A bit of both I guess...I keep hoping to read some DA4 info but I also like some of the conversations. Some folks here can be quite entertaining.

What's the hardest thing you've ever had to give up? Hope. / Edgy But not entirely untrue, the hardest thing I had to give up was dream about having a relatively calm, lighthearted and carefree life on which I was clinging to for way too long. That dream went to hell entirely. What was the hardest decision you ever had to take, that paid off later?

That dream went to hell entirely. What was the hardest decision you ever had to take, that paid off later? I'd say choosing a University, or subject even. It took me ages to make up my mind and now I can say that I like what I did. I've had harder decisions to make but I don't know yet if they paid off, so they don't qualify. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What happened in your most recent dream?

What happened in your most recent dream? My family and I had to cross a large river, but instead crossing it via rope like my relatives did I decided to swim across it because, for some reason I was more afraid to rope over it. The currents were brutal, I was constantly pulled down into the water and nearly drowned, I was drifting many many kilometers downstream far from where I wanted to cross the river. When the currents subsided a little the river banks were littered with dangerous animals that preyed upon those who try to get out of the water, and the banks were too steep to climb. I always got charged by those beasts and I had to jump back into the water, only once I got out and managed to sneak past them, when they finally noticed me and charged me I realized I had already made it up the bank somehow and I was safe, standing on a beautiful country road. No idea how I managed that. Then I woke up. Whats the earliest dream you can remember?

What's the earliest dream you can remember?
I still remember a wild nightmare when I was about 3-4 years old. I was laying in bed at night and had a low-grade fever. In my dream there were indistinct people dancing and circling around my bed, and taunting me. It felt like I was inside a rotating whirlwind, completely surrounded by dancing crazy people. It scared the H*LL out of me. I also still remember watching TV cartoons, and experiences in my days in preschool when I was 3-4 years old. That's about as far back as I can go with my childhood memories.
Q. Did you have a situation when you recognized that you were making a decision that would affect the rest of your life? A fork in the road of your life.

Not really, the there were big forks but at the time I did not realize it. If I have to choose one it would be quitting a job after one day even though I needed a job at the time. It turned out to be a big fork.
Give me a food recipe, the best you have.

Give me a food recipe, the best you have.
My favorite dinner recipe for my family and guests is a Honey-Dijon-Curry (sauce) baked Chicken, over Sushi Rice.
Serve with sweet peas or sweet corn, and baked carrots. Add dinner rolls, a White Zinfandel or Rose wine, and a garden salad for a filling meal.
This recipe calls for 6 chicken breasts, but I prepare 2-4.
Start cooking the sushi rice before you prepare the sauce. I measure out a 1/2 cup of dry rice volume per person, and one whole chicken breast per person. Sauce: Use Dijon mustard for the sauce and adjust the amt of curry to taste. I double the sauce quantity because 1) It will cover the skinless chicken in a 9"x9" baking dish for 2-3 chicken breasts, 2) It keeps the skinless chicken from drying out while baking, and 3), the extra sauce makes for a flavorful drizzle for the rice when served. Whisk the sauce's ingredients to a consistent blend before boiling it in a small pot over a stove. Keep stirring slowly while you heat it so it doesn't burn. Boil for 1 min only and let it cool a bit before pouring it over the chicken in the baking dish. I found that boiling the sauce helps caramelize the sugar in the honey and makes for a richer flavor.
I prefer whole boneless skinless chicken (white) breast meat, instead of dark chicken meat (thighs, whole drum sticks. or wings), but use what you prefer. Wash the chicken and pat it dry with paper towel, and trim off any fat. I slice out the tendon in the breast meat. Cut the fresh chicken breasts in half through the thickest section so it will cook a little faster and more evenly. Use food sanitary precautions when working with uncooked chicken meat. Pre-grease the baking dish with a light oil. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish; bathe the chicken in the sauce on all sides, Cover the baking dish with foil.
Remove the baking dish from the oven every 20 min to turn over the chicken. Remove the foil for the last 10-15 minutes. I find baking it for 1 hour can be too long; this depends on how much meat you are cooking. With practice you my find that about 50 mins gets the right amount of "done-ness" for 2 chicken breasts at 375 degrees F., depending on your home's altitude above sea level: Use a meat thermometer to determine done-ness. You are looking to get juicy tender white meat, and the meat's juice is no longer running pink. Place the chicken over rice on each serving plate, then drizzle with sauce over this. A nice White Zinfandel or Rose wine will pair well with this meal. Enjoy

