I don't have a job, mainly due to my crappy eyesight and I still live at home with mum too, the old man died about ten years ago. Good luck at Uni! I was never smart enough for that nor had the money.Yeah well I need a life outside of my parents. uni is a good place to start. We all need a life away from our parents for me life didn't work out that way. Not looking forward to the day mum passes though. I'll be a basket case when that happens.

The spine is kinda broken, so all I can do is to read hateful books and to become the minister of physical removal. Well, or you could make me the minister of education or a Uni's chancellor. The choice is yours!

It pays well, I enjoy it and the people I work with are great so I guess being a scaffolder is a good job.
It sure as hell wasn't what my younger self pictured doing at this age but I make enough money that I can take care of loved ones or buy whatever I need and have enough time on my hands to do things I enjoy like boxing or having a social life. And the best part? I'm not chained to a desk or stuck indoors most of the time.

I don't have a job and I live with my parents still. but I'll go to uni in three month-ish. I don't have a job, mainly due to my crappy eyesight and I still live at home with mum too, the old man died about ten years ago. Good luck at Uni! I was never smart enough for that nor had the money. My parents could have been rich. They were higher middle class at some point, but wasteful spending, idiotic housing buys, renting an expensive villa in a good district and also a few other expensive apartments to live (b4 and later), my sister going to Europe to learn stuff in uni (about 25000 Euro?) totally screwed the treasury. The last strike was to win the green card lottery, at the time I could have bought gold and tripled my wealth, just hoarding it. Now we have to send our weak currency to my mother so she and my bro can live in America. It lowered our standard of living a lot. Also had a bad decision myself being optimistic going to a crappy uni in 2014... almost started reading the book that changed my life (later) in 2013, but it didn't happen until summer 2015. And my spine needs real treatment, how am I suppose to work with such pain and daily exhaustion? But hey barely 2 units of apartment left for us, one to live, the other to rent (which is not much, because it's in a crappy place). We live on that plus my father's pension (thanks to oil income it still works, but I doubt westerners can maintain those pensions for much longer). Basically my life has been undermined by many factors. Optimism, debt-economics, bad parenting, political correctness both in the middle east and the west, etc. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also kiddos, learn from my mistakes and exercise a lot... instead of playing video games 12 hours a day in summers when you're at age 13-17, b4 it's too late.

Damn girl, you don't do things easy do you. Sounds as though you've got a plan worked out to try and archive what you want so that's a start. More so than I ever had anyway.

I work as an ILS instructor for adults with disabilities, my bills get paid and I even have extra to spare so it's a good job. While I occasionally love what I do there are times when a client thinks it's funny to pull a knife, or keeps a creepy shrine dedicated to me. There's very few bad days but when I get them they're awful. I have thought about starting my own ILS company, after all my boss has done well for himself, I'm just not sure I want that responsibility yet. Meetings at the North Los Angles Regional center are unnerving enough as a simple peon. If I win lotto though, I'm gone. I knew you were a good person Doing something like this is like... I don’t know... I admire the crap out you, and then at your young age, not many people would do that, not many people does that. And as for myself, everyone knows where I retired from early (due to illness), no need to repeat it here

You're a wonderful person and someone to be admired as well, especially for your kindness with animals.

I’m not but thank you too It’s just that, I know a lot of people don’t understand that side, the work you’re doing and what those people are going through. I tried working at a place like that temporarily when I was a civilian and I was waiting to be transferred to another place and I was scared, it took for me to get sick myself to see that side before I really realized things. As you know I’ve got Hydrocephalus and I’m not handicapped thank God but I could have been and every time I go to the neurologist they check how I walk to see if I’ve received new damage. My condition is called a Brain damage cause it is and while I may not be handicapped, I have received a lot of side effects like mood swings, anger issues, crying a lot suddenly for no reason, I can’t remember well, I suddenly forget where I am stuff like that. And people have made a lot of fun with me here online because of it, so when I see you and you write that you work with people who are disabled then you can bet your ass I admire you, you are a good person, don’t ever forget that.

