Are...you asking which of those listed we called? Or are you pointing out the ones that you called?
Because of that list - I called Anders. And had a weird feeling about Blackwall, but him being a fake was not on my radar.

- Morrigan having hidden motives for joining the party Nope, didn't see it even a little bit. But I'm still thankful, or my first run would have had the most depressing ending and I may not be the fan I am today. - Isabela being the reason why the Qunari were in Kirkwall Not even one clue. She was always a bit weird and shady. I just remember being outraged that she'd lied straight to my face about giving the book back and then took off, never to return. Completely blindsided, shocked, flaberghasted, crushed. Mach truck slammed into me, then backed up to make sure I didn't have a pulse. - Blackwall being a fake Warden Oh my gosh, I thought he was just playing hard to get! With all his, "Oh we shouldn't" "oh no, you're too good for me." I ignored any and all signs because I wanted to bang him, break up with him, and go to Cullen. The good ol' Bioware Bang and Dump, ya know. And then THAT! whoa. Broke up with him for a real reason instead of a lust reason. So um... lust blinded me? Also, he gives a damn good speech. Only - Solas being a lying egg um. I was pretty cool with him in base game. I guess I didn't.

I guess every twist where they tried to make us think we were dead? like the Tower of Ishall and falling in that hole at Haven during the attack. I was not concerned even a little bit.

I guess I'm too immersed to be judgemental like that during a first PT. I mean, I played these games, as many hours as they are, all the way through with hardly any sleep over a couple days. To add to the above, I was shocked by: I was shocked that Anora betrayed the Warden at the Castle. I was shocked the Ultimate Sacrifice was a thing. I was shocked when I came home from the Deep Roads to find Bethany going to the Circle. I was shocked when Leandra turned into Frankenstein. I was shocked and browbeaten by Anders into capitulating to his gaslighting demands about getting ingredients and going to the Chantry. I was shocked when I asked Fenris to change his mind about siding with Meredith--and he didn't. And I killed him. So shocked, in fact, that I reloaded to try different dialogue options and realized, sadly, that he was doomed to die that game. I definitely held my breath while Cullen and the other Templars considered attacking. I was startled that the celebration party turned into an attack. I was worried when I went out to face Corypheus and his dragon alone. I was touched by the cheesy song. I was shocked by Leliana MURDERING A NUN. I was disappointed to find out I/Inky wasn't the chosen of Andraste, because I was half believing by then. I was at wits end about Morrigan being an outright liar and running off to go kill the guard of the Well. I was worried when Keiran ran off into the Fade. I was surprised when I learned that Inky was under a geas from Mythall- that Flemth was Mythall. I was shocked by the sudden disappointing finall battle with Cory considering how epic the Arbor Wilds sequence had been. I was actually pretty whatever about Solas leaving. He's my friend, I don't control him, so I found it weird that Leliana was sending out scouts to look for him, that crazy ass nutcracker. I was very surprised to find the original Inquisitor held in a time spell. I was severely irritated to learn about Titans. I was shocked and supremely irritated to learn that the writers had made my Inky into a controlling asshole in the time jump. I was pleasantly surprised Mother Giselle apologized about Dorian. I was shocked in the BEST way when Cullen proposed! And I was honestly confused, worried, and doubting about Solas when the Qunari Leader started trash talking him. I wanted to believe in his goodness, because he'd been a good friend in base game. But by the time I really understood what he was doing, planning to do, my hand was killing me and I just wanted to live. And then I was shocked to find out I only had one arm. I guess these games are made for me, Miss Oblivious