What are the 2 most important life lessons you have learned to improve your life? 1. Don't wait for the perfect moment to enjoy life or things you like to do, you have to learn to appreciate and enjoy the beautiful things in life DURING hardship, suffering, adversity and pain. If you can't learn to do that moments of happiness will be few and far apart. 2. Don't take yourself and others too seriously. What was your best physical feat? (feat of strength / agility / speed )

Given a choice free from family- and economical considerations, would you rather live in the country or in a city? And by the coast or inland?

If you had to choose to live in a different country than the one you currently live in, which one would it be and why? Iceland. I like the people and their customs (Heck, its the only country where strength sport is basically a national sport), the climate is just about perfect, the country is beautiful no matter where you are and its one of the few places that is not overpopulated. Also unemployment rates are veeeery low, people are relatively wealthy / happy there, and the health care system is good. The country is like I like my women, wild, mysterious, headstrong and untamed, yet at the same time smooth, sophisticated and civilized.....where it matters. So anyway, how do you like your men / women / toyboys / sugardaddies / fundolls...... errrrm. I mean partners ?

How do I like my men? ...Hmmmm...Honest, Intelligent, easy to talk to... humorous, adorably awkward, slightly stubborn, patient and enjoys a challenge without getting too big on himself and is able to keep his ego in check. Would have to have talents or skills I find interesting or I appreciate and he'd basically have to be, what I consider, a decent person. What would you consider a good relationship and how easily do you fall into them? @beetle - I hear you one Iceland, it would be one place I'd want to checkout too.

At one time I would've said Australia, no problem...but now, with the number of heat waves it's been getting, I guess I'd stick with Canada. I'm not a fan of extreme heat and prefer cooler climates.

Do you like to be in areas where it snows in the winter, or would you prefer no snow? Disclaimer upfront- where I am it doesnt snow. Closest "snow" area is I think about 2 hrs away and I've only been twice. Yes snow! All the snow! Well maybe not all the snow, I'm sure driving around in it is not exactly amazing ect but you get the idea. It just matches my ice cold heart and personality so well 😂. Describe your your ideal date. Not what they look like, just what you are going to do.

I'm a dinner and movie kind of girl, whether it's a neighborhood restaurant and movie theater or order out/cook dinner and Netflix at home. I'm really not too big on going out to places where you have to do a lot of standing and walking anymore.

I prefer the snow and cold, dark winters. I absolutely detest winters when there is little or no snow.
Edit. Whoopsie, should have checked the page number before posting.
Favorite fictional creature would be talking animals.

What is your favorite memory/experience considering snow (as in water that has frozen, not as in a drug)?
Okay Vella, nice interview question.
When I was 6 yrs. old, my grandfather thought it would be a really cool idea to take me in his 4-wheel-drive truck and drive over the thick ice that had frozen over Lake Superior, one of the Great Lakes. I was petrified the entire time, and I thought the weight of the truck was going to crack the ice, fall into the lake, get us trapped under the ice, and we were gonna die. The air temp had been at least -25 degrees C for over a week (so gramps said at the time), and there were plenty of ice fishing shanties and cars and trucks placed as far as 1 km out from the shoreline. I'd guess we went about 3/4 of the way across the ice field when we stopped at a fishing shanty to see if any fish were being caught (Yes, they were, and mostly lake perch - delicious). To my utter horror, the fishing ice hole inside the shanty was only about 8 cm thick, as I remember. I had no idea lake ice that thin could support the weight of a 1,400 kg truck. Gramps was laughing and having a grand ol' time visiting with his fishing buddies. I was relieved beyond belief when we were safely back on terra firma. I will NEVER do that again. This was NOT my favorite "frozen water" life experience, but certainly the most memorable. I prefer skating at the ice rink. Lol. Thank goodness I lived to tell this tale.
V What is the most honest act of decency you have ever done?
