)I got my hands on Mass Effect & DA:O around 2010 and joined in Decemeber of that year the BSN. I mostly lurked on the forums though. I didn't really post anything because it was more a nice ressource for helpfull tipps & mods for the games. And I was not a big fan of forums in general - I was more of the aktive Teamspeak/Skype type of gamer. Forums were more information gathering options for me than social platforms at that time. The BioWare Forum (2013-10/2016)Later I wandered to the Bioware Forums and there I started to post as well for the first time. Was more of a lurker though. Did both things until the forums got shot down and burned to hell with all the toxicity and Bioware's resignation to do anything - which kind of was understandable but also disapointing at the same time. Had a lot of entertaining moments there until the end though . New BSN (us) (08/2016 - date)Washed up at your shore than after trying out some other fanmade platforms and stayed until today. I got on the hypetrain for Andromeda and posted more at that time because of my active interest in that game and its development (and my unduying love for the ME franchise). Took part in watching the E3 2017 with everyone else here which was fun as well and was the reason to do so again in 2018. Got massively burned by the endproduct though. Couldn't play it to the end at that time. Gave it a shot a few days ago - and felt more discouraged than the first time. Didn't get through Eos. Nevermind though I joined Discord today as well (after a bit of selfmade mistakes I think). I hope to use this forum the same way I did in the last 8 years: as important ressource of information and for entertaining purposes (never forgot the "Watch the world burn party" and Solas 's weird last post on ye olde BSN nor the ME:A podcasts, passionate screenshot/character analysis and troll ramblings. Even found some peeps who tried to invite me in ME:A for Multiplayer though my old pc lady didn't want that in the end (which was kind of a huge bummer for me). Still sorry for that. I will follow the development on Bioware and their games, though I am pretty sceptical and cautious of them. My type of genre are still Singleplayer RPGs and I like coop games as well. But the kind of content in those games seem to change, which is good and bad at the same time and for an "older" gamer like me sometimes a bit overwhelming and sometimes so different of what I anticipate so I have to wait and see what my future will bring here.

I joined BSN back in 2010 after ME2 was released. I lurked until after the release of ME3 in 2012. Been posting crazy stuff ever since.

I only dabbled in the Original BioWare Forum, and I believe only formally joined in 2009/2010. Even then I think it was still a couple of years before I became a regular.

For about three years? I wasn't on Old, old BSN... most unfortunately, I was much too young for that, lol. But I was on the Old BSN however... and even that for about a year before it closed.

I first registered on the Bioware Social Network on June 9th 2010, but I didn't start actively posting on it until March 6th 2012 when ME3 was released.

I joined the original BSN in late 2010 or early 2011, after i bought ME2. I wasn't active though, had a total of five or so posts on that board and stopped lurking soon afterwards as ME3 seemed so far away. I came back (pretty angry) after the ending debacle and kind of got stuck, stayed lurking. I didn't mind the change to the Bioware forums as most did. I only 'lost' my avatar in the change, and the new forums had that cool customizable background, which i liked. Around with that forum change came intermittent phases with much free time for me (or rather - too much neglecting of my degree course), so I lurked more, also posted more. Primarily remember some interesting debates between themikefest , capn233 , Cap'n gown, MegaIllusiveMan , and a few others. And a waayy, waaayyy too long running argument between mostly Iakus and gothpunkboy89 about the merits and implications (or lack thereof) of the ME3 ending. Also the legendary VorchaMasterRace, the illusive GigaVorcha mp character and other awesome nonsense. And finally the damn amazing first round of ME3 pluck&play/dlc mods, such as AVPen 's bonus power pack and Mr.Fob (isn't he also registered here?) mehem. And now i'm here, still mostly lurking in the shadows. Fun times, fun times

April 2012? With ME3. I tried to solo bronze and horribly failed in wave 2. So I came to see how others would git gud. Wasn't disappointed - I quickly learned about tea-bagging and score-whoring. Stayed in the MP sections mostly. And yes, I remember Eric leaving the Balance thread open, too - as great a day as the balance changes in September, when he announced that fire and tech explosions would trigger not only on death

Pretty sure I signed up for the old BW forums sometime in 2004 maybe. The names I have recognized from forever are Gileadan and alanc9, both good thinkers who I respect, even if one of you has been driving me nuts for almost 15 years I was mostly spending time in the NWN Lexicon, understanding KotOR Script, but I occasionally entered the NWN modding forum to ask questions. Always Qui-Gon.

Hmm.... Original BSN BioWare Social Network (?-?) Not entirely sure. I lurked there for a long time before evening creating an account. Mostly used it as a resource for KOTOR tips. Did eventually join and post (David Gaider even answered a question of mine!) but it was under a different name. WardenKiwi? KiwiWarden? Something like that. Would only have been a handful of posts. I disappeared pre-Origins release and rejoined the community in it's "Bioware Forum" guise a year/year and a half later. The BioWare Forum : March 2010 was my join date, and I assume my first post was around then. I was a far less frequent poster there. New BSN (us) (08/2016 - date) : August 3rd, 2016 - been half drunk ever since. You Kiwi Only half drunk? I found BSN soon after DAI's launch and lurked there until my joining a few months later, March 2015 iirc. And I joined because of... a guide. There used to be guide for Sera's caches and the one in Emprise du Lion was listed incorrectly, plus Emerald Graves - while author knew it was there - didn't know right directions. So I joined to share what I know and stayed. As for our new home, I joined on the first day. No way I was going to miss this ship I also joined the BSN a bit after DAI's launch, May 2015 for me I joined because I couldn't put the Dalish Rogue Armor on Sera and made a bug/glitch thread in the german subforum of the BSN, sadly the german subforum was mostly dead, so I went to the english one and stayed. Mostly stuck to the DAI subforum (General, Game Mechanics and Multiplayer), discovering/finding solutions for Bugs/Glitches, made a Guide for Alchemy Incredients, joined the Drinkquisition right after it got unlocked. Theeen the BSN got closed and I joined the uBSN 2 days late, because I got confused by all the different "new BSNs/DA forums" that popped up. Anyway, I'm here and I'm not gonna leave.

I think I liked Loghain almost from the beginning. I was actually hoping that you could spare his life in the end. Not only did I find out that you could do that, but it turns out that you could also recruit him. I thought that was great as I personally didn't like Alistair. I was one of the people always defending Loghain. Well, that didn't necessarily mean that I thought that Loghain's actions weren't wrong, but I tried to make people understand that he was a morally grey villain, better than most Dragon Age villains. The only other good Dragon Age villain was the Arishok. Too bad you couldn't recruit him into your party... OMG, a fellow Loghain fan made it over here! At last I found my people.

I didn't know BioWare existed until Origin gave away free copies of DAO to celebrate Inquisition's release. I was skint and in need of a game so I took it. I spent the first hour sniggering at how shitty it looked, then the next slowly becoming fascinated with the world. That was 2014, I lurked on BSN Prime looking for quest advice but was scared to post with all you nasty people. A year later I put my head above the parapet and slowly became quite active....just as the hammer fell.

I see we are all waxing goddamn nostalgic. Well, I started out lurking during the last days of the BioWare forum (late 2009). I believe I joined the original BSN the day ME2 came out, I think I needed an EA account for some reason or other. I didn't post much in the beginning (mainly lurked). I did eventually rack up 3,000+ posts there, so at some point I started posting more frequently. I mainly posted in the Jack thread, the Off-Topic forum, or just goofed off in the ME3 forum.
