Yeeeaaahhh...I try to be, even when I don't want to...piss me off... Do you have any personal personality quirks that piss you off?

Do you have any personal personality quirks that piss you off? A couple. Most annoying thing is I'm always rushing things. When I climb a mountain I have to do it as fast as possible, if there is a task at work I need to finish it as quick as possible, when I am going for a walk I don't walk, I march like back in the military when the sergeant was screaming at me to give everything I have. I always tell myself that I have time and I am well aware of the fact that I don't need go as fast, but I cannot help it, it takes a LOT of effort for me to slow down, and when I do I feel uneasy. I really hate that about myself and I don't know where this is coming from. I actually don't feel like time is running out, nor was I raised that way. I dunno... Anyway, question. How do you perform under stress?

... I suppose it depends on what it is that I'm doing. I can't give a definite answer when there are a lot of determining factors on what task it is I'm supposed to be performing. In some instances, I can do quite well and in other instances, I can completely lose my shit. So I'll say it's a 50/50 chance I can handle and a 50/50 chance I'd have a meltdown. Creative tasks or tasks that I'm familiar with, I can do fine, technical tasks or areas where I have to rely on memory, pfft, you take your chances. How honest do you consider yourself and what amount of honesty do you expect from someone else?

Ummm, that's a hard one. xD I consider myself to be fairly honest but not in an extremely direct way - ask me and you'll get my honest opinion (if it's something not so positive, I try to give it in a considerate way). Don't ask me and I might never state what I honestly think. This is basically what I expect of others as well, although I have a few friends who are much more direct than me and it also works.

About 5months ago, that was at my old place, I don't have one anymore. I don't have a cell phone either.
Which do you prefer, high tech or low tech?

I do like knobs and feisty buttons and switches snapping to contact with distinct *clack*. I also like the convenience of many hi-tech things. Is like Steampunk - just mix old with new.
Going on a travel to place that is 200 years of travel time away. Do you freeze up or do you prefer living and dying and trying to see new generations to complete your journey?

I would probably offer up my DNA to be cloned in future generations and live out the rest of my life en route without being frozen. If there is a way to transfer some or all of my consciousness into data and have that downloaded into a cloned brain or some kind of aesthetically pleasing cybernetics, great! But if there is no way to reverse the biological effects of ageing and repair the damage my current body has, then there really is no reason to preserve it with cryogenics *shrug*

Define strength and weakness and give examples of what type of person falls under each category. Strength is to endure and overcome various kinds of pain or adversities through sacrifice and mental endurance and still maintain a state of hope. According to my own experiences, the top category of human strength is to endure physical illnesses and pain on a daily basis AND try to live a good life at the same time. No other kind of adversity comes even close to that, no loss of loved ones, no financial or romantic tragedies, no war, no other tragedy as big as it may seem compares to simply have your body slowly seize to function correctly with you desperately holding on. If you want to meet the strongest of people in the world you have to go to the hospital and meet those fighting chronic, debilitating illnesses. Probably children cancer patients and kids with auto-immune diseases who endure unimaginable suffering but still desperately cling onto their fragile, young existences. In contrast, one of the purest form of weakness is complacency / apathy, accepting your own flaws very easily and giving in to your shortcomings quickly, without even trying to improve yourself or change your situation. What is your biggest weakness and your biggest strength?

What is your biggest weakness and your biggest strength? For weakness, I would say that I'm prone to depression and pessimism. The glass is always more than half empty and things will only get worse. For strength, I am fiercely loyal to friends and family. What is the top item on your bucket list?

On top of my bucket list is engaging in a duel to the death / complete incapacitation with two handed swords with a (voluntary) opponent on even skill level.
But of course thats not really something that is realistically doable.
I also want to travel through Iceland all by foot, through the highlands, along the shores, across the mountains. That would be nice.
What is the most important thing you think you still have to learn?

Is it cliche to say the Harry Potter universe? I mean, having access to all those magic spells would make my life much more easier and gosh-darn entertaining.
If you can choose to live in a country that's not the US (and Canada because that's too easy), what would it be and why?

Ohhh... Because of the scenery, either Iceland, New Zealand or Norway. I'm not so sure about Australia anymore, it seems like the weather there is getting too hot for my liking. Where do you look to find beauty? what is it about someone or something that you find beautiful?