they couldn't pay me enough to work a camera in some instances of porn Right? Being a porn cameraman sounds like an awesome job when you're a horny teenager, but then you get a little more experience under your belt and the realities of the situation hit you. As for the topic at hand, I'm only working part time as I'm still actively in university. Fortunate enough to have an employer who understands and accommodates my goal (only take classes when I can afford to pay for them out of pocket), so the amount of hours I work varies wildly depending on the time of year. Right now it's not very many as I'm enrolled in some summer classes, but once I'm finished with those it'll be back on the work grind. I'm curious, what are the usual debt numbers a university student has in the USA when they graduate?

A good job is one that pays well and does not ruin your health.
And thats it.
True self-fulfillment can be achieved in your free time when traveling, doing hobbies and meeting people you love, especially with the help of a well paid job.

Depending on the day, my job varies between the three options: Fuck no/It's ok/I don't care, where's my paycheck?
I am currently doing PhD and being a research assistant at my uni. Pay is okayish now after the latest raise. The project I am in is okay, the people are not. Not sure if I am going to stay in this area of expertise once I get my PhD degree, maybe not. Doing science can be awesome but the insecurity of funding and positions are really a downside.

Imho, a good job is a job that employs and promotes your own special talents and skills, pays your bills while maintaining a healthy work-life balance and allows a respectful work environment. That being said, my job is on the okayish side. Work would be interesting and rewarding as I am working in the field of education in health care, but we're constantly sabotaged by internal budget cuts and hardly comprehensible decisions made by the board (cause why base your opinions on facts when you just don't need to deal with that shit?). My coworkers are pretty awesome though. As I am writing this, I'm eating icecream which they saved for me, as I wasn't in the office when it was distributed by HR.

I'm a freelancer (really). Working for myself also means I can pop in here from time to time without annoying the boss... The main thing is, if possible, to find something to do that you don't hate, because you'll spend a lot of time doing it.

I have a decent job, working as an attorney in a non-profit humanitarian organization. I guess comparatively I could be earning more and working fewer hours if I quit the non-profit field and joined a firm somewhere back in the US again, but meh, fuck that rat race forever. Right? Being a porn cameraman sounds like an awesome job when you're a horny teenager, but then you get a little more experience under your belt and the realities of the situation hit you. I work to live, not the other way around. I try to keep life as simple as possible; less hassle, less stress. Get a job that pays ok, that you are decently good at and live a balanced financial life. I started working fulltime after high school, there weren't really any college educations that piqued my interest. Now being a middle management storeclerk of sorts with a steady job; it's alright. Also completed an education as massage specialist but that's just a hobby. ( I hate happy ending jokes and no only my wife gets those )

Two things about nat are true. He is always serious about sex. And he is always messing with you. Serious about porn.
Im a pornstar I get paid to fuck. Now there's something I never expected anyone to admit to, though given this is the BSN anything is possible. Also given that this is the BSN I can't take the statement seriously. Google Phoenix Marie and see what cums up

It is not uncommon for people to wind up paying almost double the amount that they took in loans.

For me I have a checklist for a good job for me.
1. This job has to at least pay enough for me to live in a one bedroom apartment, utilities, groceries, gas, and expenses for my cat.
2. This job has to have a relaxed work environment. I am not a competitive person who is striving to climb the corporate ladder.
3. I'm not required to constantly travel. I'd like to put down roots somewhere.
4. Doesn't over work me. I'm not a "live to work" type person.
5. It's not in customer service.
6. I don't have to take work home with me.
7. If I have to work holidays I at least get holiday pay.
I currently work as a tech at a casino ( we call it wagering place though, because gambling is technically illegal in my state) and so far it has met the 2,3,4, and 6 requirements. Still it fails to pass number 1 and that's majorly important. Thankfully I'm still a college student living with my parents so 1 is not as serious yet.
Bonus from this job is that a lot of weirdo fuckers come in such as retarded brony man.