Morrigan: Definitely thought she was working to her own agenda but didn't anticipate her offering a way out of the US.
Ultimate Sacrifice: The moment that Riordan offered to do this I knew he wouldn't make it. I thought "that's it, my hero is doomed".
Isabela: Thought she was lying to me from the first and definitely knew what the relic was. Started to wonder if it had any connection with what the Qunari were looking for but not that she had already been involved with them.
Anders: Started to think it was not going to end well with him after the incident with Ella. Also, suspected the "cure" was bogus and that he was lying to me but first run I still had enough faith in him that I still continued to help him in case I was wrong.
Corypheus: In Legacy it was so obvious that something had happened to the warden that was with us at the end, so hardly a surprise when he turned up again the following game.
Blackwall: Suspected something wasn't right with him, particularly after finding the note in the Raven Loft. It was one of those cases when I knew far more about the Wardens and their position in Ferelden as a player than my PC did. It bothered me that DAA seemed to have been totally ignored when it came to any information given in DAI. I think if I had been a totally new player it wouldn't have been so obvious.
Solas: Kept picking up on little things in conversation that made me feel he wasn't being straight with me. However, was distracted by the romance first run and also the lack of options for questioning him when I felt something he had said was off. Even before the game came out I suspected he might be an ancient elf, like Felassan, and after Temple of Mythal I was convinced of it. Still I would never have guessed he was the real villain or the Dread Wolf. That was an interesting twist.
Grey Wardens: Having played Legacy it seemed pretty obvious that whatever was up with the Wardens had to do with Corypheus.

I really thought the Inquisitor was going to die at the end of Trespasser so I was surprised to find out he only lost an arm.
Also Solas being the villain was something I didn't see coming Other than that there were no plot twists I didn't know about already. I generally don't play games when they just came out (I can never afford a 60 dollar game) so I have to wait until they're on sale and by then the internet is full of spoilers.

This is where I learnt my lesson about spoilers. It was a year till I played DAI so by then I knew about Blackwall. As I played it seemed so obvious to me, but I'd like to know if I'd have caught it if I hadn't ever known. Solas - didn't catch that but I'm dumb sometimes.

I get severely spoiled with these games. I have no willpower The events of the battle at ostagar surprised me, I hadnt spoiled myself yet. Blackwall I think I wasn't spoiled but it didnt come as much of a surprise when he was revealed. I had found a few things odd, especially that he wasnt affected by the calling.

Didn't see any of the twists coming. Thought with Morrigan and Anders something else was going on but didn't know what. Blackwall, Solas and Isabella completely by surprise. Solas made me happy cause it was a neat idea, Blackwall disgusted me at first but then came to understand what he did and Isabella, well she's so cute. - Morrigan having hidden motives for joining the partyHad an idea there were motives she and Flemeth weren't telling besides helping 2 Grey Wardens but didn't know what they were. - Anders going cray cray- Anders was surprised by his joining with Justice and never saw the explosion coming. I thought he was going to lead the charge to have a grand battle to free the Kirkwall mages. Completely missed that he was making a bomb, missed Elthina's hint. Then you play again and notice all the hints deliberately dropped by the writers

Yeah I'm not suer I remember exactly whether I called whether any of them. I was suspicous of one or 2 like what is Anders up to? When he was making that bomb for the chantry that was. Also to the same extent Blackwall too. I don't think I was suspicious of Morrigan and when not playing a mage myself in those early levels I find her magic useful but I don' t remember thinking anything specific about Morrigan but then I didn't really fully understand the lore when I first played DAO because like with the mechanics I struggled to undrestand it all it was only when I started to understand the mechanics when things started to click.

Then there are all of the lies of omission he tells. At what point does a lie of omission turn into something that is simply not your business? It becomes a lie of omission when it is done to help form a misconception or fail to correct misconceptions. So Solas leaving things out in order to make everyone think he is not Fen'Harel is becoming a lie of omission.

Does Solas actually lie about anything?
Right off the bat when he says, "I did nothing." Talk about a loaded sentence!
As for figuring out plot twists, nope, other than stuff I was unfortunately spoiled on in DAI (both Blackwall and Solas). I don't spend my first PT trying to figure stuff out like that - I just want to get to the next part to find out what happens! I'm not even sure the last time a game actually shocked me plot-wise, though.

Hanako didn't say that all of Solas' lies are lies of omission, but rather there are the outright lies, like your example, as well as all the lies of omission.