Who is the most beautiful fictional character in your opinion and why? Cassandra Pentaghast because she is beautiful in so many different ways. Her character is beautiful because she is strong, tough, smart, fierce, non-comformatist but also fair and always ready to fight for what she believes in, but without crossing the border to become a blind fanatic. At the same time she is also very compassionate, loving and has her funny little quirks. Physically she perfectly mirrors her character traits so she looks stunning and original as well. Shes a total A+ on every level. She also reminds me a little for my favorite movie character - Ripley from Alien. Which fictional character who mostly classifies as ''evil'' by todays moral standards should have gotten what he or she wanted?

Close call between The Joker (NOT that petty creature from Suicice Squad though - I'm talking mostly Heath Ledger's Joker) and Thanos. But I'll go with Thanos I guess. He isn't inherently evil, he just decides to follows through with what he thinks is best for the galaxy, to ensure its survival throughout the ages, and despite personal sacrifices that are required of him. I'd even go so far as to say his moral standards are quite high for a villain, as he does not exclude anyone, no matter their wealth, rank or power, while mopping up the universe.
I'm gonna steal the question and turn it around. xD
Which fictional character that is usually considered a "hero" do you detest and why?

I gotta go with Superman, he's too perfect, too blah. Give me a hero like Tony Stark, who has a streak of arrogance or the Wolverine, who has a streak of savage. Then there's Deadpool, his sarcastic sense of humour is awesome. Characters like Superman & Cyclops are kind of boring despite their awesome abilities. Without any flaws, they seem to be too good to be true.
Do you have a favourite genre and do you think it's getting the proper attention on film and in games?

Regency romance. The game community has neglected this genre up until now. Second would be cozy mysteries and they too have been largely ignored.
Do you want romance in your games and if so what kind and if not, why not?

I love a good romantic story as long as it isn't too much of a puff piece and there is a certain degree of intensity and passion. I don't shy away from well presented steamy scenes. One of my favourite examples are the scenes from Sense8 on Netflix. They were very artfully done and they added to the depth of emotions being played. I'm not a fan of gratuitous nudity, but I'm all in if there's a believable reason for it.
What would you miss most if you lost it?

I'm gonna skip people for that question, that would be to sinister xD Sooo... probably my phone. I use it permanently way too much a lot, so I really don't wanna lose it. (I'm also super paranoid about losing it xD) That being said, I never use my phone when I am meeting with people (except for trying to win arguments over facts ), as I consider that extremely rude. What would you do if you had dinner with someone alone and they keep tapping on their phone the whole time?

What would you do if you had dinner with someone alone and they keep tapping on their phone the whole time? Send her annoying GIFs and angry text messages why shes not paying attention to her awesome date. If that didn't work she'd clearly be too immature and rude and I'd simply leave. If you could put yourself in cryogenic stasis and you could ''sleep'' for as long as you liked and wake up like nothing ever happened, would you even do it - and if yes, for how many years?

Yes, I'd do it. I'd say.. 200 years. I'd want to still be able to grasp what went on while remaining a source of information on the past. And I'm really curious how far technology will go in just a couple of centuries.
If you could change your past to suit your own wants, knowing it would change the pasts of all the people around you in ways you can't control, would you do it?

If I could change the actual outcome of events to my desires? Sure, yes, no doubts. But you're saying "in ways you can't control". That's the problem isn't it? If you're asking me if I would change my decisions, my behavior, at any point in the past? - Well, then I still have no guarantees for the outcome. Also, it's still hard to see how what I would have wanted - more opportunities and open paths earlier on in my life - would result from that. I still can't see the way to make that happen, so what's the point? Also, I would have become a different person, and I don't think I actually want that. There's also the fact that I'm pretty comfortable now, as things turned out. My only problem is I work too much. Otoh, I don't have to. I no longer need to work. I just do it because I've a couple of things unfinished. So, nah, there are things I regret, but I think I'll stay with what I have.
If you were guaranteed a successful career, no matter what you would choose, What would you have liked to become?

I stopped being an optimist. I also tend to be a lot more skeptical of other people's intentions. In short, I became a calvinist.

A researcher at a think tank, probably. In what major way has your view on life changed since you were a kid? When I was a kid, I thought adults were always smarter because they were older and knew more things, but as I've gotten older I've learned that a lot of these "smarter" adults are actually quite stupid, selfish and petty. At 51, I now realize many people my age now, when I was a kid, were actually kind of self-important assholes, not really worth paying attention to back then. *shrug* What do you think is more important knowledge or wisdom, and why?
