With Coercion and Cunning attributes, one can easily get Alistair to marry Anora.
But what about the Warriors who didn't invest in those two things?
I've read a blog that said it was more about his approval with the Warden than the former mentioned skills.
Which is it? A combination of both? Or just two ways to get him to do it?
I ask because my husband wants this outcome, but as a two handed warrior, has not invested the points in either skill/attribute area.

You need to mention the idea to him straight away when you're in Arl Eamon's estate in Denerim, then go talk to Anora about it. Go back to Alistair and make sure both agree before going ahead with the Landsmeet. You can then keep Loghain alive if you like and Alistair will be King with Anora as Queen. AFAIK it's got nothing to do with attributes. If you need to be friends or not? Not sure, my Warden was. He could always stock up on gifts from Bodhan before calling the Landsmeet...just force feed Alistair some cake.

It doesn't necessarily require high approval or a persuasion check, but he has to be hardened, if you want him to marry Anora.

@lythinae
I told him before he even started that he should harden Alistair no matter what just so he'd have more options at the end rather than less when he finally decided what he wanted to do.
